The Relationship among the Multiple Intelligences and English Reading Ability of First Year Students in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
The purposes ofthis research were to study: 1) the multiple intelligences of First Year Students in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon 2) the ability in English language reading of First Year Students in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon 3) the relationship among the Multiple Intelligences and English Reading AbUity of First Year Students in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The samples of this study were 137 first year students from 9 Faculties in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon in the academic year of 2008. The research instruments were the multiple intelligences survey developed by the researcher from Memletics Learning Styles Inventory and the English language reading test constructed by the researcher. The data were analyzed by means of arithmetic mean standard deviation Correlation Coefficient
Creating and Evaluating the Effectiveness of Computer Assisted Instruction Program for Courses of Practiced of Reading Vernier Calliper 0.02 mm and 0.001 Inch
The purposes of the research were to create and efficiency validation of computer assisted for the courses of practiced to reading vernier caliper 0.02 m.m. and 0.001 inch based standard 90 / 90 and analyse the leaning achievement of the student after by using computer assisted instruction. The subjects in the study were 17 first year diploma students enrolled in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The Researcher using the experiment by let the students do until test before class And then study by using computer assisted instruction focused on practiced to basic turning . After that let students do the unit test again at the class and calculate to find out the efficiency of the computer assisted instruction and analyse the leaning achievement of students after study. The research result revealed that the efficiency of the computer assisted Instruction was efficient in standard 90 / 90 Moreover after learning achievement At significant level of 0.05
Creating and Evaluating the Effectiveness of Computer Assisted Instruction Program for Reading Vernier caliper and Micrometer
The purposes of the research were to construct and to evaluate the efficiency of computer- assisted instruction program for reading vernier caliper and micrometer based on criteria and analyze the learning achievement of the student after using computer - assisted instruction. The samples were the first year undergraduate 17 subjects students at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon in 2006 participated in this study. The experiment was conducted by using pretest post test design. The efficiency of the computer - assisted instruction was calculated and was the learning achievement of students after studying analyzed. The result revealed that the efficiency of the computer - assisted instruction was efficient in criteria and learning achievement significantly increased at .05 level.
A Dynamic Associative e-learning model based on a spreading activation network
Presenting information to an e-learning environment is a challenge mostly because of the hypertext/hypermedia nature and the richness of the context and information provides. This paper proposes a dynamic semantic model for e-learning system based on the psycholinguistic theories of human memory Spreading Activation Network (SAN). This work employs a SAN as a technique to provide the interfaces action selection mechanism in an uncertain environment. The paper combines the SAN with the temporal logic to provide an e-learning system that a learning activity level evolves according to their expected contextual relevance. The system differs from the other e-learning by representing dynamic associations between learning activities and the relevance subjects. This system equipped with an Event-Triggered learning interface (context) adaptation component. This component provides multiple parallel processes for perception. These processes provide context screen selection and learning task operation based upon the user current situation. The SAN attempts to achieve a number of goals in an unpredictable complex dynamic environment. Spreading activation explains the predictive top-down effect of knowledge. It supports general heuristics which may be used as the first step of more elaborated methods. This model is suited to deal with the interaction between semantic and episodic memories as well as many other practical issues regarding e-learning including the retroactive effect of semantics over perception. The system uses the SAN to activate the most suitable interface screen (context) in response to the current conditions (learning activities) while the system continues working towards the learning objective goal. The paper presents our efforts to realize such e-learning system. The proposed paradigm has been implemented to develop a prototypical system and the experiments also illustrate the robustness of such an e-learning framework.
