Loss of the tensile stress of reinforcing bars by rust corrosion
The study of loss of the tensile stress of the steel bar by rust corrosion was proceeded by select the sample steel bars which be corroded to analyze the physical character and find the percentage of weight decrease. Then made the comparison with the steel bar – weight of Thai Industrial Standard 20-2543 (RB) and 24-2536 (DB) and tested the resistance of tensile force. The result found that the steel bar that had percentage of weight decrease at 1-2% would had percentage of tensile stress decreased at 9-15% and had percentage of stretch at 9-39%. When they were compared with the Thai Industrial Standard 20-2543 (RB) and 24-2536 (DB). Overall if the percentage of the weight of the steel bar was decreased at 1-2% the steel bar would can be used in building with unimportant structure such as ground slab by rub the rust off and had the sampling random for the strictly standard test
Factors affecting stress of elderly in ban-klong district amphur muang, phitsanulok province
The objective of this research was to study the factors affecting stress of elderly in Ban-Klong district amphur Muang Phitsanulok province. The 300 elderly in specific area was sampled by stratified sampling and questionnaire was used as a tool in this research. The result indicated the causes of stress could be classified into five factors. The first factor was personal problem such as aging health and injury and timeless. The financial status eg. higher living expense insufficient salary and lower allowance was ranked as the second factor. The third was family status for example death of spouse tribulation and family controversy. The social state – leadership – and environmental problem such as disaster was ranked as the fourth and the fifth respectively. However the stresses were relieved by watching TV seeing movies doing favourable hobbies making merit relaxing doing meditation and praying. Finally effectively management of stress resulted in better mental health and living with wellness.
ผลของการฟังดนตรีตามความชอบ และดนตรีธรรมชาติต่อการลดความเครียดของนักศึกษา คณะศิลปศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร
The purpose ofthis research was to study the effect oflistening to preferred music and natural on stress of the faculty of hberal. Arts Rajamangala University students. These subject were 90 Rajamangala University students aged 18 -21 They were devided into 2 groups with 45 each. The first group listened to prefenred music and the second group listened to natural music. Pretest -Posttest Desigh was used and the data was analyzed by using t -test The results ofthis study showed that: 1) There was statistical significant difference at .01 level between pre-test and post -test on Suanprung Stress Scale scores of the group listened to preferred music and the group listened to natural music. 2) There was no statistical difference on Suanprung Stress Scale scores between the group listened to preferred music and the group listened to natural music.
Analysis of Stress Concentration That Occurs in the Reform with Finite Element Method
This research analyzes the concentration of stress that occurs in the reform by a finite element method. The reform looks like C-clamp used in the compression rear axial drive’s flange. SolidWorks and Cosmos programs are used for modeling and analysis respectively. The comparative results between actual tests and finite element method had error 8.1%. It is concluded that the model of finite element method can be used in this problem’s analysis. Analyses adjust pressure at 230 270 300 350 380 bars. It is found that stress concentration at the neck is 227 265 289 354 382 MPa. The safety factors of the neck are 2.3 2.0 1.8 1.5 1.38 respectively. Stress concentration will be direct variation with reduced pressure. If increasing radius of curvature is not fixed at the neck it can reduce the stress concentration.
The Role of the MAPK Pathways in Response to Ethanol Stress in Saccharomyces cerevisiae
During fermentation process yeast cells are often exposed to ethanol. Although the toxicity of ethanol to budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae has widely been studied the ethanol stress signaling is still unknown. The growth of the mutants lacking genes involved in the mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways was examined under ethanol stress condition. Our results revealed that the STE3 and AKR1 genes involved in the pheromone signaling pathway and the BCK1 MPK1 SWI4 SWI6 and MBP1 genes involved in the cell wall integrity pathway were required for tolerance to ethanol. In addition to the mutants of the cell wall integrity pathway the Δste3 and Δakr1 mutants were sensitive to a cell wall perturbing agent calcoflour white suggesting the role of these signaling molecules in maintaining cell wall during ethanol stress.
