การใช้ประโยชน์จากต้นมันสำปะหลังเหลือทิ้งผสมซีเมนต์ สำหรับเป็นแผ่นผนังไม้เทียมเพื่อป้องกันความร้อนภายในอาคาร
This research aims to study the using cassava pit wastes mixed with cement to particle board walls. The Portland cement type1: fine sand: tap water ratio is equal to 1: 0.5: 0.416 by weight. The ratios of cassava pit wastes to cement are used following: 0.05 0.06 0.07 0.08 0.09 and 0.10 by weight. The cassava pit wastes are crushed by plastic plastics granulators (pass sieve no.4). The casting of particle board walls use the compression machine in room temperature (30 – 35 degree of Celsius) and control 0.75 g/cm3 of density. The TIS 878-2537 standard (cement bonded particle board: high density) is followed to test the properties of particle board wall. Resulting the cassava pit wastes mixed with cement can cast to particle board walls and have good properties especially the thermal insulation property.
The study and development of building construction material : wall construction material from para rubber and rice straw to reduce the internal e
This research is a studying and developing building constructing material that is reducing the usage of energy in a building and it is made from rubber and rice straw. This research aims to both improve the economic and raise the energy conservation idea. This research will find the proper building material that is heat resistance. From interviewing the expert the researcher came up with the best formula to produce this heat resistance board. The formula is to add water to the rubber (one part rubber and three parts water) and spay it on a flatted bed of rice straw. Then heat it for one hour in a temperature of one hundred degree Celsius. After that mix in borax to make this material heat and fire resistance. All theses testing; the heat resisting and water absorbing this material has past the standard to be used in an indoor building constructing (มยผ. 8101-51) Department of Public works and town planning Ministry of Interior 2008. From that point on the researchers designed a pattern on the material to add the look for home and building decorating. Therefore they are two sizes of the material; 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.10 meter and 0.60 x 1.20 x 0.10 meter.
The application of kaolin with coconut meal, plywood from corncobs and durian peel in concrete masonry unit wall for increasing effective heat protection and lightweight
This research aims to study the application of kaolin with coconut fiber corncobs fiber and durian peel in concrete masonry unit wall for increasing effective heat protection and lightweight. The ratio of cement type 1: kaolin is equal to 1: 60 by weight. The kaolin is replaced by fiber include coconut fiber corncob fiber durian peel fiber with 1.67% 3.33% and 5% by weight of kaolin. The kaolin concrete block mixed with fiber sample size is formed to 6.9 x 39 x 19 centimeter with the hydraulic compactor. The samples tested in physical and mechanical properties follow the TIS 58-2533 standard. Resulting their fibers can reduce the density thermal conductivity and compressive strength and increase the changing length and water absorption of kaolin concrete blocks. The kaolin concrete block without fiber has highest compressive strength followed by the kaolin concrete block mixed with corn cob fiber the kaolin concrete block mixed with coconut meal fiber and the kaolin concrete block mixed with durian peel fiber has lowest compressive strength respectively. However their fibers have possibility to be composite materials to reduce weight of kaolin concrete blocks
Two-dimensional transient model for prediction of temperature profile at heat pipe wall
Distribution trend of transient temperature profile of copper heat pipe from the start-up of outer wall temperature of evaporator section until the temperature was steady was studied. A two-dimensional model used numerical solution which based on finite difference method. The transient temperature distributions measured in all 3 heat pipe sections were compared with results from the numerical solution of the two-dimensional model that utilized the concept of temperature distribution in the pipe wall during transient operation. Results showed that the experimental trend and the theoretically predicted temperature profiles were similar. Moreover there was good agreement when compared with the numerical simulation of Mistry et al. (2010). Therefore the numerical-validated heat pipe temperature distributions were successfully simulated in a two-dimensional model.
