Physical properties and consumer acceptance on cotton ball cakes added color powder from carissa carandas l. mixed with maltodextrin

The objective of this research was to study the effects of the processing method on colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. mixed with maltodextrin 3 levels (10 13 and 16 %). The physical properties and consumer acceptance on cotton ball cakes added colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. mixed with all maltodextrin were added at 15% on flour weight. Results from physical properties of cotton ball cakes added colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. mixed with maltodextrin at 10 % was found that the lowest lightness. But also the cotton ball cakes added colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. mixed with maltodextrin at 16 % was exhibited the highest redness and yellowness (p< 0.05) and water activity range from 0.92 to 0.93 (p> 0.05). However the cotton ball cakes added colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. mixed with maltodextrin at 13 % was showed that the highest hardness and chewiness (p< 0.05). Furthermore the colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. mixed with maltodextrin at 10 % was found the lowest adhesiveness (p< 0.05). In addition sensorial evaluation was accepted overall liking score in range 7.63-7.80 (like moderately to like very much. The produce colorant powder from Carissa carandas L. was added maltodextrin from 10 to 16 % (w/w) on (p>0.05).

Influence of the mordant on dyeing properties of cotton yarn with natural dye extracted from teak leaves
Influence of the mordant on dyeing properties of cotton yarn with natural dye extracted from teak leaves

The objective of this research was to study influence of five different kinds of the mordant copper sulfate (CuSO4) ferrous sulphate (FeSO4) alum and chitosan on dyeing properties of cotton yarn with natural dye extracted from teak leaves. Cotton yarn dyeing with the extracted dye from teak leaves was carried out at 60?C for 30 minutes with a material to liquor ratio of 1:5. Three mordanting methods such as pre mordanting simultaneous mordanting and post mordanting were used. After that dyed clothes were subjected to measurement using CIELAB system and fastness tests. The effect of kinds of mordents on the hue of dyeing of cotton yarn shown that CuSO4 FeSO4 gave greenish yellow and yellowish brown respectively. While as alum and chitosan gave violet red. Moreover using CuSO4 (pre mordanting or simultaneous mordanting) and FeSO4 (simultaneous mordanting) improved fastness properties to light better than without a mordant.

The purpose of this research was to study the basic needs of hand-woven cotton fabric with natural dyes the Nan Mon Chae Son group in Lampang. The research instruments were interviewing and evaluation form. The sample were 100 people. The statistic of this research was percentage. The findings revealed that there were different kinds of hand-woven cotton fabric with natural dyes such as scarves bedspreads towels tissue boxes hats bags clothes and pieces of cloth. The design of a luggage storage of heat and hand-woven cotton fabric with natural dyes the Nan Mon Chae Son group divided to 5 groups 25 patterns. The design of mother bag was appropriate at 82% the design of children bag was appropriate at 80% The design of lady bag was the most appropriate at 90% the design of health bag was appropriate at 82% the design of travel bag was appropriate at 81%. The recommendation from evaluation group are as follows. It should make a new products (13 evaluator). It should use the leather for bag handles and decoration (3 evaluator) It should develop the light fastness of fabrics which made from hand weave and natural dye. (4 evaluator).

The purposes of this research were to study the pattern and the basic need of indigo woven groups in study areas and to design develop the textile products from indigo fabrics to compare the pattern of materials production process textile products and transferred cloth product technology from them. The instruments used were interview comment evaluation an evaluation and training evaluation. The sample groups were 100 interested persons and 20 trainees from Ban Tam Toa Tumbon Samakipattana of Arkat-amnuay District in Sakonnakorn. The Statistics used were percent mean and standard deviation. The results revealed that the two study areas were Ban Bin weavers group of Long district in Phrae and Ban Tam Toa of Arkat-amnuay district in Sakonnakorn. The former groups produced indigo fabrics and varieties products such as garments sarongs scarves and shawls but the patterns were more modern. The later groups produced only indigo fabrics that were not processing into other products except the shawls and the scarves. They wanted to produce the varieties products from indigo fabrics. The design and the development of textile product patterns from them which were leaded to produce the garments from two groups of five patterns. The comment evaluations were the ninth patterns were the most suitable garments include the decoration; pattern and design were an average of 4.65. The comparison patterns materials and textile product process from indigo fabrics found that the former groups produced the fabrics for sarong. They used Chok weaved techniques and varieties colored threads for design which were beautiful and high cost. Another made scarves shawls bags garments materials and indigo plant products indigo water and dye. The patterns of the later groups were different from the former groups which most of them were produced into sarong or sewn to the other products. They were used tied dye processes that were the same color materials and processes as the former groups and they work every day. The assessment of transferred technology the trainees were the later groups that needed to make money. The results indicated that the female trainees were elder 40 years who were weavers elementary education and their income less than 5000 baht. Before training they had known indigo fabric design in very low level. The sewing and the design were low level. After training they had known more three parts and can apply their knowledge to high level. The most of trainees require to next training time.

This is an experimental development research. The research aims to study and design the appropriate form of infant diapers. There are two types of infant diapers: The removable and washable infant diaper. Both were made of the organic cotton fabric and were used at Payathai Babies Home as purposive sampling. The purpose of research is to evaluate the design and wear clothing product from organic cotton for babies. The samples are selected by purposive sampling of 13 people and technology transfer. The purpose is to develop of the 15 farmer who plant the organic cotton at Kok-bok village Wang-sapung Lei province. Research Methodology To study the growing of organic cotton in Thailand and to selected the raw importance material resources for a development organic cotton clothing for infant diapers. For the prototype to analysis and test the quality of fiber and fabric from organic cotton then produce and Experiment with the infants. For data collection were used the questionnaires and the evaluation of technology transfer for development organic cotton clothing for babies. Then the data were analyzed by using the percentage and standard deviation. The result of research It can be summarized as follows: 1. The reason of selection organic cotton clothing for babies was the first priority in this research and taking care and convenient usage. 2. The attractive beautiful design and safety were the reasons of selection organic cotton clothing for babies. 3.The most appropriate form of design were the type No.2 (girls design) and type No.1 (boys design) respectively. 4. The most acceptable underwear design were No.1 (one-side infant diaper) and No.2(two-side infant diaper). 5. The most acceptable specification size wrer No.1(boys type) And No.2 (girls type) respectively.6.
