Spatial mathematical analysis : an application to mapping of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Thailand
Spatial mathematical analysis : an application to mapping of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Thailand

The objectives of this research are to estimate the morbidity rate of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever in each province of Thailand and to construct the map of the Dengue Hemorrhagic fever. A Bayesian model is used for the data analysis. The data are mathematical spatial correlated in the form of the conditional autoregressive model (CAR). The secondary data were collected at a provincial level. They were the number of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever patients rainfall and average temperature. The research found that the rainfall (RR = 1.0026) and the average temperature (RR = 1.2681) had influence on the morbidity of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever. The season during July to September had more influence on the morbidity of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever than during the other seasons. The top 5 highest morbidity rates per 100000 population were Chiangmai in October (1288.00) July (1096.00) September (804.30) Surin in October (772.30) and Nakhon Si Thammarat in August (666.20). The disease map constructed for showing the distribution of the disease is easy to understand and useful for public health.

Design and development of social media application for expanding experience of museum visitors : a case of temporarily closed museums
Design and development of social media application for expanding experience of museum visitors : a case of temporarily closed museums

Museums and art galleries have utilized social media to communicate with their visitors or people who share the same interest and to improve visitors’ experience in six aspects: recreation socialization learning experience aesthetic experience participatory experience and enchanting experience. This is very important especially when the museum was temporarily closed because of damage from natural disasters. The museum has to find an alternative method to present their collections and communicate with their visitors. This paper will describe impact factors of museum visiting experience and introduce the design decision of social media application: virtual gallery item description annotations for user opinions visualization of user opinions links to users’ Facebook page and souvenir shop. ActionScripts on Facebook which is a Flash library was used for design and development. Other user interface and online social functions included check-in comment like and status post.

Development Project of Application of germinated brown rice in Thai deserts aimed to develop 3 kinds of Thai dessert recipes and process which consisted of Bua loi Frozen Taohuay Lot Chong (A traditional Thai dessert consisting of rambutans in coconut sauce). The result was found that Bua loi Frozen from germinated brown rice was developed by using germinated brown rice and water for Pre-Gelatinization ratio at 2:3 and sticky rice was at 30 gram. Bua loi Frozen at -18 C was thaw in microwave at 70 power 2 minute. The product tested was accepted moderately. The result was found found that Taohuay from germinated brown rice was developed by using germinated brown rice and fresh milk ratio at 100:0 and stability was agar. Taohua tested was accepted moderately. It was found that the product was accepted and there was statistically significant difference at p< 0.05. Lot Chong from germinated brown rice was developed by using germinated brown rice 60 percent and Time for Pre-Gelatinization at 30 minute. Shelf Life Study of Bua loi Frozen at 4 mouth. Taohuay in refrigerator at 1 mouth the product was separate and Lot Chong in refrigerator at 2 week the product was rancid smell and decay to not accept from consumer.

This research aims to study the application of kaolin with coconut meal plywood from corncobs and durian peel in concrete masonry unit wall for increasing effective heat protection and lightweight. The ratio of cement type 1: kaolin is equal to 1: 60 by weight. The kaolin is replaced by fiber include coconut meal fiber corn cob fiber durian peel fiber with 1.67% 3.33% and 5% by weight of kaolin. The kaolin concrete block mixed with fiber sample size is formed to 6.9 x 39 x 19 centimeter with the hydraulic compactor. The samples tested in physical and mechanical properties follow the TIS 58-2533 standard. Resulting their fibers can reduce the density thermal conductivity and compressive strength and increase the changing length and water absorption of kaolin concrete blocks. The kaolin concrete block without fiber has highest compressive strength followed by the kaolin concrete block mixed with corn cob fiber the kaolin concrete block mixed with coconut meal fiber and the kaolin concrete block mixed with durian peel fiber has lowest compressive strength respectively. However their fibers have possibility to be composite materials to reduce weight of kaolin concrete blocks.

The Application of Microcontroller for the Q Measurementation of Band Pass Filter
The Application of Microcontroller for the Q Measurementation of Band Pass Filter

This project deals with the application of microcontroller used for measuring the Q-factor of band pass filter. The procedure starts from the design creation and improvement of Q-factor and bandwidth of the filter. Solving the circuit filter frequency requirement the band must pass the filter. An instrument is necessary in the design of filtered frequency that shows the cut off at the rise edge and down edge searching the bandwidth and Q-factor of the filter. Finally the monitor will show all the values of every detail.
