The purposes of this research were1) to study the process of dried banana leaves’ dyeing with natural dye and scientific dye and 2) to study the results of dried banana leaves’ dyeing with natural dye and scientific dye. Dried banana leaves were bleached by using three formulas as follows: 1. Mix Haiter with water in the ratio 1:1 2. Mix Haiter with water in the ratio 2:1 and 3. Mix Haiter with water in the ratio 3:1. Soak 300 grams of the dried banana leaves for 5 days and record the results. The result of this experiment indicated that the third formula wassuitable to whiten and toughen dried banana leaves. After choosing the suitable formula for bleaching

This pre-experimental research presented by one -shot case study design aimed to study the effects of arts and crafts activities for Rajvithi Home for Girls in Bangkok. The target group was teenagers between the age of 15 and 18 years old living in Rajvithi Home for Girls in Bangkok. Purposive sampling method was used for the informant selection which was a classroom with 15 students. The research tools were 8 arts and crafts activities consisting of 1) chic hair band 2) hair pin 3) camphor 4) tulip-shaped key ring 5) sandals 6) decoupage bag 7) coin wrapping and 8) bead garland. Data collection was performed by a performance skill test and the target group’s satisfaction on the arts and crafts activities. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results were found as follows: 1) For the performance skill test female teenagers aged 15-18 years old got the good scores. 2) For the target group’s satisfaction on the arts and crafts activities female teenagers aged 15-18 years old satisfied with arts and crafts lecturer duration materials arts and crafts activities and activity topics at high levels.

The objective is to study the effect of training program on Art crafts in Banbangkhae Social Welfare Development Center for the elderly. The target populations are 15 voluntarily elder persons residing in Banbangkhae Social Welfare Development Center Sooksan Building in 2010 who have been selected by the center officials. The Elders are in good physical health and able to participate in the activities. Tool used is a training program on Art crafts for the elderly consisting of Performance Skill Measurement Forms and Satisfaction Questionnaires. Data analysis is descriptive statistics. The results of the research are that: 1) Performance skill scores of the elderly are in a good level. 2) Their satisfactions to participate in the training on the aspects of the lecturer date and time of the training materials and equipments activities topics of training are in a high level.
