Quality control of dyeing and finishing of Water Hyacinth yarns and their transformed materials for commercial was a main objective to establish the dye database of synthetic dye and natural dye. The dye database was a data for quality control in dyeing process of raw material as Water Hyacinth yarns also it resolved the un-repeatability dyeing problem. Reactive dye was used for synthetic dye database creation on dry Water Hyacinth yarns at 80oC for 30 minutes. Red as Hicion Red He-3B yellow as Hicion Yellow HE-4RN Blue as Hicion Navy Blue HER 150% and black as Hifix Black KNN were the represent synthetic dye and Sodim sulphate 20 g/l and sodium carbo nate 20 g/l were used as auxiliaries. The other hands the natural dye database was forming from Ebony tree Caesalpinia sappan and Turmeric. They were dye on dry Water Hyacinth yarns at 80oC for 30 minutes and Sodim sulphate 20 g/l was the auxiliary. Whereas Butterfly pea were dye at 80oC for 30 minutes by Sodim sulphate 20 g/l and sodium carbonate 20 g/l were the auxiliaries. The whole dye database was defined the totally in Primary Secondary and ternary dye cycle. The transfer knowledge was distributed to the enterprise at Nakhon Prathom Provincd as “Chumchonjaksanpaktobchawha Bann klongnokkratum”. The topics were “How to establish the synthetic and natural dye database” “Water repel lent finishing” and “developed and transformed the Water Hyacinth to products”. The target group was very satisfied in this topic as 4.39. In the result the proportion between economic and social factor by the income increasing in 1 year was 5.04. So the research project was achievement.

This study aims to investigate on the adjustment of texture and indigo dye using natural substance on Sisal fibre. Temperature time period conditions of texture adjustment process and ombre dying techniques on braided Sisal fibre are used as focal factors of the study. To elaborate further the proper condition to alter braided Sisal fibre is by using softening agent and Surfactant each for 5 grams per litre at the temperature of 50 degree Celsius for 30 minutes as a result the tensile strength of the processed fibre has been reduced compared to the pre-processed ones. After the adjustment process the fabric will be dyed in natural indigo dye with 5 distinctive pigment concentrations of 20 30 40 100 and 200 grams per litre respectively. The colour fastness to washing is at good to high level while artificial light fastness is at an excellent level (level 8). The colour fastness to rubbing under dry condition of the deepest pigment (of 200 grams per litre) indigo-dyed braided Sisal fibre simmered with Sodium Hydroxide and boiled with softening agent and Surfactant is at low level and the colour fastness to rubbing under wet condition of the deepest pigment (of 200 grams per litre) indigo-dyed braided Sisal fibre simmered in Sodium Hydroxide and boiled with softening agent and Surfactant is relatively low to average. Thus it indicates that the softening agent could adjust Sisal fibre and its texture to be smoother and natural indigo dye could be adapted to dying Sisal textile as well.

This research studies dyeing with Thai herbs for UV protection properties in textile products applications and aimed to: study procedures and techniques for this; investigate the use of herbal plant for UV protection; study UV protection properties in fabrics dyed with Thai herbs that can protect against UV rays. The process involved dyeing from natural surplus materials (militia kityana leaves lemongrass leaves and areca palm seeds) extracting the dyes for use in silk dyeing with a mordant to increase the affinity of the dye and fiber then rating the percentage of UV light blocked. Finally the fabric was used to design clothes as a prototype for five Muslim outfits. The research team chose dyed silk fabric with the percentage of UV light blocked are 95.67 – 96.24 which is in good to excellent protection level. Five outfits were designed for this study: 1) Silk dyeing with dyes extracted from the lemongrass leaves – using the first method of fabric dyeing with clear muddy water 1% as mordant 2) Silk dyeing with dyes extracted from lemongrass leaves – using the fourth method of fabric dyeing with the fabric fermented for 30 minutes in mud before dyeing 3) Silk dyed with dyes extracted from areca palm seeds – using the first method of fabric dyeing with 3% tamarind water as mordant 4) Silk dyed with dyes extracted from areca palm seeds – using the fourth method of fabric dyeing with the fabric fermented for 30 minutes in mud before dyeing and 5) Silk dyed with natural dyes extracted from militia kityana leaves – using the first method of fabric dyeing with 1% tamarind water as mordant.

The purposes of this research were1) to study the process of dried banana leaves’ dyeing with natural dye and scientific dye and 2) to study the results of dried banana leaves’ dyeing with natural dye and scientific dye. Dried banana leaves were bleached by using three formulas as follows: 1. Mix Haiter with water in the ratio 1:1 2. Mix Haiter with water in the ratio 2:1 and 3. Mix Haiter with water in the ratio 3:1. Soak 300 grams of the dried banana leaves for 5 days and record the results. The result of this experiment indicated that the third formula wassuitable to whiten and toughen dried banana leaves. After choosing the suitable formula for bleaching
