The Factors that Effects 0n Household Saving Behaviors in Koh Peah Community, Trang Province
The Factors that Effects on Household Saving Behaviour in Koh Peach Community Trang Province This study investigates effects on household saving behaviour in Koh Paech Community Trang Province. The objectives are (1) to examine the household saving behaviour (2) to analyse various factors affecting the household saving behaviour and (3) to compare household saving behaviour between general household and those which are members of the Saving Group for Production. For primary data questionnaires are employed to obtain information from a total 326 households interviewed in July 2012. These data are examined and evaluated by way of simple statistical analysis with multiple regression used to investigate the relationship between household saving and factors determining it such as the household leader’s age income expenditure and level of education. The study includes consideration of the boosting household consumption policies of the Thai government. Results of this paper indicate that most household leaders are male (70.9%) and half of them are over the age of 50 years. The majority are agriculturists (57%) and most have an elementary education (58.3%). Average number of dependents is two and the average income of households interviewed is 352904 baht/year. Average household expenditure is 186151 baht/year average assets are 2681596 baht/year average debt is 311809 baht and average household saving is 91008 baht/year. Multiple regression analysis reveals that income (0.78) and assets (0.18) both have highly significant positive relationships with household saving while for expenditure (-0.36) there is a highly significant negative relationship. An unexpected finding of no effect from interest rates on household saving may be due to a preference for convenience over returns from saving. In comparing saving behaviour the result show that households which are members of the Saving Group for Production have an average saving of 80342 baht/year. They mostly save money before spending and usually have monthly security deposits. For general households the average saving is 96274 baht/year. They mostly spend rather than save money and have infrequent security deposits.
Situation and Demand Regarding ICT Training of Elderly in Bangkok
This study employs a mixed method research which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative measures to investigate situation and demand in relation to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) training of the elderly in Bangkok. For quantitative method questionnaires are used to obtain information from a total of 355 senior citizens. These data are examined and evaluated by way of descriptive statistical analysis involving frequency percentage mean and standard deviation with t-test and a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). For qualitative method in-depth interviews of 10 coordinators of the Association for the Elderly are undertaken and a focus group of 10 representatives of the Association for the Elderly is employed. The results show that a majority of the elderly do not have a computer (56.3%) or experience of using ICT (33.8%) but indicate demand for ICT training (59.4%) with regard to reading information and news and communicating by way of the internet. In detail there is demand for free training courses dealing with computer use and the internet as well as searching queries convenience of travel to training centres and trainers who understand the capability of the elderly. Comparison by income shows that the elderly whose average monthly income is more than 30000 bahts pay more attention to training courses and services travel convenience and trainers than do those on lower income. Furthermore the demand for training is higher for the elderly who have ICT experiences than for those with no experience. In conclusion the findings of this study suggest that policymakers should provide the elderly in Bangkok with public-access computers free internet connection availability of reduced-price computers and financial support for ICT training courses.
การเปรียบเทียบวัสดุที่ใช้ทำแม่พิมพ์ฉีดที่ทำจากอลูมิเนียมเกรด A7075 กับ เหล็กเกรด P20
Material selection for mold making are not only material prices wages but also there are other factors such as thermal strength shine and resistance to temperature changing that caused distortion and cracks. Preform injection molding from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) consumes time for drying granulated plastic in 4 – 6 hours at 140 - 160°C and injects at 280 – 300 °C. This is a very high temperature to inject into mold at 10 – 15°C in cool area. The material for mold making must be able to resist to thermal shock. Today molding machines are made of grade P20 steel (Standard JIS) to produce preform that takes long cycle time due to poor cooling. The research aims to compare the pricing time in mold making to preform injection time that made of aluminum -A7075 grade and grade P20 steel. The experiment is to make a mold that made of aluminum A7075 grade and grade P20 steel injects 15 gram preform. The PET is used to blow into a blow mold with pressure at 30 – 35 bar (Two – Stage) that are 2 bottles of 350 ML. The results of material selection for preform mold making showed that aluminum A7075 grade is cheaper 27.04% the mold price is cheaper 23.6% and consumes less cycle time than grade P20 steel.

The purposes of this research were to make artificial wild orchids from joint-vetch to imitate the natural one. Researchers studied joint-vetch dyeing Thai wild orchids forming from joint-vetch Thai wild orchids selecting by considering appropriate appearance shape and composition and five experts gave the opinions on the chosen researched orchids. The development of wild orchid product from joint-vetch was transferred to housewife’s group artificial flower entrepreneur and interested people in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The satisfaction of the research product was investigated from 60 target groups. The research’s results were: The appropriate types of Thai wild orchid were Ueang Matchaanu (Purple Bauhinia) Chang Iyares (Rhynchostylis retusa (L.) Blume) Ueang Sae Mon (Dendrobium bellatulum Rolfe) Ueang Sainamkrung (Dendrobium parishii) and Leuang Junthaboon (Dendrodium friedericksianum Rchb. f.). They were made into Thai wild orchid box Thai wild orchid bouquet Thai wild orchid garden in the glass and Thai wild orchid bouquet decoration. After the target groups attended the knowledge and technology transfer training course the investigation found was as follows: Most participants 73.33 % were female and 26.76 % were male. Most participants (33.33%) were in the 41-50 years age category and 26.66% were in the 21 – 30 years age group 21.66% were in the 31 – 40 years age group 10 % were more than 50 years old and 8.33% were younger than 20 years old. 33.33 % of the participants were famers 20% were freelance and merchants 16.66% were students and 13.33% were civil servant officers. The overall satisfaction of the participants after attending the training course was at the high level (4.73). Other aspects were found that the average mean (4.68) of the instructor was at the highest level. The average mean (4.74) of the facility was at the highest level. The average mean (4.71) of the product was at the highest level. The average mean (4.35) of the understanding was at the high level. The average mean (4.73) of the knowledge application was at the highest level.
