Metaheuristic optimization approach has become the new framework for control synthesis. The main purposed of the control design are input (command) tracking and load (disturbance) regulating. This research proposes an optimal proportional-derivative (PID) controller design for the brushless dc (BLDC) motor speed control system with input tracking and load regulating constrained optimization by using the cuckoo search (CuS) one of the most efficient population-based metaheuristic optimization techniques. The sum-squared error between population-based metaheuristic optimization techniques. The sum-squared error between the referent input and the controlled output is set as the objective function to be minimized. The rise time the maximum overshoot settling time and steady-state error are set as inequality constraints for tracking purpose while the regulating time and the maximum overshoot of load regulation are set as inequality constraints for regulating purpose. Results obtained by the CuS will be compared with those obtained by the particle swarm optimization (PSO) and genetic algorithm (GA). From simulation results it was found that the parameters of CuS were optimal than both PSO and GA for BLDC motor speed control system satisfying the preset input tracking and load regulating constraints. In addition the simulation results are confirmed by the experimental ones from the BLDC motor speed control system developed in the laboratory.
Proteolysis and lipid oxidation during ‘mu som’ fermentation as affected by different ratios of white and black glutinous rice
Changes in muscle protein proteolysis and lipid oxidation of ‘Mu Som’ added with different white and black glutinous rice ratios (w:w) at 100:0 (W100) 75:25 (W75B25) 50:50 (W50B50) 25:75 (W25B75) and 0:100 (B100) during 72 h fermentation at 30°C were investigated. During 36 h fermentation B100 exhibited a higher rate of fermentation than others as indicated by lowered pH and lactic acid production (p<0.05). Due to higher acid production rate the proteolysis of muscle proteins as evidenced by the increase in trichloroacetic acid (TCA)-soluble peptides and smaller molecular weight of proteins appeared as electrophoresis were more pronounced. These might contributed to higher released water and expressible water as well as pale color. Higher black glutinous tice higher released water and expressible water were observed. The lipid oxidation in all samples was observed during fermentation. All samples had no difference in likeness scores of all attributes (p>0.05). From the results the ratio of white and black glutinous rice might contribute to proteolysis which effected on released water of Mu Som.
Potential of extracts of Ficus hispida linn for controlling germination and Growth of Weed in Rice Field for Increase the value of biodiversity and its sustainable use
The potential of extracts of the Ficus hispida Linn to inhibit germination and growth of barnyardgrass (Echinochloa crus-galli) a common weed in rice. The bark leaves and fruit of F. hispida isolated by the Maceration and extracted by the polarity of the solvent (Sequential Extraction) with organic solvents such as hexane ethyl acetate and methanol when each part of the crude extract was tested the type of phytochemical tested for germinate inhibition root length inhibition stem length inhibition and dry weight inhibition of barnyardgrass and selected extracts with highest inhibition to separation using column chromatography the fractions tested repeating. The results showed that 1. Crude methanolic extracts from the bark leaves and fruit of barnyardgrass at a concentration of 3000 ppm showed highest inhibited percentage of germinate inhibition root length inhibition stem length inhibition and dry weight inhibition. 2. Fractions methanolic extracts from the bark leaves and fruit of barnyardgrass on a separate with column chromatography found that fractions extracts F5 F8 and F2 showed highest inhibited percentage of germinate inhibition root length inhibition stem length inhibition and dry weight inhibition.
The potential development of Ficus hispida Linn use to traditional herbs and cancer prevention for generate knowledge and heritage of local wisdom
The study used the bark leaves and fruit of Ficus hispida Linn to separation by Maceration and sequential extraction method with hexane ethyl acetate and methanol to crude extracts. Crude extracts were assessed for their antioxidant activities tested using DPPH radical scavenging assay total phenolic contents tested using the Folin–Ciocalteu method cytotoxic activity against oral cavity cancer (KB) human small cell lung cancer (NCI-H187) and breast cancer (MCF-7) cancer cell lines tested using the resazurin microplate assay (REMA). The results showed that 1. Crude methanol extracts from the fruit exhibited free radical scavenging effect on the DPPH assay with IC50 value of 27 g/ml with the total phenolic contents value of 102.39 mg GAE/g dw of standard BHT. 2. Crude hexane extracts from the bark showed highest inhibited the growth of Vibrio paraheamolyticus crude ethyl acetate extracts from the bark showed highest inhibited the growth of Streptococcus mutans ATCC 27175 and crude methanol extracts from the leaves showed highest inhibited the growth of Vibrio cholerae most with MIC value of 7.80 g/ml. 3. Crude ethyl acetate and methanol extracts from F. Hispida exhibited inhibitory effect against oral cavity cancer (KB) human small cell lung cancer (NCI-H187) and breast cancer (MCF-7) cancer cell lines. These data support traditional uses of F. Hispida in folk medicine
The study of effected for orientation setup of workpiece from rapid prototyping process
This research is the study for effected of orientation setup workpiece from Rapid Prototyping process. The objective of this study has to minimize average tolerances of specimen size and roundness of cylindrical specimen. Specimens were studied with orientation direction define 3 axis (X Y Z) and created by rapid prototyping Machine with FDM Technology. The Measuring average tolerance of specimen size and roundness of cylindrical specimen used the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The Result showed that test specimens were formed along the X axis having lowest of average tolerances. The increasing average tolerances of diameter depend on the increasing diameter size. The roundness value of cylindrical surface forming the X axis was the most circular cylinder. The roundness value of cylindrical was depend on the increasing of diameter size. It shows that when the workpiece has a larger diameter. The workpiece would be circular cylinder is decrease
