Short-term training courses are created with a specific purpose to promote increasing skills knowledge and experience for people or groups of people that wants to learn about that subject. An important factor is a policy to drive national development by focusing on 10 target industries consisting of the extension of 5 existing S-curve industries and 5 S-curve future industries. Higher education institutions need to speed up the workforce develop young people to have true knowledge and ability to work and an important force in national development. Training courses are an important tool for higher educated institutions to change develop and modernized courses. From the design and analysis of short training courses providing 4 short-term training courses consisting of 1) Product design and 3D mechanical parts using SolidWorks 2) Advanced Finite Element Application with SolidWorks Simulation 3) Analysis of product and mechanical strength on finite element method using SolidWorks Simulation and 4) Mold design and simulation of plastic injection. Each of the above courses takes 6 hours of training per day. Every course is linked and continuous or must be extended on a sequential basis.

This research aims to increasing efficiency in production and eliminate the problem of insufficient production capacity with respect to customer demand for electrical appliance factory by applying the line balancing method. Thus the study then developed two problem-solving approaches. The first approach is a method by which a firm applies the line balancing concept and ECRS technique (Eliminate Combine Rearrange and Simplify). On the contrary the second approach is required an investment in testing machine with value of 1000000 baht in order to support sufficient production capacity to meet customer demand. Also ECRS method is used to accomplish this process. Based on the results the first approach provided the production line efficiency improvement representing of 82.59% and reduced the labor cost of 277220 baht per year. However the loss of commercial opportunity has remained the same of 6336000 baht per year. Accordingly the second approach demonstrated of 92.11% of the production line efficiency improvement and the labor cost reduction valued of 277220 baht per year. As we expected the second approach satisfied production efficiency by eliminating the loss of commercial opportunity with value of 6336000 baht per year delivering a return of investment within two months.

The purpose of this research is to study the effect of a safety system provided for wall tile external building activity on productivity. The safety system composed of (1) stable scaffolding system (2) providing clean and not slip walkways on the scaffold (3) installation of handrails not less than 0.90 meters in height along sides of the scaffold (4) installing safety nets around outside perimeters of the scaffolding (5) indicating working area (6) installing stairs (7) providing protection for people who works below (8) providing tools and equipments for transporting material which are safe and ready for using and (9) providing personal protective equipment for workers. Cost of the safety system is 79318 baht for a wall tile area of 385 m2 or approximately 206 baht/m2. Productivity rates for prior and after the used of safety system are 1.91 and 1.85 m2/person/day respectively. The productivity declines for approximately 3 %. In addition our study found an impact of work is a height of Building the wall tile external productivity could decrease for 6 %.

The research aimed to analyze and compare contents of accumulated residue of chlorpyrifos chromium lead and cadmium in five varieties of vegetables in Loei River Loei Province. Five varieties of vegetables such as Vegetable fern (Diplazium esculentum Limnocharis flava (L.)) Limnocharis flava (L.) Buch Lasia spinosa (L.) Thwaites swamp cabbge (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk) and water mimosa (Neptunia oleracea Lour.) were collected during winter summer and rainy seasons from Phu Luang Mueang Loei and Chiang Khan District. Chlorpyrifos was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The results showed that the highest chlorpyrifos contents were found in vegetables in winter and summer season in the amount of 0.04±0.00 mg/kg. Analysis of all three heavy metals were carried out dry ashing at 500C and acid digestion with nitric acid prior to analyzing by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS). The results showed that cadmium accumulation in the highest content among all metals in water mimosa (Neptunia oleracea Lour.) in summer season from Phu Luang District (1.83±0.01 mg/kg). The second highest metal content was lead which has found in swamp cabbge (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk) in summer from Mueang Loei District (1.40±0.08 mg/kg). chromium showed the lowest content in Limnocharis flava (L.) Buch in winter from Mueang Loei District (0.47±0.04 mg/kg). The contents of chlorpyrifos and heavy metals were not exceed the legal limits set by International Standard Food and Ministry of Republic Health No.98 of Thailand except Ipomoea aquatica Forsk which collected in summer that showed the lead content higher than the legal limits.
