Accurate efficient and robust travel time prediction is crucial to the development of advanced traveler information systems for providing route guidance information. To achieve this goal this paper proposed a travel time prediction through the matching of the current speed interval pattern to that in a historical database. Speed intervals instead of speeds are considered in this study to simplify the structure of matching patterns for improving matching efficiency. In this study speed interval patterns are defined by sets of link speed intervals that are either spatially or temporarily correlated with the link considered. With the speed interval patterns the algorithm is developed for searching the historical pattern(s) that is/are the closest match with the current one. Then link speeds from these matched patterns are combined for travel time prediction. By using the GPS probe taxi data which the collected speeds are aggregated in every 5 minutes the proposed travel time prediction system is implemented in Bangkok. With the speed data from probe taxi this paper has chosen four links/paths with different geometric and flow characteristics for testing the performance of the proposed travel time prediction system. From these tests it is found that the optimal speed interval pattern should include: 1) speeds of the studied link within three preceding time intervals and; 2) speeds of links in the first connection level of the studied link. Also while the computational time is capable of real-time application the proposed prediction algorithm is more accurate under uninterrupted flow conditions.

This study aimed to examine the identity of the community towards sustainable tourism development and in order to set an appropriate management guideline in environment and energy conservation in Klongkone Community Mueng District Samutsongkhram Province. The data was collected using in-depth interview of Homestay owner Village Headman and government sector for 10 person. It was found that homestays do not have standard of homestay arrangements. Due to lack of knowledge of hotels and services and lack of policies to conserve the environment and energy in the homestay that is clearly visible. There is only behavior in saving of energy and reduction in energy consumption to reduce expenses incurred in business operations.

This study aimed to develop a homestay village for environmental conservation services. The study divided into 2 stages. The first stage was to study and survey general information and operations of the homestay villages for conservation tourism services. The second stage was to develop the homestay village for environmental conservation tourism services. The mixed methods were employed. The major findings revealed the following: 1. The developed homestay village for environmental conservation tourism services had 6 component’s: (1) Survey a study of document survey of community environment and tourism resources ; (2) Operation planning operation publicizing information to the village people organizing a training on an environmental conservation ; (3) Organization Setting; (4) Relations ; (5) Service welcoming to tourists tourists activities and nearby tourist activities ; and (6) Evolution assessing within the homestays and requesting for evolution from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. In confusion the developed homestay village for environmental conservation tourism services could develop knowledge attitude and behaviors in environmental conservation of the people with homestay service experiences. These people had awareness and responsibility in sustainably environmental conservation in the future.

The objectives this special project were to produce the Chao Phraya Cruise 3D Motion Graphic media and to study about the satisfaction of the audiences who watched Chao Phraya Cruise 3D Motion Graphic which the target was 100 of foreign tourists and Thai Tourists. Under this study the statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency percentage average and standard deviation. The study indicated that the samples were satisfied with the Chao Phraya Cruise 3D Motion Graphic about content was at a high level (= 4.41 S.D.= 0.66) and about quality was at the highest level (= 4.63 S.D.= 0.58)

The purposes of this research are to study the success rate of reaching homestay service standards of Ban na Khun Saen homestay then compare with other Thai standard homestays and suggest the strategies for providing the cultural services to make Ban na Khun Saen homestay to reach Thai homestay standards. The research performed qualitative research from 27 sampling population and 14 supporters who provide homestay service throughout the country from the department of tourism Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The researcher used questionnaire as an instrument to obtain quantitative information as well as a focus group interview and in-depth interview to obtain qualitative information then processed those information with statistical software package to analyze the percentage frequency distribution mean and ranking The statistical analysis found 13 strategies consisting of 58 indicators and compare to actual of Ban na Khun Saen homestay service as follows Strategic services of Ban na Khun Saen is in the suitable level The research found the there are 8 strategies which are A. Service strategies to Compile with Thailand Homestay Standards : A Case Study of Na Khun Sean Homestay in Suan Phueng Ratchaburi Province uses methodology indicated by the result of 13 strategies and 58 indicators to “reserved”or “maintaining” and “develop” or “improve” for the better result and eliminating crisis.”
