The construction of physics laboratory i learning kits on sound velocity finding by resonance method
The construction of physics laboratory i learning kits on sound velocity finding by resonance method

The purpose of this research was to construct experimental learning kit on sound velocity finding by resonance method in order to use for a material in Physics Laboratory I. The instruments used in this study included : 1) an experimental learning kit on sound velocity finding by resonance method with the experimental manual and the record forms 2) the pre-studying and the post-studying forms and 3) the questionnaires about students satisfaction in using the kit. The samples consisted of 32 first year students studying in the faculty of Engineering and Architecture. The results showed that the post-test have the higher significant than the pre-test score at level of 0.05. It was found that the sound velocity from both the theoretical and the experimental framework did not significantly different at the level of 0.05. The end correction by experiment higher significant than by calculation at level of 0.01 and students were highly satisfied in using the invented kit.

The readiness of student of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon for labor market to ASEAN.
The readiness of student of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon for labor market to ASEAN.

The objectives of this research is to study and evaluate knowledge base level of RMUTP students regarding information of ASEAN Community and to study their readiness to approach into ASEAN labor markets by doing the random sampling of 386 RMUTP students all-year levels from 9 faculties who are studying bachelor degree. Tools for collecting data are questionnaires on basic knowledge of ASEAN Community and readiness of RMUTP students towards ASEAN Labor Markets by choosing one answer from multiple choices with 5 rating scales. Analyzing data by using readymade computer program SPSS for statistic percentile standard deviation t-test f-test. All test statistics is statistically significant at 0.05 level. The results can be summarized as follows.

Natural ventilation design guidelines for green chemistry laboratories
Natural ventilation design guidelines for green chemistry laboratories

This study focuses on appropriate opening design of natural ventilation for green chemistry laboratories in Thailand. Even though natural ventilation is an alternative way to save energy from using air conditionings nowadays there is no design guideline to promote natural ventilation for chemistry laboratories in the country. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was used to simulate building models with various orientations and opening types. Then a set of simulations was run to test the effect of lay-out designs and opening locations in conjunction with the type of building models such as single-loaded corridor double-loaded corridor and atrium-loaded corridor by comparing ventilation performance with 8 wind directions at the speed of 2 meters per second. Results show that the single-loaded corridor lay-out design and opening arrangement which angled at 180 degree of wind direction and average wind speed of more than 0.5 meter per second was the most suitable comfort for improved natural ventilation in chemistry laboratories. Natural ventilation helps in reducing energy consumption improving quality of indoor environment and responding to the need of users based on standards and principles of green chemistry laboratory design.

Heavy metal adsorption of waste waters from chemical laboratory using firebrick. Case study : Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
Heavy metal adsorption of waste waters from chemical laboratory using firebrick. Case study : Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon

The purpose of this research is to study the heavy metal removal from wastewater from laboratory by using adsorption process with firebricks. Waste water was collected among three courses of laboratory such as analytical chemistry principle chemistry and chemistry for engineers. The optimized absorption efficiencies of multi-elements with stirring time volume ratio and temperature were 2 hours 10 g/100 mL and room temperature respectively. It was found that absorption efficiencies of lead (Pb) copper (Cu) zinc (Zn) chromium (Cr) were 65.1 54.8 63.4% and ND respectively.

Laboratory system electric field From electric pole
Laboratory system electric field From electric pole

The experimental models of electric fields were set up by using 4 forms of electric poles a point - point point - rod parallel rod and coaxial ring. The equipotential lines and electric line of force were drawn by using Microsoft Office Visio Program 2007. The drawing of equipotential lines and electric field had shown the direction of electric field moving from the positive electrode toward the negative electrode and perpendicular to the equipotential line. The point - point poles in 10 cm. distance have constant and the highest electric fields which is 28.64 V/m. The electric fields of point - rod parallel rod and coaxial ring are 60.51 V/m 45.81 V/m and 181.98 V/m respectively.
