The optimal image processing for paddy studies : Variety classification and rice kernel damage inspection
This research report is manipulated that summarized the moment of research project in the subject of “The optimal image processing for paddy studies: Variety classification and rice kernel damage inspection”. This project had been take time in 12 mounts. We focused on rice variety classification and rice kernel damage inspection. We also investigated the apparent friction of rice surface. Results showed that area and size were the quantities that have the potential to classify rice variety and also rice kernel damage inspection. In addition we also found that geometric mean diameter performed characteristic to apparent friction of rice surface in kerosene. These results have the potential to be the basis information in terms of developing instrument for quality control and variety classification of cereal.
Preparation of Thickener from Dry Dioscorea hispida powder for Textile Printing
The objective of this research was to study the feasibility for producing the dry Dioscorea hispida powder as a thickener. The product was investigated in their properties the compatibility with dye and chemicals in print paste color appearance by indicated with color hue value the time durability storage the residual substance after washing treatment and the color fastness in washing and rubbing methods. The results shown the dry Dioscorea hispida powder was used as thickener that it was the good characteristic like the famous textile printing thickener as alginate. The dry Dioscorea hispida powder thickener was 10%w/w had the equivalent viscosity as 8%w/w alginate. It had 3 days stability storage and good compatibility for direct dye reactive dye acid dye and disperse dye print pastes. The color appearances were corresponding with owned hue in color index databases. The thickener was completely in washing process. And the washing and rubbing fastness were good to excellent.
Value of carbon stock in aboveground biomass of peat swamp forest, nakhon si thammarat province
This study was undertaken by using 10x10 m2 sampling plots chosen by stratified random sampling from 3 areas 50 plots for each area. Height and diameter of all trees with girth breast height (GBH) stem > 15 cm were measured. Aboveground biomass was estimated by allometric equation and the carbon stock was calculated by multiplying biomass value with conversion factor of 0.47. Result founded 4 tree species in 4 families. The Melaleuca cajuputi Powell had quite high density of 2091.31 tree/ha and other species found in some areas are Mitragyna brunonis Craib. Barringtonia coccinea Kostel. and Symplocos ferruginea Roxb with the density of 4.67 2.67 and 2.00 tree/ha respectively. Amount of aboveground carbon stock was 26.27 tonne C/ha. Mostly stem had higher carbon stock than branch and leaf at 19.92 4.94 and 1.62 tonne C/ha respectively. Average value of biomass carbon was 86.77 bath/ha.
Productivity improvement of washing tables by setting standard time: a case study of stainless manufactories
The purposes of this research are to study and improve the productivity process of washing tables by setting standard time a case study of stainless manufactories. Nowadays the manufacturers don’t know the production capacity. That leads to the problems of manufacturers’ work control and late product delivery to the customers. The study is proposed to improve work procedures by designing operation process chart (OPC) the setting of operation stations Operation process chart time (OPC TIME) and finding the standard time in product manufacture. As for the operation process and the standard time setting the research revealed that the standard time of welding station in assembly process for the frame table sink tap nozzle high neck sink flick and welding station of all assembly parts were the first the second the third and the fourth respectively. The researchers’ suggestions were to add 2 welding machines and 2 workers in assembly process so as to work more efficiently so that it can decrease the total processing time from 855.24 minutes/set to 645.91 minutes/set or 24.47 % reduction.
Review of the addition of hydrogen to the compressed natural Gas Fuel
This article presents a collection of studies relating to the development of technologies using hydrogen with compressed natural gas or Hydrogen-enriched Compressed Natural Gas (HCNG). Regarding to the issues of mixing ratio the data show that the appropriated amount of hydrogen falls between 20%-30% by volume in order to balance any tradeoff between engine performance and emissions. The equivalent ratio can be adjusted to be as low as 0.5-0.6. The ignition timingmust also be retarded (Ignition Delay) by averagely 5 degrees of crankshaft rotation to compensate for the change of burning speed. Theuse of 20%-30% of hydrogen by volume decrease both HC and NOx as compared to the use of CNG alone. In terms of the fuel system design the individually-stored gas injection system is of interest. It provides flexibility especially for the adjustment of the fuel composition for optimum ration in any operating conditions. But at present there is no commercial development of such system.
