การใช้เศษโฟมเหลือทิ้งจากบรรจุภัณฑ์สำหรับผลิตเป็นแผ่นผนังคอนกรีตสำเร็จรูปน้ำหนักเบา

The objectives of this research are to study the production to find the proper ratio to test the physical mechanical properties and thermal conductivity to suggest the implementation and to transfer the technology of light-weight precast concrete wall panel products mixed with container foam wastes. Design the ratios of Portland cement type1: coarse sand: lime stone: water equal to 1: 2: 4: 0.7 by weight and adding the container foam wastes equal to 0 0.025 0.050 0.075 and 0.1 by weight. Casting the light-weight precast concrete wall panel products by pouring the concrete into the mold which installed the steels. Test the properties follow TIS.2226-2548 and TIS.878-2537. From the results the proper ratio of adding container foam wastes was 0.075 by weight which had perfect general characteristic 16.48 MPa of compressive strength no bending when installed in common behavior 8.86% of water absorption passed type1 of hardness test passed type 2 of impact test 2014.54 kg/m3 of density 4.30 MPa of bending strength and 0.228 watt/m.K of thermal insulation. This light-weight precast concrete wall panel product can use as the thermal insulation wall in building. Moreover the developing product can apply to register the petty patent.

Compressive strength determination of bottom ash mixed with dust stone and portland cement
Compressive strength determination of bottom ash mixed with dust stone and portland cement

This research was to determine the appropriated mixing ratio of bottom ash and admixture (dust rock and Portland cement type 1) for improving the compressive strength. Bottom ash was used instead of soil and the quantities of admixture were 0 2 4 6 8 and 10% by dry weight of bottom ash. The specimens were cured for 7 14 28 and 90 days. Results of compressive strength test show that the admixture of 8% was the best mixing ratio. The increasing primary strength is developed from hydration reaction and the increasing secondary strength at 90 days is developed from pozzolanic reaction. Moreover the compressive strength of this specimen is close to the compressive strength of laterite

Effect of binders on shrinkage cracking behavior of concrete
Effect of binders on shrinkage cracking behavior of concrete

This research was aimed to study the effect of binders on cracking behavior of high strength concrete under restrained shrinkage condition. The cracking behaviors of concrete that study were cracking age in uniaxially restrained shrinkage test shrinkage rate free shrinkage crack propagation and strength of concrete. The binders used in this study were fly ash and limestone powder. The weight percentage of replacement of cement by fly ash and limestone powder were 30 and 10% respectively. The water to binder ratios was 0.35. The results indicated that the influence parameters of shrinkage cracking were type of binder amount of free shrinkage shrinkage rate and tensile creep of concrete. The use of fly ash and limestone powder could reduce free shrinkage and shrinkage rate of concrete and result in the longer cracking age than cement-only concrete. The tensile creep of cement-only concrete was higher than that of limestone powder concrete and fly ash concrete respectively

Utilization of sludge from power plant as cement substitution
Utilization of sludge from power plant as cement substitution

The feasibility of wastewater treatment sludge from the power plant was studied as cement substituted material. The sludge were used as the air dried sample and the oven dried sludge at 300o C. Their properties then the optimum ratio of cement substituted portion for cement block were determined. In the control set; cement sand and water ratio were 1 2.75 and 0.825 (w/w) respectively while the treatment set sludge replacing were varied at 10 20 and 30 %. The blocks were produced and cured in tap water for 7 14 and 28 days and tested their compressive strength. The leaching ability of heavy metals namely Cd Cr Cu and Pb were determined by Waste Extraction Test or WET (according to the standard from the Notification of Ministry of Industry A.D. 2005) and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure; TCLP (US EPA method 1311). The results showed that the solution from cement block curing both of control set treatment block had basicidic pH range 11 – 12 and caused reduction of the heavy metal solubility. The solution conductivity range 5 - 7 mS/cm. The 10% dried sludge cement blocks were the suitable ratio compared with the control set which the maximum compressive strength at 28th day was 253.81 Kg/cm2 and 4.73 % moisture. All metal leaching abilities were less than those Notification and US EPA standard. Those optimum ratios 10 % can be applied to produce cement pot.

การพัฒนาแผ่นใยไม้อัดซีเมนต์จากการประยุกต์ใช้เส้นใยธรรมชาติจากกากมะพร้าวและต้นข้าวโพด

This research aims to study the application of coconut meal and corncob fiber as high density cement-bonded fiberboard. The cement: fine sand: coconut meal and corncob fiber: water ratio is equal to 1: 0.2: 0.05: 0.3. The fibers are taken from coconut meal and corncob that 5 ratios are used to all of fiber mixing. The fiberboard production use casting in normal temperature. Resulting the CN75 ratio (coconut meal and corncob fiber is equal to 0.0125: 0.0375) is suitable ratio which pass TIS 878- 2537 standard (cement bonded particle board) and has good physicalproperties mechanical properties and thermal insulation.
