Media Exposure and Media Literacy of Youths in Bangkok
The purpose of research is to study media exposures behavior of youths in Bangkok level of media literacy and trend of media literacy after respondents acquired media exposures. The data were collected from 400 senior high school students in Bangkok Then those collected data were analyzed by the descriptive statistic composing of frequency percentage and mean. The methodologies of the study were questionnaires media literacy scale and Likert scale to gain the multi-stage random sampling. The result of the study indicated frequency of samples behavior to media exposures mainly from Internet 1-3 hours a day. Analysis of the data was done by calculating each questioning category in percentage. In this regard most of samples liked to watch television alone at 66.80% surfing Internet 91.5% listening to the radio 85.3% and reading newspaper 92.3%. The reason of media exposures for entertainment is television at 81.30% surfing internet 61.80% and listening to the radio 61.30%. However the main reason of media exposure to get information is newspaper at 46.80%. The prime time of media exposures by watching television and surfing internet is between 8.01 pm to midnight at 60% and 75.30% respectively. In addition the result of the study indicated level of

The Purposes of this study were 1) to study the efficiency of childcentered approach in the faculty of mass Communication Technology Rajamangala Unuversity of Technology Phra Nakhon 2) to compare personal factors with attitude towards the efficiency of child-centeres approach in the Faculty of Mass Communication TechnologyRajamangala Unuversity of Technology Phra Nakhon 3) to study the progress of learning efficiency after the application of child-centered approach in the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology Rajamangala Unuversity of Technology Phra Nakhon and 4) to study the predicted variablesvariablespersonal factors:genderstudy areasstudent gradeschool record and attitudes towards child-centered approach. The sample taken for the investigation was a number of 300 students in academic year 2009 from the faculty of Mass Communication TechnologyRMUTP. The proportion of 300 students was considered as 50 % of all students studying in the semester 2/2009. The data were collected by questionnaires. The data were analyzed by frequency distributionpercentagemeanstandard deviationt-testF-test One-Way ANOVA and Stepwise multiple regression analysis.
Bangkok Dwellers' Attitude and Satisfaction towards Media Campaign on Tobacco Cessation Employing Fear Appeals
The objectives of the research titled Bangkok Dwellers Attitude and Satisfaction towards Media Campaign on Tobacco Cessation Employing Fear Appealswere to study:1) the media exposure behavior of Bangkokians towards quit smoking media campaign using fear appeals2) the attitude of Bangkokians towards fear-bases quit smoking media campaign3) the relationships among media exposure behaviorattitudeand satisfaction of Bangkokians towards fear appeal media campaign on quit smoking . The research methodology was a mixed-method type using survey research for quantitative study and in-depth interview study. In doing one-shot post-test survey questionnaire was distributed for collecting data from 400 Bangkokians randomly selected. In the part of in-depth interview10 smokers with at least 1-year smoking experience residing in Bangkok area were picked as interviewees.seven of them were male and the rest were female.
The Image of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology of Rajamangala University, Technology Phra Nakhon in perspective of M.6 student in Bangkok Area.
The purpose of this study was to examine the image of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology of Rajamangafa University Technology Phra Nakhon in the perspective of M.6 students in Bangkok area and explore their media exposure knowledge and attitude to the Faculty. The researchers also studied the relationship between students media exposure knowledge and attitude to the Faculty and the image of the Faculty. The research data was gathered through the questionnaire survey from 400 M.6 students in Bangkok area. The sample was selected by the Multi-Stage Sampling Method and the data was analyzed by descriptive statistics using Percentage Mean and Standard Deviation. T-test was used to analyze the hypothesis and ANOVA is used to analyze Pearsons Correlation Coefficient. Significant Differences were encountered at p = 0.05 level.
An application of Bayesian Models for risk of withdrawal from calculus 2 for engineers of students at Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Pra Nakorn, North Bangkok Campus
The objectives of this research are: to study the characteristics of students in the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Pra Nakorn North Bangkok Campus that influence to the risk of withdrawal from Calculus 2 for Engineers; to predict the risk of withdrawal from Calculus 2 for Engineers; and to use the results of the study for planning and solving the problems of withdrawal from Calculus 2 for Engineers. The sample is 226 students in the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology who enrolled the Calculus 2 for engineers in the second semester of the academic year 2009. The data are from the questionnaire. The factors considered are grad point average the number of enrollments for the Calculus 1 for engineers Calculus 1 for Engineers grade the number of courses that emphasize on calculation that were enrolled in the second semester of the academic year 2009 the sacrifices of students for the Calculus 2 for Engineers course and the need to withdraw from Calculus 2 for Engineers course before other courses. The logistic regression model in which the parameters are estimated by using Bayesian methods is used for analyzing the data. The study shows that the factors that influence to the risk of withdrawal from the Calculus 2 for Engineers are grade point average Calculus 1 for Engineers grade the number of courses that emphasize on calculation that were enrolled in the second semester of the academic year 2009 and the sacrifices of students for the Calculus 2 for Engineers and the need to withdraw from Calculus 2 for Engineers before other courses. The factor that does not influence to the risk of withdrawal from the Calculus 2 for Engineers is the number of enrollments for the Calculus 1 for Engineers.
