This research is aimed at studying the development of strong and high strength fiberboard from coconut fiber and corn plant. This is the second consecutive year by using natural latex. To enhance thermal insulation performance. By using the cement ratio: fine sand: coconut pulp: corn fiber: water: surfactant: surfactant is 1: 0.2: 0.0125: 0.0375: 0.3: 0.03: 0.04 by weight Then add natural rubber latex at cement ratio: 5: 1 ratio of natural rubber latex: 1: 0.05 1: 0.10 1: 0.15 1: 0.20 and 1: 0.25 by weight tested in accordance with TIS 878- 2537 on cement slabs. : High density the test results show that the ratio of 1: 0.05 is the fiber cement ratio. The most appropriate the amount of natural latex said. Can make fiber Cement sheets. Best compression and bending strength. And has passed the standard TIS 878-2537 cement fiberboard developed this can help reduce the amount of natural latex is very high. And have a good thermal insulation properties

The effects of plant growth regulators alone or in combination on Hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH) phytotoxicity were studied. Waxy corn seeds were immersed in different plant growth regulators that are 1) 2 mg/l Indolebutyric acid (IBA) 2) 2 mg/l Thidiazuron (TDZ) 3) 2 mg/l Gibberellic acid (GA3) 4) 1 mg/l IBA + 1 mg/l TDZ 5) 1 mg/l TDZ + 1 mg/l GA3 and 6) 1 mg/l IBA + 1 mg/l GA3 then sawn in 30 mg/kg HCH-contaminated soil or non-contaminated soil for 10 days. All plant growth regulators could enhance shoot and root dried weight of waxy corn seedlings in non-contaminated soil. Only 2 mg/l GA3 could enhance root length of waxy corn seedlings in non-contaminated soil. In HCH-contaminated soil only 2 mg/l TDZ could increase shoot dried weight of waxy corn seedlings. Also 2 mg/l IBA or 1 mg/l IBA and1 mg/l GA3 could increase root fresh weight of waxy corn seedlings. The exposure with HCH in soil did not affect to shoot and root tissue even though the growth of shoot and root were inhibited. However the exposure with HCH and receive exogenous plant growth regulator induced aerenchyma formation in cortex and pith of waxy corn root.

The objective of this research to study the basic formulas of Thai egg custard type of cutting corn kernel physicals and chemical properties of final product of this research by -9 point hedonic scale of 30 examiner laboratory. The results show the basic formula of Thai egg custard be recognized to study in the next step. The results show the basic formula of Thai egg custard accept on the like moderately (7). Then conduct 3 type of corn kernel are whole slide and chop for choose by 30 examiner laboratory. The examiner choose slide of corn kernel in enhancing of Thai egg custard at 20% 30% and 40% by total weight. The result show that the % of enhanced slide corn kernel was significant in acceptance and color liking (p<). The texture profile analysis of sweet corn Thai egg custard75.98 to 111.08 of firmness and-30.72 to-35.04 of Cohesiveness. The chemical composition of 20% slide sweet corn kernel Thai egg custard were 243.86 Kcals of total energy 95.95 Kcals of energy from fat6.25 of protein10.66 of fat0.91 of ash29.87 of carbohydrate and 1.70 of crude fiber. However enhancing of sweet corn in Thai egg custard can be extra Consideration of chemical composition of ingredients such as sugar and starch for acceptance of Thai egg custard of these features may affect to physical properties such as in color and texture of production should be intensive studied.

This research aims to study the application of coconut meal and corncob fiber as high density cement-bonded fiberboard. The cement: fine sand: coconut meal and corncob fiber: water: cement setting accelerator (aluminium sulphate (Al2(SO4)3) calcium chloride (CaCl2) sodium silicate (Na2SiO3)) ratio is equal to 1: 0.2: 0.05: 0.3: 0.03 by weight. The fibers are taken from coconut meal: corncob that 5 ratios are used following: 0.0500: 0 (CN0) 0.0375: 0.0125 (CN25) 0.0250: 0.0250 (CN50) 0.0125: 0.0375 (CN75) and 0: 0.0500 (CN100) by weight. 12% of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) was used to modify the fibers by using 1: 10 of fiber: solution and boiling 100 degree of Celsius (1-3 hours). The fiberboard production use pressure casting in normal temperature (30 – 35 degree of Celsius) and 0.75 g/cm3 of density. Resulting the CN75 ratio is suitable ratio which pass TIS 878-2537 standard (cement bonded particle board: high density) and has good physical properties mechanical properties and thermal insulation. The most suitable cement setting accelerator is calcium chloride (CaCl2).

Cement blocks mixed with corncob
Cement blocks mixed with corncob

This research studied about mixing material to make the cement block with corncob to get a lighter weight but still have industry standard strength for non-bearing concrete block (TIS. 58-2530). Normally general cement block use 1:2 ratio by weight of cement and flour rock respectively The corncob were ground through a standard 3/8 inches sieve and were used to replace the flour rock using a ratio of 0% 3% 5% 7% and 9% by weight and setting the ratio of water per cement as 36% 40% 44% and 48% by weight. The compressive strength of 7x19x39 centimeters cement block mixed with corncob was tested at the age of 28 days. The test results to make cement block mixed with corncob showed the suitable ratio 3% corncob using instead of flour rock. The average compressive strength of the blocks was 20.09 kg/cm2 and the percent of water absorption was 12.23 % which past the Thai Industry Standard (TIS 58-2530)
