Product Development of Spicy Candied Banana Peels and Pseudo-stems from Waste of Dried Banana Production at Ban Bang Ta Chom Community Enterprise. The purpose of this study was developing formula and prototype of spicy candied from Banana Peels and Pseudo-stems waste of dried banana production for 3 products such as Banana Peels Spicy Candy Pseudo-stems Spicy Candy and Banana Peels and Pseudo-stems Gummy. The suitable condition for Banana Peels Spicy Candy was using banana peels as 20% after using tamarind sauce as 20% and fructose syrup as 20%. The result of physical analysis showed that : products have brown dark color flavor and taste sour and sweet and chemical analysis Total dietary fiber: TDF = 8.05 g : 100 and Total sugar = 66.82 g : 100 g The suitable condition for Pseudo-stems spicy candy was using Pseudo-stems as 20% after using tamarind sauce as 20% and fructose syrup as 20%. The result of physical analysis showed that : products have brown dark color flavor and taste sour and sweet and chemical analysis Total dietary fiber: TDF = 10.55 g : 100 g and Total sugar = 66.48 g : 100 g The suitable condition for Banana Peels and Pseudo-stems Gummy was using Banana Peels and Pseudo-stems as 15% after using flavored fruit juice as 75% and fructose syrup as 30%. The result of physical analysis showed that : products have brown light color flavor and taste sour and sweet and flexible texture chemical analysis Total dietary fiber: TDF = 18.91 g : 100 g and Total sugar = 40.85 g : 100 g The shelf life of 3 products in vacuum packaging (VP). The result of microorganism analysis less than standard for safe products. The consumer acceptability like extremely product and Interested in buying products.

The purposes of this special project were 1) to study dying process of canvas fabric from dried teak leaves 2) to design women’s bags with dyed canvas fabric from dried Teak leaves and 3) to study satisfaction of respondents towards women’s bags with dyed canvas fabric from dried Teak leaves. The procedures has 4 stages follows as; dyed canvas fabric from dried Teak leaves designed women’s bags made prototype product and survey satisfaction of respondents towards bags. Data collected from sample of 120 women by questionnaire. Analyses of the data were performed with frequencies percentage and mean. The results showed that most of the respondents were age below 25 years (92.50%) status of single (93.33%) bachelor degree education level (80.00%) monthly income 5000 baht or less (57.50%) place of questionnaire response at Ruenpanya Building RMUTP (83.33%). The respondents satisfied to women’s bags overall was very satisfied level (4.46). Mean of each bag was extremely satisfied level and sorted from the high mean as follows; bag style 4(4.53) bag style 3 and bag style 5 (4.51 as equal). More suggestion to product prototype was more decoration and had a small bag inside for keep coins.

The study of Khanom Sommanat supplemented with dried pineapple cores revealed that the scraping was the most accepted for its appearance color aroma taste texture and overall liking. The average score is 6.92 6.88 7.27 7.26 7.00 and 7.38 respectively. Due to better grinding the texture is better than spinning and slicing the pineapple. The scrape was added to the Khanom Sommanat found that when added pineapple dried core at 10% of baked coconut. Most recognized for their appearance color flavor texture and overall taste. The scores were 7.20 7.18 7.32 7.35 7.32 and 7.36 respectively. The color L * (brightness) increased but the color a * (red) and the color b * (yellow) decreased. The hardness and crisp increase in weight 100 grams the nutritional value decreased. Carbohydrates protein ash fat but fiber content increases. The study on consumer acceptance of Khanom Sommanat supplemented with dried pineapple cores. It was found that the adoption of the product at 97 percent to the level of feeling. The mean score of 7.57 was moderate. Shelf life can be eaten at room temperature for at least 4 weeks in accordance with Thai dessert community product standard.
Detection of the transparency of air dried sheet rubber using solar cell module
The purposes of the research were; 1) to develop the detection of the transparency of air dried rubber sheet (ADS) using solar cell module 2) to find the average voltage according to the standard ADS grade market level and 3) to construct predictive equation of output voltage of the transparency machine. Samples of this study obtained by a purposive sampling technique was the standard ADS of 652 sheets. The instruments consisted of a multi-meter and transparency machine. For statistical analysis t-test (independent samples) and f-test (one-way ANOVA) were employed. The findings revealed that: 1) The ADS transparency machine consists of solar cell module at the error of 6% 2) The average voltage according to the standard ADS classify market level of 1 2 3 and 4 are 3.41 2.80 2.49 and 1.91 V. respectively 3) The market level and thickness of ADS altogether were the variables that could predict the output voltage of the transparency machine at 86.5 %

The development of dried water chestnuts is aimed to study the appropriate concentration of calcium chloride for preparation of water chestnuts before drying process; a proper duration for drying process by using hot air oven; the comparison of drying processes between solar dried-oven and hot air oven; and the use of dried water chestnuts for Thai dessert products. The research result can be summarized that the concentration of calcium chloride solution is 0.25% that yield the best quality for water chestnuts which had 0.63 water activity (aw); 3.47 moisture content color value of (L*) 62.38 (a*) 4.82 (b*) 35.66; and 0.79 specific density. It also yields the best quality to rehydrate water chestnuts comparing to their previous condition. A proper drying duration of water chestnuts soaking in 0.25% calcium chloride by using solar dried-oven at different duration of drying. Dried water chestnuts dried at 9 hours and average dehydration temperature 50-55 Celsius had 0.31 water activity (aw); and color value of dried water chestnuts is of bright red with (L*) 80.14. Also the brightness of rehydrated water chestnuts decreased to (L*) 58.30 and firmness (Newton) to 68.70. By using hot air oven the study of a proper duration of soaking water chestnuts in 0.25% calcium chloride indicated that drying for 3.5 hours of drying time water chestnuts had highest moisture content while drying for 4.5 hours had the least moisture content. Therefore decreasing of moisture content depends on the drying duration with different methods. The study also found that dried water chestnuts using solar dried-oven had less water activity (aw) and moisture content than those using hot air oven. Moreover dried water chestnuts from solar dried-oven had brightness value (L*) less than those from hot air oven; but dried water chestnuts from solar dried-oven had more reddish yellow than those from hot air oven. Also there is similarity of specific density of water chestnuts from both drying methods. For rehydration of water chestnuts color values of these 2 methods are similar. However color which is similar to fresh water chestnuts is resulted by drying water chestnuts with hot air oven; and the brightness (L*) of water chestnuts texture increases. Also value of (a*) and (b*) of water chestnuts from hot air oven are more reddish yellow. Meanwhile firmness (Newton) from drying with hot air oven is able to maintain strength or firmness of water chestnuts. Percentages of water chestnuts absorption are similar between two drying methods. The sensory test of Thai pudding using dried water chestnuts indicated that there is no statistically significant at 95% level of average scores in the terms of color smell taste dried texture and overall acceptance. The result of microbial analysis from dried water chestnuts found that there is no microorganism. In addition the result of raw material cost calculation showed that drying 1 kilogram of fresh water chestnuts yielded 108 grams of dried water chestnuts. The total cost of production is 48.43 Baht per kilogram.
