This research is to study the approach for producing the hard materials part by using tungsten carbide powder. The tungsten carbide powder derived from Tungsten scraps recycle processes which are Insert tools scraps the waste of metal removal process or derived from usage of machining on machine tools which are the production of metal powder by recovering cemented carbide to tungsten carbide powder and bring it to recycle. The first experiment of this research starts with the production of pure tungsten carbide powder in order to produce the hard metal part how to possibly produce the durable part or hard materials. Preparing tungsten carbide powder which pulverized and mixed with Cobalt co-binder less than 17% so that molding with the pressure 300 Mpa and sintering at 1430 degree Celsius to the cemented carbide part in Insert tools type rectangle SNMG standard 120408 for turning. The result is found that the Insert tools have hardness about 1385 HV and density 13.45 g/cm3 and then they are tested to machine specimens in AISI 1045 type. The developed Insert tools can be machining metal removal them as well as the imported Insert tools. It is concluded that the production of Insert tools by recycling of tungsten carbide is qualified as the imported Insert tools. In addition it is the new developed research in Thailand to be the approach for domestic cutting tools product instead of the imported cutting tools.

Recycling of tools Scrap
Recycling of tools Scrap

This research is to study the recycle process of hard materials high hardness type and cemented carbide produced by press forming and sintering process included cemented carbide mixed with tungsten carbide cobalt silicon titanium and others. The research aims to recovery tungsten to use it again. It starts in cleaning and ball milling materials for resizing from length 12-25 mm. width 10-15 mm and thickness 2.5-8.0 mm. then disintegrated with the electric-chemical process filtering metal powder cleaning and drying. The result of dissolved materials with electricchemical process in 85% condensed HCl 6-24 volts and 3-10 amperes. The solution heats up 180 degree Celsius is found that material will be 550 11m of W03 the same as usage of Phosphoric Solution. The result of the study in dissolved materials by using the conductor of electricity is found that usage of cobalt is the best to disintegrate tungsten carbide better than tungsten carbide and stainless steel 10-15%. The result of this research is found that the best practice of tungsten carbide recovery is dissolved materials with electric-chemical process in not over 7N condensed HCl 6.00 volts and 3.00 amperes. The metal powder will be almost 100% pure tungsten carbide and particle sized distribution is 34-360 11m. After ball milling for 24 hours particle sized distribution is less than 60 11m compared with the imported metal powder. It is concluded that the recycle of cemented carbide into tungsten carbide powder qualified for sintering work and produced to the durable hard materials. It ensures that this research is useful for the related industry and the approach for production of tungsten carbide which was instead of the imported metal powder.

Cooling water recovery from water distillation equipment was a research that has the objective to restore the cooling water from distillation equipment which installed at textile chemistry technology department laboratory at Textile industrial and fashion design in Rajamangala University of Phra Nakorn. The research plan was designing and developing the water distillation equipment type cyclon ultrapure water stills model WSC008 of Fistreem company. The outcomes found the designed system could save the tap water consumption 3462.72 square meters per year. That was implied 7617.64 Bath per year of tap water consumption could be save what the tap water consumption rate was 2.22 Bath per square meters. This system was paid back in 3.33 years and the benefit-cost ratio for single project (B/C ratio) was 1.26 (>1). Finally this project was successfully to save the tap water consumption and great benefit investment.
