The participatory learning process of leaung rice 11 production without toxic substance case study : khoklam village kamalasai district kalasin provice

This research aims to study participatory learning process to strengthen rural communities through Leaung Rice 11 production which promotes self-reliability and capability of the communities. This is a participatory action research (PAR) with farm experimental methods. It demonstrates a model to empower community which allows members to identify problems discuss find commitment and approve incoming development. Researchers here are therefore facilitators helping people in the community to achieve effective production of Yellow Rice 11. After providing sufficient information about Leaung Rice 11 production the main problems identified is a high production cost with chemical fertilizer being abundantly used causing health and environment problems to the community. This results in a solution of choosing organic Yellow Rice 11 production that is harmless and friendly to the environment. Despite co-operative learning and problems identification locals also get an opportunity to plant Leaung Rice 11 with organic fertilizer and Effective Microorganisms (EM) as a model to safe cost. It is obvious that rice production is also increased (737.69 Kilogram per Rai). Moreover production cost decreases to 1227.50 Baht per Rai per family. This research provides the community ability to analyze self-problems and potentiality under modern research methodology; problems identification solution identification experiment process co-operative learning data collection data discrimination data analysis and data application.

The development of english language instructional model using mobile electronic devices (m-Learning) for upper secondary students in secondary educational service area office 11

The purposes of this research were to (1) study the needs of teachers and students in Secondary Education Service Area Office 11 in English instruction using mobile electronic devices (m-Learning) and (2) to develop the model of English language instruction using mobile electronic devices (m-Learning) for Upper Secondary Students in Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11. The samples were 222 teachers and 394 students taken from Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11 using a Taro Yamane’s formula with the significant level of .05. The research procedure was divided into two phases. Phase one was the study of the needs of teachers and students in teaching and learning using mobile electronic devices two sets of questionnaires; one set for teachers and one set for students were used to collect data. A model of English instruction using mobile electronic devices was created in this phase. Phase two was the verification of the developed model by the experts. A verification form was used to collect data. Data were analyzed through mean and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows:

The development of critical thinking about financial ratio by cooperative learning : numbered heads together technique. case study undergraduate of Sripatum University chonburi campus

The objectives of this research were 1) study about educational achievement in financial ratio of undergraduate of Sripatum University by cooperative learning: numbered heads together. 2) compare the learning achievement in financial ratio being taught by cooperative learning: numbered heads together technique and the Traditional teaching method . The population used in the research was 80 students that enrolled in business finance on semester 1/2012. The population was divided into a control group and an experimental group. Each group contained 40 students. For data analysis mean standard deviation t-test were used. The research finding indicated that the learning achievements of students using the cooperative learning : numbered heads together technique and the traditional teaching method were at variance with statistical significance at the level of .05 whereas the learning achievement of students of the experimental group treated by cooperative learning: numbered heads together was found higher than the experimental group treated by the traditional teaching method.

Analysis of needs and expert’s opinions on the competency required of computer Job category for work integrated learning (WiL) in higher education

The aim of this research is to analyze the needs and opinions of experts concerning competency required for computer related jobs in the present and the future. Its outcomes would be used in designing a Work-integrated learning (WiL) programs in undergraduate computer related programs (Computer Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science Information Technology and Information System) which meet quality standard specified by The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) The Association for Information Systems (AIS) and The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer - Computer Society (IEEE-CS). The forty educational institutions and industries in line with the development of hardware and software the installation of operating system the installation and maintenance of the network the application of information technology and the use of information system in management were invited to participate in this study. The instruments employed for data collection were questionnaires comprising six parts: 1) General Knowledge of Computer Personnel; 2) Knowledge of Computer Engineering Personnel; 3) Knowledge of Software Engineering Personnel. 4) Knowledge of Computer Science Personnel; 5) Knowledge of Information Technology Personnel and 6) Knowledge of Information System Personnel. Statistic devices used in analyzing the data were frequency percentage arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The results were also compared with the performance analysis of Competency of Computer Jobs Category in ASEAN countries Japan Europe and America. The results were also validated by 12 specialists using a purposive sampling from educational institutions enterprises and the professional associations. It was found that the Competency Required of Computer Job Category for educational management on WIL program were: 1) Computer Architect 2) Computer Support 3) Computer Specialist 4) Project Manager 5) Software Development 6) Applied Program Specialist 7) Computer Consultant 8) Sale and Marketing and 9) Computer Education Trainer.
