รูปแบบล้อ Run-flat ที่เหมาะสมสำหรับรถยนต์บรรทุกปกติขนาดเล็กติดเกราะ
The objectives of this research were to study the stress intensity in run-flat metal wheels and to design a new type of run-flat wheels that can be used in a small armored regular truck. Experimental methods and finite element methodologies were applied in the research process. The results obtained by comparing the strain values from the two methods demonstrated the consistency of both methods. The differences in stress values were in 10 -16 percentages which could confirm the capability to analyze the stress distribution and deformation of run-flat by a finite element method. Proven processes and procedures in Pre-processing with SolidWorks Simulation were utilized to design run-flat wheels and a reverse engineering process was next used to create wheel rims and design the cross-sectional shape of new run-flat wheels made of composite materials which have an important reactant; a polymer group and aluminum oxide powder added to enhance the strength. The designed parameters consisted of 1) the width of the run-flat wheels 2) the internal and external radius in which the internal radius depending on the size of the wheel rim and the outer radius which is a variable that determines the height of the run-flat wheels 3) the design of a lockset for tightening the run flat wheels to the wheel rims 4) materials used in the structure of the run-flat wheels and 5) tire pressure. The run-flat wheels designed and built into three-piece parts were designed for ease of wheel assembly or disassembly out of the wheel rims. By analyzing the intensity of stress accumulated in a conventional run-flat wheel (run-flat metal wheel) the stress generated in a run-flat wheel did not exceed the limit of the Yield stress and had a safety value between 3-5 times for new run flat wheels with a maximum stress of 26 MPa. Sizing and cross-sectional dimensions of run flat wheels thus resulted in stress which was in the range that could be withstood and acceptably employed. It was also possible to reduce the height of the flat wheels to make the rear flats lower and increase the width of the run flat wheels which would help distribute more weight to the wheel rims.

This research analyzes the parameters affecting the penetrating resistance of shells on the armor surface by the finite element method. In this study the results were compared with real bulletproof armor firing tests and finite element simulations. modeling of bulletproof armor using Solid Works program. Creating and simulating armor firing pattern using ANSYS Explicit Dynamic program. damage test is based on National Institute of Justice level 3 standards with material of the ammunition is 7.62 mm tungsten carbide (WC) and speed 847 + 9.1m/s. there are two types of bulletproof armor used in this simulation 1. SKD11 2. Aluminum AL7075. The simulations is into 1 category Simulation of stacked armor plates. The sizes of the armor plates are 6 8 and 10 mm and the angles of firing of bulletproof armor are 0 30 and 45 degrees. result of this simulation armor thickness and firing angle are factors of penetration resistance. when the angle of the projectile is tilted it will cause the projectile to deflect reducing the frictional contact from the impact.

HV power distribution system circuit breaker are important devices in substations. Such as Malfunction or deterioration of equipment with in the substation will directing impact on the stability of the power distribution system and affect the reliability of the system. In addition this means that it is necessary to assess the actual condition of the proper condition-based operation and maintenance. Thus this thesis presents condition assessment procedure for equipment by using technical information visual inspection by Weighted Scoring Method. Weighting technique is used to determine important weight testing methods of devices by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Testing methods for circuit breaker are such as visual inspection contact timing test. Scoring technique is divided into 1-3 levels by classifying on actual evaluate equipment consisting of consisting of good moderate bad. This thesis proposes a software development in order to organize the database and calculate the analysis of the condition of equipment in 5 HV substations. The evaluation results will be divided into 3 levels good medium and bad condition. According to the evaluation level the maintenance types are separated into 1) regular maintenance 2) increase the frequency of maintenance and monitoring of the test 3) equipment must be improved urgently. Finally abnormal incidents of equipment and cost of HV equipment maintenance can be reduced in effective way.

This research aimed to experimentally study of solar panel efficiency with water cooling. Three mono-crystalline solar panels with the capacity of 80 W (for each panel) were used for this test. The first panel was a solar panel without water cooling. The second panel was a panel with water spray cooling. The last panel was a solar panel with water drop cooling. The cooling water flow rate was varied to 50 75 and 100 LPH. From the test it was found that the temperatures of all solar panels had the similar trends. The solar panel efficiency decreased when the temperature of solar panel increases. The solar panel efficiency increased when the cooling water flow rate was increased for both of water spray cooling and water drop cooling. For all water cooling flow rates the water spray cooling solar panel performed higher efficiency than water drop cooling solar panel. The highest solar panel efficiency in this test occurred when the water spray cooling flow rate of 100 LPH.

Non-destructive test with Acoustic Emission technique was used for monitoring of the corrosion in the above ground oil storage tank. In the analytical characteristics of acoustic emission wave however Acoustic Emission test has to be prior used for the location detection of corrosion especially indication of the severity of corrosion. In this research the relationship between the corrosion rate and the sound wave energy was studied. The corrosion and damage detected on the surface of the aboveground storage tank was determined by the Acoustic Emission Test. Nine pieces of low carbon steel grade SS400 was soaked in sodium chloride solution in simulated tanks at concentrations of 1.5 3.5 and 5.5 wt%. Next the corrosion activity was checked by performing with the Acoustic Emission Testing for 1 hour and thus calculating the corrosion rate of the test specimens. From the experiment it was found that the rate of corrosion affects the Acoustic Emission Energy. The corrosion rate was increased with the concentrations of the solution increasing from the corrosion process. The corrosion rate was also increased with the sound wave power increases. Therefore in order to achieve the corrosion rate and the position of the defects on the inner surface of the tank non-destructive testing with acoustic emission technique can be factually chosen for this specific application.
