การมีส่วนร่วมจัดการคุณภาพน้ำในพื้นที่บางกะเจ้าจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

The objectives of this study were to investigate communities confidence in their local leaders the locals awareness and factors affecting peoples participation in the water quality management. Data were collected from interviewing 400 households and analyzed with a Logit model. Results showed that the samples were well aware of water quality problems. The communities confidence in their local leaders was in a middle level and the communities’ participation in common activities was low. Factors that affected communities participation in water quality management were confidence in local leaders membership of the conservation groups education level and awareness of water source problem respectively.

พฤติกรรมการใช้น้ำ และไฟฟ้าของนักศึกษาคณะเทคโนโลยีคหกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร

The purposes of this research are to study: 1) understanding of water and electricity saving 2) water and electricity consumption behavior 3) to compare water and electricity consumption behavior classified by personal characteristics of the students Faculty of Home Economics Technology Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. This research was descriptive research. The sample group was specified to be 325 people by stratified sampling. The reliability of this questionnaire is 0.87. Statistics used was descriptive and inferential statistics. The research result revealed that: 1) The overall of understanding and knowledge regarding electricity saving of the students is in the moderate level. 2) The overall of water and electricity consumption behavior of the students is in the moderate level. 3) The comparison of behavior of water and electricity consumption specified according to personal characteristics could be summarized that the students in different genders classes and majors had identical water consumption behavior and the students in different genders and classes had identical electricity consumption behavior. On the other hand the students having different majors had statistically different electricity consumption behavior at 0.05.

Effective water management : a case study of Moung District Samutsakhon
Effective water management : a case study of Moung District Samutsakhon

This research is a qualitative research. Aim to study how to handle an effective water management. Case study: Muang Samutsakorn District Samutsakorn Province. Either before implementation or during the process and post implementation after the project has been achieved. Sampling groups are agencies involved representing the effective water management resulting in helping Muang Samutsakorn Samutsakorn Province survived from the B.E.2554 mega flood crisis. Consist of Director Head of Engineering Water Delivery and Maintenance Project Phasi Charoen Irrigation Office 11. The research results are summarized below. 1. Pre-implementation Preparation by dredging various gutter in the canals removing all water obstacles installing more mobile water pumps at main pumping stations. Establishing working committee for flood solving and preventing Center. Furthermore check the readiness of tools to be used. 2. During the process Start running the operation center to solve the crisis and closely supervise the action plans. Co-ordinate between Nakhon Pathom Province Samutsakorn Province Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Department of irrigation in administration of water management. Integrate all parties concerned like government and private sectors. 3. Post-implementation Continuously publicize the outcome. Repair the sewage and drainage system which are damaged from use. Make further sustainable plan for drainage system.

การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการผลิตโครงสร้างกันแรงกระแทกของรถยนต์จากกากผักตบชวา

Nowadays an automotive industry steadily has been growing and playing a major role on economy development for many years. The crash box is one of the most important parts for safety but it was found that the crash boxes manufactured domestically are not met international standard requirements. This is due to process and material limitation. This process for automotive safety test requires high budget and there is unclear approach for specific test. Therefore a study of crash boxes referred to energy absorption project was conducted as the alternative materials for product. Consequently this project was aimed to design and test crash boxes which made from the diversity of the alternative materials such as aluminum aluminum reinforced by foam resin reinforced by fiberglass resin reinforced by water hyacinth and resin reinforced by water hyacinth and husk. In addition it was also emphasized in studying energy absorption behavior and physical deformation of crash boxes after dynamic and static energy being applied. The experimental works were applied for these tests in partly referenced to US NCAP and ECE R29 standard for automobile collision test. Testing all types of crash boxes indicated that the aluminum reinforced by foam type was able to absorb energy at 189 MJ/m3. It is higher than resin reinforced by water hyacinth and husk at 1 MJ/m3 as 188 times. Furthermore the comparison of the energy absorption (per unit volume) between the aluminum reinforced by foam type and the steel type from the previous project equivalent 20 MJ/m3 found that it is 8.45 times of difference. While the front impact test was not successful because the size of crash boxes was not suitable for the energy volume. It was a cause for non-available calculation of energy absorption value.

A study of chemical release of wook/PVC composites affecting on the physical and chemical water qualities
A study of chemical release of wook/PVC composites affecting on the physical and chemical water qualities

This research work was to study the chemical release of wood/polyvinylchloride composites (WPVC) affecting the physical and chemical properties of water. WPVC specimens in ratio of PVC and wood (100:100 by weight) were prepared by using twin screw extruder. The water conditions for specimen immersion testing were varied for temperatures of 30-70 oC and specimen immersion time of 0-120 h. The water quality was estimated by measuring pH electrical conductivity turbidity and color of water after immersion of WPVC specimen as comparing with case of PVC specimen. The result suggested that pH values of water slightly decreased with increasing specimen immersion time whereas the change of temperature of water did not affect the pH value. The electrical conductivity remained unchanged with increasing specimen immersion time or temperature except for immersion of WPVC specimens at 70 oC. This might be attributed the weak interfacial bonds between PVC and wood and this led to more easily release the metal ions from additives of PVC. The turbidity and color of water for case of WPVC increased with increasing specimen immersion time whereas those for case of PVC did not change. From the results of water quality testing it indicated that WPVC applications which contact with water are safety. This was because water quality after immersion of WPVC specimen is within the effluent standards of pollution control department.
