The objective of this research was to determine the formulation of soap for carving operations and study the satisfaction of developed carved-soap by carving person. There were 3 basic formulas of the soap e.g. olive oil formula (formula 1; 500 ml olive oil 60 g sodium hydroxide and 140 ml water) coconut oil formula (formula 2; 200 ml coconut oil 34 g sodium hydroxide and 80 ml water) and glycerin formula (formula 3; 200 g glycerin and 5 g sodium hydroxide). The basic formula 3 showed the highest satisfaction scores from carving person when compared with other formulas. The next experiment was to find the optimal temperature for heating the mixtures in the range of 40-60oC. The results showed that the temperature of 45oC was the best treatment for heating three types of soap mixtures. Moreover the formula 3 soap received the highest satisfaction scores ( X = 4.21-4.53) from carving person which had the good appearance exquisite styles shape and proportion right. There was no crack no visible of mold growth and soap powder on the product after caving operations. The satisfaction of 52 carving persons between the general soap and developed carved-soap for carving operations was studied using 5-point rating scales. The satisfaction scores of softness stickiness and aroma were significant different (p<0.05) between two types of soap. However the dryness/hardness silkiness color painting property and overall quality scores were not different. The suitable shape of soap for carving operations was a round shape followed by square shape oval shape and heart shape respectively.

The 5 developed formula of soap was tested and comments by experts . The product of soap carvings has 3 herbal scent lemongrass-scent Kaffir- scent and Lemon- scent. Using the Survey Research method. The target group of 100 people. The tool was used in collecting information. consisted of The 5 formulas of soap product 5 sets and the questionnaires 2 sets sets 1 for professionals include questionnaires about physical properties of soap scented of soap which suited for crave products. Analyzed by using a statistical average and the open of the answer. Set 2 for the target group Questions about the feedback on the product scent herbal soap carved soap fragments from waste soap Using Statistic program to find frequency and the percentage value and then presented in the form of tables of composition. Most of respondents are interested in carving herbal soap products that made from a household waste soap at the level of 99.00 percent People who are interested in carving soap product herbal scent when they see the first sight at the level of 98.00% People who think the fragments of product is proper at the - level of 98.00% People who think the smell of the product is appropriate - at the level of 97.00% People who think the product is appropriate to be souvenir home furnishings or gift - at the level 97.00%

This research aims to develop Thai herbal formulas for household cleaning products and reduce the use of chemicals by using kaffir lime herbs to extract essential oils by using a method of squeezing from the bark. The result is a dark green essential oil with a pleasant aroma when mixed with liquid hand soap and natural residues such as water extracted from silkworm cocoons to add moisture and lye to remove it. Reduce the use of chemical flavoring agents the use of coloring chemicals the use of moisturizing agents and the use of degreasers. In this research the formula for hand washing liquid soap using 80 ml. of essential oil from kaffir lime peel is the right amount resulting in liquid hand soap with a pH value of 7.3 which is the value that is in the standard for mixed liquid soap products.
