การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการผลิตฝากระโปรงรถยนต์จากแกลบและผักตบชวาเพื่อรองรับการชนคนเดินเท้า
Recently the Thai industry has continually grown up and also plays a role to economic growth in the country which affects the many of automotive components to be in the market. While the degeneration and waste of automotive components had increased as well. Therefore a car hood is one of the automotive parts which damage from the accident. Consequently the researchers have created a prototype material to develop into the car hood which made from the husk and water hyacinth. The random mixture of water hyacinth and husk was attempted to more than 3 ingredients. By forming a flat plate with thickness between 1 to 3 millimeters was used as prototype of the car hood material in this research. Thus the mechanical properties such as compressing and bending test were attempted to by the universal testing machine. The results showed that using resin as a binder material (Reinforced resin by water hyacinth and husk) will have the less ability of energy absorption. While using polymers as a binder (Polymer resin by water hyacinth and husk) will have the better ability of energy absorption. The properly mixture between water hyacinth and husk referred to the energy absorbing properties is 50:50 because the least linear stiffness is 1.087 N/mm. Besides the ability of energy absorption is 1612444 J/m3 which is property of this ingredient can reduce the severity of the impact in the event of pedestrians collision in the best.
ออกแบบและสร้างหุ่นทดสอบการชนของรถจักรยานยนต์ภายใต้สัดส่วนโครงสร้างของคนไทย
The aim of this research is to design a prototype of a male dummy chest for motorcycle crash tests. The primary criteria discussed in this study are based on the unique features of Thai ergonomic body sizes with an age range of the highest fatal rate and the fundamental design of the Hybrid III 50th percentile male crash test dummy. A comprehensive experimental study of crash behavior of the prototype undergoing axial compressive loading is performed using the mutual procedure of cadaveric chest testing. For design criteria the largest chest deflection of 80 mm the maximum acceleration of 38.47g and the absorbed energy of 178.369 Joules are considered in the experiment. The obtained results show a good agreement with the experimental data of other researches in which the capability of the energy absorption depends on impact velocities. In addition the energy absorption capability of this prototype can accurately assess an injury level under AIS 3+. For this reason the first prototype of a male chest dummy is particularly suitable for an assessment of a lower serious injury level in a motorcycle crash test.

The purpose of this research is to study productivity improvement at electronic parts’s assembly line finding the work stations with work station time longer than takt time. This research applied the 5W1H technique as a tool to problem analysis fundamental of hand motions to improve productivity. The study found that the assembly line consisted 15 work stations and a cycle time of 12.0 seconds which greater than the takt time which was 10.5 seconds. The work station time no.6 took longer than the takt time. The fundamental of hand motion technique was applied. By separating or eliminating the fundamental of hand motion did not affect the performance of the work stations. By being integrated the fundamental of hand motion with previous work station or next work station. As a result of research is the new cycle time of this production line is 10.0 seconds the production line capacity increased from 300 pieces per hour to 360 pieces per hour 20 percent increase
การศึกษาโครงสร้างกันแรงกระแทกของรถยนต์ที่ส่งผลต่อการดูดซับพลังงาน
Nowadays an automotive industry steadily has been growing and playing a major role on economy development for many years. The crash box is one of the most important parts for safety but it was found that the crash boxes manufactured domestically are not met international standard requirements. This is due to process and material limitation. This process for automotive safety test requires high budget and there is unclear approach for specific test. Therefore a study of crash boxes referred to energy absorption project was conducted as an alternative choice of testing. Regarding to the problems as addressed above this project was aimed to design and test crash boxes which come in various structures; simple type corrugated type and honeycomb type of crash box. In addition it was also emphasized in studying energy absorption behavior and physical deformation of crash boxes after dynamic and static energy being applied. Numeric simulation and static test methodology of front collision were applied for these tests in reference to USA NCAP standard for automobile collision test. Testing all types of crash boxes indicated that the corrugated type was able to absorb energy at 2.8% and 5.9% higher than honeycomb type and rectangular type respectively. This is capable to pickup stress and strain continually and effecting to more energy absorb than another type. Additionally this corrugated structure is feasible and suitable for crash box design in automotive manufacturing.
การศึกษาผลกระทบของจานเบรกแบบตรง และแบบกลับที่มีผลกระทบต่อระยะทางการเบรก
Nowadays the automotive parts industry greatly grows up in Thailand. Brake disc is one of products that play a role in safety area. As a result the various designs such as front and back-vented brake discs are occurred to improve the performance of usability. Consequently this study aims to develop the ability of braking dynamometer from 9.7 kg-m.1 kg-m. Moreover the influence of the front and the back-vented brake disc effecting on braking distance was investigated by single dynamometer referenced JASO C406 for testing condition. Therefore both of discs were operated under 100 200 and 300 °C of braking temperature and 2 4 and 6 MPa of line hydraulic pressure of braking. 2 to 1272 of moment of inertial From experimental works the test results reflected that the back-vented brake disc created braking distance shorter than front-vented brake disc ostensibly. Besides there are also diversity of factors as temperature pressure and initial speed of braking. Especially the higher temperature caused an increase of deceleration and a decrease of braking distance. Moreover the higher pressure produced a deduction of braking distance and a rise of deceleration. Finally the initial speed of braking was directly various the braking distances in same condition.
