For this work PM10 were collected from 7 stations within the area of North Phra Nakhon campus Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon Thailand. The samples were collected within 24 hours from January to April 2015. The result shows that the concentrations of PM10 values are in the range of 0.06 - 0.16 mg/m3 and average PM10 of 0.09 mg/m3. The maximum PM10 were found in front of the university. The comparison of maximum PM10 with the standard value of Pollution Control Department (PCD) was slightly over but did not affect human health.

การศึกษาปัจจัยการออกแบบท่อพักไอเสียเพื่อลดเสียงรบกวนและรักษาสมรรถนะของเครื่องยนต์

Nowadays the majority of environment problem is pollution of vehicle including the noise of engine combustion. For this reason this thesis aims to compare and study the parameters which affect noise reduction on exhaust pipe. Not only reduce the noise pollution but also maintain the efficiency of the engine. These two substances must be considered. Therefore the researcher emphasized to study the parameters on 3 types of muffler with an equal volume: direct reverse and offset type of mufflers. Initiated by data collection the pressure and the velocity in muffler at the speed of engine at 1000 RPM (slow-running engine mode) and 4000 RPM (maximum running engine mode) were investigated. The data were applied into the program that called “SolidWorks” in order to study parameters. In this step the relation between the pressure and velocity of exhaust were represented. In addition the muffler models were selected to manufacture and test by the standard of The Department of Land Transport. As a result there are two major parameters of the muffler. Firstly the metamorphism of the exhaust gas flow direction pleasurably causes the lower noise at the speed of engine at 1000 RPM. Besides an increase of the flow gas distance can diminish noise at the speed of engine at 4000 RPM as well. However this muffler models were tested under the working mode of catalytic device that is standard equipment for automotive vehicles.

Awareness and behavior on mobile phone hazardous waste management : A case study of youth in Bangkok Metropolitan
Awareness and behavior on mobile phone hazardous waste management : A case study of youth in Bangkok Metropolitan

The purposes of this research are to examine the students’ Awareness and Behavior on Mobile Phone Hazardous Waste Management (ABMPWM) comparative studies of dependent variables among the levels of independent variables and their Corresponding correlation’s between their exposure to information and ABMPWM and to yield the appropriate means for managing mobile phone waste. The survey research using self-administered questionnaires was conducted on 450 random samples from 264027 students with study standing at junior and senior high school in Bangkok. The analytical statistical methods used were percentage mode mean S.D.(Standard Deviation) T-Test F-Test One-way ANOVA Analysis Correlation Analysis and Regression Analysis & Prediction Model. The level of the Awareness on Mobile Phone Hazardous Waste Management index (AMPHWM index) was high. The AMPHWM index of men was higher than women and significance difference (p<.05). The group of 13-14 years of age had AMPHWM index at the highest level. The samples of junior high school students had higher AMPHWM index than the group of senior high school students. The group of students who bought the mobile phone themselves had higher AMPHWM index than the others. The group of students belonging the mobile phone with 15000 baht had higher AMPHWM index than the low price. The group of students paying service charge monthly about 301-500 had higher AMPHWM index than the group paying more or less. The group of exposure to information had higher AMPHWM than no exposure to information group. Most of students received information from T.V.. The Awareness on Management of Mobile Phone Waste of the group of exposure to information and the group did not expose to information had correlation to the Behavior on Management of Mobile Phone Waste. The level of the Behavior on Mobile Phone Hazardous Waste Management index (BMPHWM index ) was average. The BMPHWM index of men was higher than women. The group of 13-14 years of age had higher than the others. The samples of junior high school students had higher BMPHWM index than the group of senior high school students. The group of students who bought the mobile phone themselves had higher BMPHWM index than the others. The group of students belonging the mobile phone with more 8001-15000 baht had higher BMPHWM index than the lower and higher price. The group of students paying service charge monthly about 301-500 had higher BMPHWM than the group paying more or less. The group of exposure to information had higher BMPHWM index than no exposure to information group. The group of students received information from internet or electric media had higher BMPHWM index than the group students who received the information from the others.

The physical study of noise pollution cause by vehicles: For the case studies Wongsawang intersection and Rama VII intersection
The physical study of noise pollution cause by vehicles: For the case studies Wongsawang intersection and Rama VII intersection

The study noise pollutions at Wongsawang intersection and Rama VII intersection. According Pollution Control Department (PCD) methods. General sound level measurement used for this research and calculate the Leq24br Using the 5-day measurement period. For the result. The Sound level at Wongsawang intersection were exceeding the standard 70 dBA every day. The peak of Leq24br was 80.9 dBA. According the result of PCD. The Sound level at Rama VII intersection were exceeding 2days. Traffic density was a factor that affects the sound level. In addition the maximum sound level (Lmax) of all the measurements were not exceed 115 dBA

Factors Related to Attitude in Environmental Pollutions of Students in Business Administration of Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok
Factors Related to Attitude in Environmental Pollutions of Students in Business Administration of Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok

The purpose of this study was to study the some factors related to attitude in environmental pollutions of students and compare attitude in environmental pollutions of students in faculty of business administration at Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok in 6 aspects : environmental pollutions water pollution air pollution noise Pollution toxic substances pollution and solid waste pollution. The students were classified by gender academic years and major subjects. The samples in this research were 1745 students. The study participates were selected by stratified random sampling. The 30 item tests and 42 item questionnaires of Likerts rating scales were used as the research instrument. Percentage mean standard deviation t -test for independent sample F -test LSD analysis and multiple correlation (stepwise multiple regression analysis) were statistical methods to analyze data. The results were as follows: 1.Attitude in environmental pollutions of students all aspects were in agreeable levels that noise pollution was the highest while environmental pollutions and water pollution was in the lowest rank. 2.Media exposure about environmental pollutions of students were in middle level that friend and television was the highest. 3. There was significant difference for media exposure about environmental pollutions at the 0.05 level among students in different gender and different major subjects. 4. There was significant difference for knowledge about environmental pollutions at the 0.05 level among students in different gender different academic years and different major subjects. 5. There was significant difference for attitude in environmental pollutions at the 0.05 level among students in different gender different academic years and different major subjects. 6. The score -weight of knowledge about environmental pollutions and media exposure about environmental pollutions contributed to attitude in environmental pollutions of students with statistically significant at 0.01 level and then media exposure about environmental pollutions contributed to attitude in environmental pollutions of students higher than knowledge about environmental pollutions.
