This research is a qualitative research. Considering the situation of the elderly in Thailand B.E. 2016 and the study of the context of the community with a tendency to increase the proportion of the elderly population together with the problems and obstacles that there are still needs to participate in recreational activities. In this regard there were 38 key informants chosen by a purposive sampling method for each target group. The selected informants consisted of 30 elderly people between 60-69 years old 2 neighbors 2 community leaders 2 family members and 2 government officials. Due to the outbreak situation of COVID-19 the target group has to be adjusted accordingly. There were only 10 elderly people who were willing to be interviewed by phone. These informants are those who resides in Nang Loeng community Phra Nakhon District and Pom Prap Sattru Phai District Bangkok. The data was therefore collected by telephone interviews. It was found that the elderly’s highest average needs for recreational activities were the top 3 categories accordingly as follows: 1.the category of games sports and play 2. dance and 3. singing and music. The results of the research also showed a clear nature of the activities; that is these three types of recreational activities involved body movement fun activities and those that demonstrated their abilities and skills. It can be seen that these three types of recreational activities involved physical movement as the main component of exercise and dancing as well as gestures and posture while singing or playing music. This helps promote physical health mental health and a good quality of life for the elderly. The result also showed that the activities that the elderly most frequently participated in during the recent period were games sports and plays followed by singing and music and dance. The problems found from participating in recreational activities among the elderly was the insufficiency of equipment and facilities followed by the problem of inappropriate places for participating in recreational activities and the problem of inappropriate activity period. (too little or too much time).

The objective of the research is to identify the problems and needs in developing the English communication skills in the workplace of front office hotel staff in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The sample of the study are 420 front office hotel staff in management and operational level selected by using the area random sampling. The data collection approach employed in this study was mix method both questionnaire and interview. The collected data were then analyzed and compared by using frequency percentage mean and standard deviation. The findings were as follows: 1. Four English language skills (listening speaking reading and writing) are essential for all staff and listening is considered as the most important followed by speaking. 2. The main problems of using English in the workplace are writing and reading due to lack of confidence unfamiliarity with the grammatical structure and vocabulary. 3. All staff are desirable to develop English communication skills especially speaking and listening in different situation duties and responsibilities.

This research aimed to 1) investigate the real states and expected states to be a digital university of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and 2) analyze needs for a digital university. The population and sample group were divided into 3 groups including students enrolling in the academic year 2017 instructors and university staff. The research tool was questionnaire. The data analysis consisted of frequency percentage means standard deviation and t-test. The Modified Priority Needs Index formula (PNI Modified) was used to prioritize the order of needs assessment. The research results showed as follows: 1. As for the real states and expected states to be a digital university the means of students and university staff groups were different at the statistically significant level of 0.01. The real states’ overall means were lower than those of the expected ones. While the means of instructor group were not different but considering in each aspect it was found that the real states’ overall means were lower than those of the expected ones. 2. Regarding to need assessment for a digital university modified Priority Needs Index (PNI Modified) was calculated. The PNI Modified of the student group was 1.14-1.68. The aspects of classrooms and laboratories were found the highest PNI Modified (the first rank). The PNI Modified of the instructor group was 0.04-0.22. The aspects of classrooms laboratories and learning resource service system were found the highest PNI Modified (the first rank). The PNI Modified of the university staff group was 0. 76-1.12. The aspect of learning resource service system was found the highest PNI Modified (the first rank).

The objective of the study was to investigate the training needs of the general public and entrepreneurs including those who worked in professional services in Bangkok and suburbs such as Nonthaburi Samutprakan and Pathumthani that operated in workplace.The method used in this study was using questionnaire to gather information about meetings on various occasions.The participants and the sample were general public and entrepreneurs in the Bangkok and suburb areas. The sample of respondents was selected by random sampling consisting of 400 respondents.The instrument used for data collection was questionnaire related to short training courses. This questionnaire contains five parts as follows: Part 1-general information of respondents; Part 2-needs for short training of general public; Part 3-other interesting topics; Part 4- obstacles and problems for those who did not receive short training; Part 5-recommendations. The analyzed data were calculated by using descriptive statistics: percentage mean standard deviation. The results in the study can be summarized as follows: 1. Most of respondents were female whose age was over than 50 years old. Their education level was lower than bachelor’s degree. They worked as general officers with at least five years working experience. 2. The respondents reported their needs for short-training requirements provided by Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The questions asking the training program requirements include 24 items with 5 rating scales: 1. The least 2. Less 3. Moderate 4. High and 5. The highest. The results show that most respondents needed to participate in short-training programs especially in the highest need on item 3.4 Research and the Development of the Community Innovation (x̄ = 4.7649). The results also report that most respondents were highly interested in participating short training program on 21 categories for example Item 1.6 Innovative Social Science Research Methodologies (44.6%) Item 1.1 The Development of Managing International Culinary Training (34.1%) Item 3.3 Knowledge Management in Community of Practice (31.4%) and Item 3.5 Multidisciplinary Community Development. The results of the study reveal that the respondents with moderately needs were interested in Item 2.5 ASEAN Languages for communication (21.1%) The data analysis of readiness show that the faculty of arts Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon was capable of organizing these short-training programs on various topics so as to promote learning and to develop a guideline on academic service for society effectively and to prepare the readiness of places staff experts learning resources as well as collaboration network.

This research was aimed to study the needs for vocational art craft training of Cooperative professional craft group in Nonthaburi Province. A questionnaire was used to explore the needs for art craft training as the career development with its reliability of 0.86. The samples were 30 members of Cooperative professional craft group in Koh Kret Nonthaburi Province in 2017. The results of the study revealed that most of the samples were married female between 31 and 40 years old. Most of them had bachelor degrees and worked as employees. Concerning their needs for vocational art education in each category the highest demand was the training on tissue boxes made by weaving paper which was accounted for 40 % followed by pottery course for 23.33% towel creation course for 20.00% and the least interested was the course of the mobile produced from remnant of cloth accounted for 16.67 %. Regarding daily products the participants liked to attend the courses of making decoupage boxes and present basket decoration which were accounted for 33.33% followed by the origami keychain and the cushion cover courses for 16.67%. Concerning decoration course miniature garden course drew the highest attention for 40.00% followed by fabric artificial flowers for 26.67% picture frame from paper roll course for 23.33% and the lowest interest was flower vase from remnant of cloth course for 10.00%. As for things used in ceremonies the group had the highest needs for Phan Phum training which was accounted for 33.33% followed by Baisri or rice offering course for 30% Krathong or banana-leaf cup course for 20% and the least interested was souvenirs made of cloth for 16.67 %. The training course lasted for 2or 3 days or 50.00%. The training period was on Saturday and Sunday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm or 60.00 %. The group could apply knowledge for 100%. Additional suggestions were that extra needed training courses included corn skin flowers paper packaging fabric keychain straw flowers loincloth wreaths and gift wrapping. The training time was from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm of garments is minimal. of the training time is 2 - 3 days or 50.00%. or 60.00% of the time. The additional recommendation was that the courses required for further training were flowers from corn husks. The training period is from Saturday to Sunday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm or 60.00 percent. Target group can apply knowledge to 100.00%.
