The purpose of this research is to study the construction safety measure for working at height. The safety measure for working at height in this research is developed by referring to the Ministerial Regulations prescribing the standard for administration and management of occupational safety health and environment for construction work 2008. The average of safety is low in five high rise construction projects in Bangkok metropolitan. So all parties involved in contractors need to focus on safety measure for working at height.

This study was aimed to investigate the management process (POSDCoRB) that influenced the effectiveness of the organization consisting of work satisfaction and work quality accomplished at the scheduled time as well as the adaptability of the residential construction business in Bangkok Metropolitan. SMEs companies were selected according to registered capital from 1 million to 5 million baht only the companies with the profitability and unexceed total revenue of 30 million baht in 2016. 160 samples were used to respond to the questionnaire. Descriptive statistics Pearsons Product Moment Correlation Inferential statistics analysis stepwise multiple regression analysis were applied in the data analysis. It was found as follows. 1) The level of the management process of the residential construction business in Bangkok was high as well as planning and budgeting. However the process of people allocation organization direction coordination and reporting were relatively moderate. 2) Respondents in the residential construction business highly agreed upon the effectiveness of the organization work quality scheduled time achievement while the effectiveness of the organization in terms of satisfaction the organization adaptability were moderate. 3) The management processes had the highest correspondence with the effectiveness of the organization in terms of the coordination and adaptability of the organization followed by the budget which was related to the quality of the work. Finally 4) the management process concerning the coordination budget and organization management influenced the organization effectiveness of the residential construction business in Bangkok at the statistical significance of 0.01.

The objectives of this research are to study the production step proper ratio physical properties mechanical properties and thermal insulation of concrete blocks mixed with waste ceramic powder. The ratios of concrete block mixed with waste ceramic powder include Portland cement type1: quarry dust: waste ceramic powder equal to1: 6.8: 0.2 1: 6.7: 0.3 1: 6.6: 0.4 1: 6.5: 0.5 and1: 6.4: 0.6 by weight. Water per cement ratio are 0.6 by weight. The concrete block samples were castedby the general production as same as the ordinary concrete blocks and were tested follow TIS.58. From the results the best amount of waste ceramic powder which put into concrete block is 1: 6.7: 0.3 of ratio. The proper ratios of waste ceramic powder can decrease the density or weight and increase the thermal insulation efficiency of concrete blocks. However the high amounts of waste ceramic powder effect to decrease the mechanical properties concrete blocks that are lower than TIS.58 standard.

The purpose of this research is to study assessment of safety in construction of building projects. The safety assessment form was developed by referring to the Ministerial Regulations. The safety assessment composed of 8 categories: (1) construction site perimeter (2) electricity and fire protection (3) crane (4) passenger lift and material hoist (5) welding (6) fall protection (7) temporary scaffolding and stairs and (8) personal protective equipment. Based on the safety assessment of the construction site the size of the large building exceeds 2000 m2 and height exceeds 23.00 m. in the Bangkok metropolitan has of 20 buildings. The average of safety is 80 percent. By construction site perimeter the highest average and the fall protection has the lowest mean. So all parties involved workers contractors and project owner in particular need to focus on safety work to prevention against falls from high in order to reduce the loss of property life company reputation including the morale of the work as well.
