The removal mechanisms of organic compound in household wastewater by sedimentation
The experiment was investigated the ability of the natural sedimentation to reduce amount of organic compound in household wastewater including removal mechanisms of organic compound in household wastewater by sedimentation. Sedimentation used in this experiment were collected from klongpremprachakon in 2 locate are as follows; in front of Watsamiannari and in front of train station Bangkhen. The experimental sediment bring it from area actual and sediment has autoclaved for analysis organic compound included BOD value COD value and organic matter by variation of time testing 3 5 12 and 24 hour respectively. The research result found that the experimental 24 hour Amount of organic compound in terms of BOD COD concentration and organic matter retained in household wastewater quite low. The natural sediment redound to adsorption and biodegradation by microorganism was reduce amount organic compound included BOD value COD value and organic matter better than inactivated sedimentation by autoclave.
Greenhouse gas emission reduction from recycled solid waste management : A Case Study of Rattanatibade School, Nonthaburi Province
The study evaluated the greenhouse gas emission reduction of waste management with software of 3R-Greenhouse Gas Calculation Versions 6.0 case study of Rattanatibade School Nonthaburi Province. The results of solid waste from Rattanatibade School Nonthaburi Province are totally 1748 kilogram. Classification of waste by group the results show that other solid waste group had the highest weight. Following by organic waste LDPE plastic cardboard paper (white / black) glass PS plastic PET plastic aluminum newspaper and steel in the quantities 140 90.67 29.05 28.09 27.93 26.51 24.54 21.14 5.33 0.20 kg respectively. When evaluating greenhouse gas emission reduction of solid waste it has found that greenhouse gas emission from solid waste recycled recycling totaled 666.23 KgCO. is the most paper (white / black) is equal to the amount of greenhouse gasses 136.34 KgCO. Following by cardboard LDPE plastic and organic waste. The reduction of greenhouse gases are equal to 113.84 109.03 100.71 KgCOrespectively.
The removal efficiency of oil and grease from cafeteria wastewater by using chitosan from shrimp shell
Chitosan natural cationic polysaccharides is synthesized by deacetylation of chitin one of the major structural elements of exoskeleton of crustacean shrimps. Due to its combination of many unique properties such as no toxicity biocompatibility and biodegradability chitosan has been widely used to adsorb fat and heavy metal absorbents. The present study was undertaken to demonstrate that chitosan extracted from shrimp shell wastes had ability in fat and oil adsorption. In the process 50% chitin in shrimp shells was first obtained and converted into for 25% chitosan through demineralization deproteination and deacetylation process. The highest adsorption performance at 72% was achieved at the chitosan sample at the condition composed of 0.6 g chitosan agitating in 400 mg/L of synthetic water comprising of fat and oil shaking at 90 rpm/min for 10 min. and thus equilibrating for 15 min. at room temperature. Its fat and oil removal efficiency was a effectively close the with that of commercial chitosan (86% and 85% oil and grease removal efficiency). The synthetic chitosan revealed 68.42% adsorption efficiency in treating in water sample with 570 mg/L of oil and fat from the effluent in the canteen at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon North Campus. Therefore from overall the chitosan prepared from shrimp shells could possibly be further developed for future application in oil and fat removal from waste water treatment system.

Study about duck cream soup product from waste duck ribs had objectives to study production process of duck cream soup product and to study about chemical and physical quality of duck cream soup product. The procedures in operation are as follows: Study about three basic recipes of duck cream soup product and study about appropriate time period in boiling of duck rib stock for producing of duck cream soup. The duck rib stock obtained from boiling in different three levels of time as follows: 2 3 and 4 hours. After that the researcher tested in sensory test in overall appearance color smell flavor texture and favor. The researcher used method of giving points of 9-point Hedonic scale. There were 40 testing persons. The researcher planned the random test in RCBD: (Randomplete block design) and compare difference of mean by DMRT (Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test). From the study result it was found that basic recipe cream soup which has been accepted the most of all was Recipe No.2. It was found that the researcher did not give different points to overall appearance color smell and favor. The mean was 7.10 7.23 7.10 and 7.48 respectively. The Duck rid stock obtained from boiling in different three levels of time as follows: 2 3 and 4 hours. Duck cream soup using duck stock for a period of 4 hours Because of the boiling simmer for a long time. Cause evaporation of water As a result the concentration and the smell more pronounced. The mean was 7.18 7.15 7.10 and 7.33 respectively result of chemical and physical quality analysis included viscosity cream soup duck that the period of boiling for 4 hours of 2 .7 5 x 103 cestipois the most pH value to be 6.12. This is consistent with generally produce only soup. The viscosity is between 103 to 104 which the retrogradation of the roux. The duck cream soup with and good texture.

The research objective is to utilize the waste water at 12ºC to 20ºC in exchange with the process water at the temperature of 29ºC. After entering the heat exchanger the process water will have the reduced temperature of 19ºC and then will be delivered to the cooler so the temperature of the process water will further be reduced to 15ºC to involve in the production process. Consequently the cooler’s energy use is lower. Since the common coolers used in these days have problems about the clogged system caused by shrimp residue the cleanup of the system is difficult and the maintenance cost is high. With this problem the research and development of the new heat exchanger is carried out resulting to the Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger type with the angled lid and the waste water flow control pads allowing the water alternatingly running through the lower part and upper part of each pad. The process water will flow in the 6 sets of the stainless tubes with 2 mm. thickness ½ inch diameter and 6 meter length. The space between the set is 5 centimeters for exchanging heat with the waste water flowing outside the tubes. The study conclusion is that the new heat exchanger can reduce the temperature of the process water to 19ºC so it can save the electricity cost of the cooler for 886485 baht per year and make the cleanup easier without taking off the equipment parts thus lowering the maintenance cost as well.
