THE EFFECTS OF STUDY COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL THROUGH THE TEACHING OF FOUNDATION OF THAI CIVILIZATION SUBJECT: CERTIFICATED STUDENTS RAJAMANGALA INSTITUTE OF TECHONOLOGY ; POH-CHANG CAMPUS

The objective of this research was to compare the study achievement on Thai Government and Politics of Higher Technical Certificate students of Rajamangala Institute of Technology Poh Chang Art Campus based on the teaching techniques. The total of 49 Poh Chang art students of the 2nd Semester 2002 academic year were simple random sampled and then randomly divided into 2 grcJps; 20 students for the experimental group and the rest for controlled one. The learning-centered teaching technique was used for the experimental group whereas the standard teaching technique was for the other. This research was nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research tool were the measurement for study achievement teaching plan of StudentTeams-Achievement division: STAD) and the group observation form for collecting the qualitative and quantitative data. Statistics applied for quantitative data analysis was ANCOVA (One-Way Analysis of Covariance) with the pretest score as the covariate. Interpretation was used for qualitative data analysis. The findings revealed that 1.There was a significant difference between the study achievement of the students at the level of 0.05 based on teaching techniques. 2.The experimental group had a better team working performance.

A study of the participation with the Education Quality Assurance in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
A study of the participation with the Education Quality Assurance in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon

The objectives of this research were to examine the participation of students in the education quality assurance in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and compare the differences of participation rating scale based on personal factors. The study sample of 381 students was randomly selected from RMUTP undergraduate students in 9 faculties. The data were collected by questionnaire (5 rating scales) and analyzed by Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) to find statistic Percentage mean standard deviation (S.D) t-test and F-test. The test of hypotheses defined the statistical significance at level 0.5.

Nutritional Quality of Fish Mixed with Algae Tofu
Nutritional Quality of Fish Mixed with Algae Tofu

Fish mixed with algae tofu (FAT) was developed to increase the nutrition and to valuate the tufu. FAT was an alternative for healthy consumers. It was prepared from soybean (500 g) mackerel (75 g) algae (25 g) egg albumin powder (7.5g) potato starch ( 5 g) MgSO4 (25 g) salt (7.5 g) pepper (2.5 g) sugar (5 g) and water (2500 g). Then they were fried at 150 oC for 1 min. The chemical quality of FAT had moisture carbohydrate protein fat ash fiber and calcium were 75.37% 6.06% 15.46% 1.42% 1.61% 1.99% and 1.56 mg/100 g. respectively. The microbial counts were less than 10 CFU/g.

An Experimental investigation of the carbonation of blended portland cement palm oil fuel ash mortar in an indoor environment
An Experimental investigation of the carbonation of blended portland cement palm oil fuel ash mortar in an indoor environment

In this research palm oil fuel ash was utilized as a pozzolanic material in blended Portland cement mortar. The mortar was tested on the normal compressive strength and the negative effect of carbonation in indoor environment using the accelerated carbonation test of 5% CO2 in 50% relative humidity. Three palm oil fuel ash fractions of different fineness viz. coarse original palm oil fuel ash (CPOA) medium palm oil fuel ash (MPOA) and fine palm oil fuel ash (FPOA) were used for the study. Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) was partially replaced by these palm oil fuel ashes at the dosages of 20% and 40% by weight of binder. The results showed that the incorporation of the ashes affected the strength and the carbonation depths of mortars. The strengths of mortar slightly decreased with the increases in the dosage of the ash. The fineness of ash on the other hand improved the strength and the carbonation of the mortars. The mortars containing FPOA exhibited high strength and relatively low carbonation in comparison to those using coarser MPOA and CPOA. The use of FPOA resulted in a strong and dense mortar owing to the increased packing effect and pozzolanic reaction. It was therefore demonstrated that the FPOA could be used as a pozzolanic material to replace part of Portland cement for use in the indoor environment.

Football Gambling Behavior of Undergraduate Students: The Cass Study of an Institution in Khon Kaen Province

The purpose of this study is to study the behaviors of undergraduate students in an institution in Khon Kaen province. The results showed that students began to gamble since they were at the secondary school. The causes of football gambling were not only from their desire to cheer up their favorite teams for enjoyment but also they wanted to gain more money that was highlighted as a main factor.
