การศึกษาประสิทธิภาพการบำบัดสารพทาเลทในน้ำด้วยเยื่อกรองระดับไมโครฟิลเตรชั่น

Nowadays increasing water pollution has put significant pressure on water resources. Natural organic matter and organic micro-pollutants have been found in potentially harmful concentrations in numerous water sources. Phthalate plasticizers are also micro-pollutants of concern; Di- (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) is one of the most frequently observed plasticizers in the environment as well as one of the most persistent. The maximum permissible levels of these compounds in drinking water and wastewater discharged to the environment are set at low concentrations. In this research water samples were collected from the New Bang Kaen Canal in Bangkok Thailand (13°4906.1N 100°3042.4E) which receives wastewater from human activities and contains impurities in the water. Several common treatment technologies currently used to remove inorganic and organic contaminants from natural water supplies address serious environmental problems. Properly selected microfiltration membrane processes are elements of effective systems for water purification. Polymeric membranes are of primary interest for membrane separation techniques because they are both practical and effective. However pretreatment before using a microfiltration membrane is necessary for suspended solids reduction. This research used two types of polymeric membranes namely cellulose acetate membrane (CA) and polyvinylidene difluoride membrane (PVDF) and covers the most applicable requirements regarding pretreatment of the water intake. The performance of polymeric membranes for water treatment was also investigated. The water quality of the New Bang Kaen Canal was assessed in terms of turbidity SS and COD. This research has the potential to contribute to the monitoring of water quality in the New Bang Kaen Canal. Water quality monitoring is a fundamental tool for water resources management. The performance of polymeric microfiltration membranes was effective for water and wastewater purification in terms of solids organic substances and micro-pollutant i.e. DEHP compounds. Nevertheless the further development of polymeric membranes regarding fouling on the membrane surface and within pores needs to be improved to increase membrane performance and ameliorate the limitations of microfiltration polymeric membranes.

Efficiency of vetiver grass variety songkla 3 cultivated in domestic wastewater treatment with floating platform technique

The purposes of this experimental project are learning and comparing the result of the Vetiver confine time and the health of the plants in the community waste water. The waste water of this experimental are collected from the low-cost housing project Bang-Kruay (Pha-ngung Temple) in Prai Bang sub district Bang Kruay district Nonthaburi province. The experimentation of this project was built the 2 potholes. The first pothole was set by grow up the Songkha 3 Vetiver with the floating platform and the Songkha 3 Vetiver while the second set had only the floating platform without plants as a control. However both of the potholes were control the lead time of confine the Vetiver on 7 14 and 21 days. Parameters of this project are BOD SS nitrogen and the phosphorus. The result showed that the pothole with the Songkha 3 Vetiver was effective more than the pothole that without the Vetiver. The best lead time of confine is 7 days and the performance of BOD SS nitrogen and phosphorus are 83.32 80.31 78.88 and 76.55 that calculated in percentage. Moreover during the test process the Songkha 3 Vetiver are treated and had the survival in 100% well grew up had the new spires roots and the leaves. The waste water was on clear less sediment no foul odor. The Songkha 3 Vetiver was effectively for the community waste water treatment with the floating plat form. From the result it can be treat the BOD and SS till 14 days the

Comparison efficiency of cafeteria wastewater treatment with em microbe produce by banana, watermelon and guava case study : Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon Cafeteria (North Bangkok Campus)

A Comparison Efficiency of Cafeteria Wastewater Treatment with EM Produced by Banana Watermelon and Guava Case Study : Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon Cafeteria ( North Bangkok Campus) has the objective to compare the efficiency of wastewater treatment by using the EM microbe for the Cafeteria that has no waste water treatment system. The treatment solution was leavening agent EM : Molasses : Fruits : Water in the ratio 1 : 1 : 2 : 20 liters (as an experimental group) and leavening agent EM : Molasses : Water in the ratio 1 : 2 : 20 liters (as a control group). respectively and mixed each solution set in wastewater treatment ratio of 1 : 1000 (EM 1 part : wastewater 1000 part) . In the experiment use the 10 liters of wastewater sampling and added the EM microbe solution every 3 days 10 ml per a day and daily for 3 weeks. Collecting the wastewater every 7 day. Parameters in this experiment are BOD COD SS Oil and Grease pH Color and Odor. The comparison showed that the EM made from watermelon can reduce the BOD and SS of wastewater is the best. And adapt the most of pH to pH 7. The EM make from guava can reduce the COD Oil and Grease is the best. The results were in the standards of sewage release of the building type B. In the 1st 2nd and 3rd week the BOD COD SS Oil and Grease and pH from the waste water treatment with EM microbe that make from Banana Watermelon and Guava ( as a Experimental group) and molasses (as a Control group) only are statistically different at the .05 level. By the way the Color and Odor of the waste water analysis before and after treatment with EM microbe 4 species still have yellow color and bad smell.
