The Demand of the Entrepreneurs Under the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand on the Competencies of those Graduating from Vocational and High Vocational Colleges with Commercial Major
This research aims to study the demand of the entrepreneurs under the Industrial Estate of Authority of Thailand (IEAT) on the competencies of those graduating in commercial major from vocational colleges and high vocational college. The sample are the 340 entrepreneurs under the IEAT. The tool is questionnaire the reliability are .89 and .92 for vocational and high vocational level respectively. The data are analyzed by mean and standard deviation statistics and it is found that: (1) The demand of the entrepreneurs on the competencies is at a high levels as overall and by level of education and demographic area and (2) The highest demand on the student’s competencies of the entrepreneurs is affective domain.
The Development of Industrial Teachers of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhonûs Image Promotion Model
The objectives of this research were to study present and future desirable characteristics of industrial teachers. And to devolop a role model of desirable characteristics of industrial teachers who graduate from RMUTP. The sample were administrators from vocational schools vocational students and vocational student possessors. Multi-stage randomized population is categorized into three groups defining size from table of Krejcie and Morgan. The total number of population is 576. The instrument was a questionnaire for each sample. All data were analyzed to determine statistical results and presented in tubular form. A focus group meeting of 15 lectures from the Faculty of Industrial Education was organized. The study result showed that most sample from those three groups (administrators from vocational schools vocational students and Vocational student possessors) highly agreed in three aspects namely personality ethics and morality and Professional skill aspects. The focus group committee suggested improving the curriculum and also the activities whic were both curriculum activities and teaching activities of lecturers.
Simulations in Sheet Metal Forming Industry for the 21st Century
High petroleum cost nowadays and expectedly in the future is a major force driving the cost up in every industrial sector. In metal forming industry tooling design is a very important and costly process in the design and development phase. By a traditional means trial-and-error approach requires continuous corrections causing many problems to manufacturers since tooling corrections and real scale experiments are very costly and inefficient consumption of limited natural resources. As a result simulations via computer models play an important role in the present time. An important tool to this problem solving in the sheet metal forming industry is a nonlinear finite element method. When it works together with proper material models it has potential and is suitable for applications in the current 21st century to efficiently analyze and design manufacturing processes especially in sheet metal forming.
Development of Thai Instant Curry Products for Export Industry
The results revealed that the methods were done by various ways. It was found that Tom Yum curry was developed into instant Thai Tom Yum curry powder by drying Tom Yum set in the hot air oven and grinding into powder. Red curry was developed by blending the ingredients together to make curry paste drying the paste and grinding into powder. Green curry was developed into dry and wet combination and curry powder. After being sterilized the dry one was dark in color and gave different taste and smell from fresh green curry paste. The latter was similar to green curry powder. Pa-naeng curry was developed by drying the curry paste in the hot air oven. It was considered as the good property of curry. Whereas Pa-naeng curry cube can be produced by combining with chemical substances and forming the cube by using the blocking machine. Tai Pla curry (Fish innards curry) was developed into powder type by blending the ingredients together to make Tai Pla curry drying the paste and grinding into powder. It was seen that all of curry powder could be kept longer and easily.
Survey on Filamentous Bacteria in Activated Sludge Processes in Concentrated Latex Rubber and Seafood Industries
This study surveyed seventeen wastewater treatment plants in concentrated latex rubber and seafood industries in southern Thailand. The researchers concerned mainly in the bulking sludge problems caused by filamentous bacteria. Wastewaters from those factories contained high organic contents high BOD5 and TKN concentrations. All of the existing activated sludge process were equipped with other pre- and post-treatments. Sixteen of them were concerned with only carbon and suspended removal. They were operated with high hydraulic retention time (HRT) and low food per microorganism ratio (F/M ratio) which are the main causes of bulking sludge problem. Most operators faced up with this problem but could not realize the reasons and solutions. This study observed their settle ability and presented filamentous bacteria in each plant. It can be evidently seen that some filamentous bacteria such as type 0041 and Nostocoida limicola II appeared at seafood treatment plants only and type 1863 found in rubber treatment plants only. This can be affirmed to the nature of influent composition of wastewater.
