The aims of this study were developed geopolymer matrix for controlled release amoxicillin antibiotic drug in the in vitro gastric and intestines (pH 1 and pH 6.8 temperature 37 ºC conditions). Three formulations of geopolymer tablets (GeAmSF5 GeAmSF7.5 and GeAmSF10) which different silica fume content were used in this study. Geopolymer tablets were measured compressive strength and characterized by using 3D laser microscope Scanning electron microscope (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The amoxicillin release was analyzed by UV-VIS spectrophotometer. It was found that amoxicillin in geopolymer tablet was more resistance with various extraction solvents (ethanol water 50 oC pH 1 and 12 solutions) than amoxicillin commercial tablet in 2 hours. Moreover the amoxicillin constantly release from geopolymer matrix after 3 hours in both in vitro gastric and intestines. However amoxicillin was more release in gastric than intestines condition due to the strong acid leached aluminum ion causing damages geopolymer structure. Mathematical modeling of amoxicillin release from geopolymer matrix was fitted best with Higuchi model indicating diffusion of the drug out of matrix.

The biosorption of Rhodamine B using modified water hyacinth roots was studied. The adsorption experiments were conducted in a batch setup. Parameters affecting the adsorption of Rhodamine B including pH of a solution adsorption time adsorbent dose and dyes concentration were investigated. With the 80 mg/L Rhodamine B solution of pH 6.0 adsorption time of 60 min and 0.10 g of modified water hyacinth roots the kinetic models pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order kinetic model were applied to examine the kinetic adsorption. The adsorption kinetic data correlates with pseudo-second order kinetic model. The Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models were applied to describe the isotherms and isotherm constants. Adsorption isotherm data correlates with Langmuir adsorption model. The maximum adsorption capacity of modified water hyacinth roots for Rhodamine B was found to be 63 mg/g

The purposes of this research were to 1) investigate the history of Chinese settlement in Phuket 2) examine the culture of Yaya clothing and stitched women’s shoes 3) study the pattern of Yaya clothing and stitched women’s shoes and 4) analyze the suitability of the city circumstance and clothing. The researcher studied the document and the pictures and collected the data by using Non-Participant Observation to observe the behavior of Chinese Violet (Yaya) clothing and stitched women’s shoes in Mueng district Phuket province and conduct in-depth interview with 8 field specialists. Snowball sampling was used to select key informant. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results were found that during the reign of King Rama III and King Rama V Hokkien Chinese from Southern and Eastern China migrated to Phuket by the junk boat. Mining is the major source of income of Chinese in Phuket others are merchandising fishing and agriculture. Most of Chinese got married with other local Thai people. We call them “Baba” for the people of mixed Thai and Chinese heritage. For the culture of Yaya clothing and stitched women’s shoes in Mueng district Phuket province it was found that in the previous days the daily women clothing was the straight- point collar shirt with pleated sleeves and Pateh skirt. In the auspicious occasions women wore long evening gowns and made a high hair bun. Later wearing a long evening gown was adapted to be the short one according to the weather and circumstance and for better movement; Yaya shirt became popular because of its ventilation. Yaya clothing and stitched women’s shoes were designed into various patterns such as animals flowers and plants and nature. Stitched women’s shoes were made from laces or beads. The stitch pattern meant good luck and propitiousness. Both Yaya clothing and stitched women’s shoes were designed by the owners and inherited from generation to generation. For the result of the study about the suitability of the city circumstance and clothing it was found that Yaya clothing is beautiful and unique; however it is not suitable to wear in daily life because it is too thin and easily torn. At present Phuket people cannot stitch the shoes themselves and they have to import them from Penang and Melaka with high price; consequently it is not popular whil high heeled shoes are more popular. Anyway Yaya clothing is conserved and restored to express its uniqueness and it is the strength of Phuket’s tourist attraction. Yaya clothing is back and adapted to changing society culture and circumstance.
Design and development of handy crafts furniture and decorative product, case study : rattan fake
The purposes of this research were to describe fundamental information about design of handy crafts furniture and decorative products from fake rattan to generalize design guideline for handy crafts furniture and decorative products from fake rattan by comparing target needs with the standard formed by Thai Community Product Standard for rattan furniture (TCPS 64/2546) and to determine the most satisfactory design pattern for handy crafts products. The study of demographic data revealed that the male and female respondents are equal and almost of participants are the elder the proprietor and the high level of income and education. The pattern of the handy crafts furniture and decorative products from fake rattan as the following: the most purchasing pattern should be the Aluminum living room sets because of their lightweight stainless weather proof inexpensive anti-termites aesthetic exotic multi-purpose indoor and outdoor usage appropriate price washable and anti-fungal. From this research it can be generalized the design guideline for handy crafts furniture and decorative products from fake rattan.
The study process and format of the reed to develop into the design thai furniture contemporary art
The study the process and the format form of this reed Reed aims to develop products to furniture design in line with the contemporary art Thailand. The study experimental research. Study of processes and Style woven reed Chantaboon. Chanthaburi. Which has a long history. Caused by from direct experience. With features Kok locally grown and therefore environmental factors that contribute to the wisdom. Local culture and the development until the present. Reed led the development of the furniture The research design of this furniture furniture design with a difference. The concept is inspired by the shape. Have been inspired by a lotus petal pattern of Thailand which is a art that reflects the uniqueness of Thailand. The heirloom since ancient .Artists have been inspired and influenced by the natural form of the lotus pattern Thailand. Shapes express feelings the warmth of lines that are curved gently to the beginning of the design classified into three model with a different front where and functional model 1 is the chair and a half sitting half. sleep model 2 is a single chair and model 3 is a table of the available display model that has been most satisfactory. A model that supports the arts and culture of Thailand which shaped the development of the modern era to into the present. In the core of the design model 1 half sitting half reclining chair is a form that is suitable for reed Chantaboon development in furniture design most With the properties of the reed for the bed coverings. This feature is be used to modify the design to accommodate the bed adapted to the surface waves. A smooth curve which can help to massage the back of the sleep to relax and sleep well. Combined with the properties of the reed. It is promoting of Use most benefit.
