Problem and obstacle in learning of student the faculty of science and fisheries technology, Rajamangala University of Technology srivijaya trang campus’ students

The objectives of this research had to study and compare the problem and obstacle of freshmen student who had studying achievements lower than 2.00 in 3 aspects: the student teaching and studying environment aspect variable classified by sex and major. The research group was the freshman students of the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Trang Campus and their studying achievement lower than 2.00. Interviewing was used the research material. The results showed as following: Problems and obstacles which had the most effected to the research group was the student espect for example basic knowledge living adjustment of student lack of motivation and enthusiasm to learn as well as teaching and studying aspect for example lecturer’s inadequate teaching methods respectively. Comparison between problem and obstacle of freshmen student who having studying achievements lower than 2.00 classified by sex and major was found that the different of sex had no statistical significant difference in all and each aspects. In addition the different of student’s major had no statistical significant difference in all aspect. Contrast to in each aspect the studying environment aspect was found statistical significant difference at the level of .05.

Effect of processing methods on product quality of puffed job’s tears snack
Effect of processing methods on product quality of puffed job’s tears snack

This research aims to study the process of puffed Job’s Tears in order to decrease its frying process so that Job’s Tears could be aerated by cooking in a microwave oven. The optimum processing conditions for producing puffed Job’s Tears include soaking them for 22 hours at ambient temperature followed by steaming them at pressure 15 lb/in2 for 20 minutes. Finally the Job’s Tears was dried in the tray dryer at 60 oc for 3 hours 15 minutes to decrease the moisture content to 11-13 %. The Job’s Tears containing 10 grams in weight was by far the best quality when cooked in a microwave oven at 800 watts for 1 minute 30 seconds. The puffed Job’s Tears snack contained 3.27 % moisture 13.32 % protein 14.63 % fat 67.93 % carbohydrate 0.85 % ash and 1.95 % fiber.

A study on the character of the lactation curves of crossbred dairy heifers raised in phetchaburi and prachuap khiri khan provinces
A study on the character of the lactation curves of crossbred dairy heifers raised in phetchaburi and prachuap khiri khan provinces

The objective of this study was to evaluate the phenotypic lactation curve of crossbred dairy cows raised in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan Provinces. Monthly sampling of daily milk yield of 5516 records from 485 first lactating heifers collected by the Biotechnology in Livestock Production Division Department of Livestock Development during the year 1997 to 2003 were used in this study. Monthly sampling of daily milk yield were fitted using Wilmink function (yt=a+bt+cexp-0.05t) to describe the whole and individual curves and estimated lactation parameters (a b and c). All parameters were used to calculate milk yield at day 60 (MY60) 280 (MY280) peak yield (PM) and accumulated 305 days yield (MY305). The results showed that the fixed effects of herd-year-season of calving level of HF blood or genetic provinces and age of calving were significant differences of all traits (P<0.05; a b c MY60 MY280 PM และ MY305). The phenotypic correlations between the considering traits were significant differences (P<0.05). Moreover the study on the nature of lactation curve could describe the lactating abilities and it could represent the others important traits in lactation curve. Therefore these results could guide the farmers to manage their farm and feeding the cattle to be more effective.

Water quanlity analysis of tha chin river in samchuk, suphanburi province

Tha Chin River is important to Samchuk Suphanburi province because the water can uses for urban agricultural tourism and industrial purpose. The increasing of population in Samchuk causes increasing of a demand of the water and a release of wastewater. Therefore the water quality of Tha Chin River was analyzed in flowing through Samchuk area in this research. The water sample was collected from seven ports area including two ports of urban area two ports of agricultural areas two ports of industrial areas and another port of tourism area. The water sample was monthly analyzed in various parameters including temperature in range 30-34 oC turbidity in range 28-59 cm pH in range 7.08-7.44 conductivity in range 19-23 s/cm dissolved oxygen in range 2.4-5.8 mg/L and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) in range 2.0-8.4 mg/L depending on the seasons. In March exhibits the best water quality of Tha Chin River. In addition the water quality of Tha Chin River decreases from agricultural areas urban areas industrial areas to tourism area respectively. However the Tha chin river could be classified as class 1-3 which can be used for tap water fishery marine sport and agriculture.
