งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการออกแบบลวดลายผ้าทอแบบร่วมสมัยสาหรับการประยุกต์ใช้กับผลิตภัณฑ์เคหะสิ่งทอ ชุมชนทอผ้าวัดไผ่หูช้าง อำเภอบางเลน จังหวัดนครปฐม ที่สอดคล้องกับภูมิปัญญา และศักยภาพทางการผลิตของชุมชน ซึ่งประชากรกลุ่มตัวอย่างในงานวิจัยเรื่องนี้คือ ชุมชนทอผ้าวัดไผ่หูช้าง อำเภอบางเลน จังหวัดนครปฐม ผลการวิจัยเรื่องนี้พบว่า ประชากรส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรมเป็นอาชีพหลัก และทอผ้า พื้นเมืองเป็นอาชีพรอง กลุ่มชุมชนทอผ้าวัดไผ่หูช้าง มีความต้องการพัฒนารูปแบบตามแนวคิดลวดลายผ้าทอแบบร่วมสมัย ผู้วิจัยได้ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วมโดยการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นปฏิบัติงานร่วมกันระหว่างกลุ่มทอผ้ากับผู้วิจัยเพื่อส่งผลให้เกิดการวิเคราะห์ปัญหาและแสวงหาแนวทางในการแก้ปัญหา ซึ่งพบว่าลวดลายผ้าทอแบบร่วมสมัย ต้องมีรูปแบบที่ผลิตง่ายไม่ซับซ้อน มีลักษณะการทอผ้า เป็นลายขัดที่เหมาะสมกับการทอผ้าพื้นบ้านของชุมชน และบ่งบอกถึงเอกลักษณ์ของชุมชน ลักษณะลวดลายของผ้าทอใช้แนวคิดการออกแบบลวดลายเน้นแนวคิดด้านการใช้ชีวิต หรือถิ่น กำเนิดของรากเหง้าชุมชน ประกอบไปด้วย ลวดลายเฉียง ลวดลายเกร็ดปลา ลวดลายดาว ลวดลายน้า ลวดลายภูเขา โดยเน้นเอกลักษณ์ที่เด่นของผ้า “ลายแตงโม” ของกลุ่มทอผ้าพื้นเมืองตำบลไผ่หูช้าง ในลักษณะการมัดหมี่ โดยการมัดด้ายพุ่งเพื่อสร้างช่วงของสีต่างๆให้เกิดขึ้นในเส้นด้ายพุ่ง โดยใช้สีดาหรือสีกรมท่า เป็นสีหลักในการออกแบบลวดลาย

The purposes of this research were to design and develop Household of textile from Surins silk. Surin. This research and development was integrated with participatory action research. The research sample were accidental sampling of 80 people who interested in household textile from Surins silk and purposive sampling of 25 trainees. The research instruments were questionnaires and interviewing questions. The results of the research revealed as follows: There were no househole textile Shops in Surin. The buyers were foreigners and Surin people who married foreigners. The most popular household textile at OTOP center was an elephant-shaped pillow. The problems were expensive silk on experts and innovation The suitable style of household textile from Surins silk were cushions and table clothes. The style was simple and unique used for special occasions. The production was handicraft. The curriculum was suited for community. The training time was appropriate. The contents and documents were relevant to activities. The trainers had excellent knowledge. There were enough materials equipment and documents. The trainees had good attitude in working.

This study aims to develop household textiles from Surin Batik silk with pattern of Ancient Khmer Art at Sikhoraphum Castle and to study customers’ satisfaction of household textiles. The population was 400 assessors within the age range of 20 - 50 years in Surin province. The research instrument was questionnaire. Data were statistically analyzed for Percentage Mean and Standard Deviation. Results showed that the majority of respondents were females with ages around 31 - 35 years old. Most of them were married and had income of 15000 – 25000 baht. Most got Bachelor’s degree and used to use household silk textile. Working clothe was the most purchased category. Most household textiles were purchased as souvenirs. Personal preference was the initial motivation for purchase decisions and utilization was the key factor for selecting a product. Regarding onsumers’ satisfaction in 3 types of household textiles from Mudmee Batik silk - cushion lamp and bed cloth – it was found that satisfaction in style pattern colour price and utilization were in similar high level. Cushion was the most purchased household textile. Peacock was the most favorite pattern and consistency of the pattern was the most important factor for purchasing.
