Dry reforming of methane reaction for hydrogen and syngas production using cobalt catalysts and nickel-cobalt bimetallic catalysts
Dry reforming of methane reaction for hydrogen and syngas production using cobalt catalysts and nickel-cobalt bimetallic catalysts

The cobalt catalysts (cobalt content by weight: 7% 10% and 15%) and cobalt-nickel bimetallic catalysts (cobalt-nickel content by weight: 3.5%-3.5% 5%-5% and 7%-7%) were studied in dry reforming of methane for hydrogen and syngas production. All catalysts were synthesized by the wetness impregnation method. The dry reforming of methane was carried out at 700oC atmosphere pressure using a mixture; CH4 and CO2 in ratio 1:1. The result showed that the good activity and stability depend on metal content in catalysts and the combined 2 metals as bimetallic catalysts. The optimum amounts of catalysts are 10wt% Co for mono-metallic catalysts 75%CH4 and 75%CO2 conversion and 7wt% Ni-7wt% Co for bimetallic catalysts 87%CH4 and 89%CO2 conversion.

The operation model for highland development of the royal project that can lead to development of highland in thailand
The operation model for highland development of the royal project that can lead to development of highland in thailand

The objectives of this research are to study the operation model for highland development of the Royal Project the model of knowledge extension to the farmers the result of operation to the farmers by the Royal Project and studying of the effective factor of the Royal Project development. This research is use the quantitative by collecting the data by interviewing. The result of the research there are 7 important models of development by the Royal Project to the farmer on the highland; (1) the operation procedures (2) operation plan (3) Format of operations (4) Officers in the center and in the area (5) Values and corporate culture (6) The farmer in the area and (7) Potential of the area. For the knowledge extension to the farmers the advice/visiting to the farmers is in top level. The “support/facilitation to the farmers” there are a purchasing the goods and agricultural products and product quality development in very high level. And the result of operations the Royal Project to the farmers resulting in economy the higher income and increasing the asset in high level the liabilities decreased moderately. In the social the farmers are developing at the high level in every topic. It is shown that the resulting in operation of the Royal Project can help in social development. And in the environmental there is an increasing of a conservation of the upstream area in very high level. The factors that effect to the result of operation by the Royal Project in economy social and environmental are depended on the model of operation support/facilitation and the quality of the officers in the Royal Project.

Effects of water content and cooking time on chemical composition structureand properties of germinated purple rice (oryza sativa var. glutinosa) flour
Effects of water content and cooking time on chemical composition structureand properties of germinated purple rice (oryza sativa var. glutinosa) flour

The purpose of this research is to estimate the affects of water content (27 37 and 47 % wet basis) cooking time (1 3 and 5 hr) at 110oC and germinating time (24 36 and 48 hr) on chemical composition structure and properties of germinated purple rice flour. A Box-Behnken design under the response surface methodology was performed to optimize their composition. Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Nan was research place. Results demonstrated that germinating time had no significantly effect on protein and lipid content but resulted in increasing crude fiber and decreasing carbohydrate and amylose content with increase in germinating time. Scanning electron micrographs (SEM) revealed the presence of polyhedral shape and agglomerations. Birefringence was evidenced. Pasting properties of germinated purple rice flour showed an increase in the pasting temperature but a decrease the peak viscosity breakdown final viscosity and setback (p<0.05) as germinating time increased. Modified rice flour were increase in carbohydrate and amylose content and decrease in protein lipid ash and fiber as water content and cooking time at 110oC increased. Change in birefringence of starch granule after heating at 110oC was examined by a polarized light microscope. SEM showed the presence of creak surfaces and agglomerations. The swelling power of germinated purple rice flour decreased with increase in cooking time. The solubility at 85oC of germinated purple rice flour was increased in each level of water content.

Evaluation of genetic variation of neolissochilus stracheyi wild populations in the nan river watershed using microsatellite dna markers
Evaluation of genetic variation of neolissochilus stracheyi wild populations in the nan river watershed using microsatellite dna markers

This study evaluated the genetic diversity of two natural populations of Neolissochilus stracheyi in Nan River watershed Amphoe Bokluea (BK) and Amphoe Mae Jarim (MJ). We analyzed microsatellite markers originally developed for Tor tambroides (Nguten et al. 2009). Three out of five microsatellite loci analyzed were polymorphic . Genetic variation within BK and MJ populations were not different. The number of allele per locus and allelic richness averaged over three loci was 2.33 and 2.67 for BK and MJ respectively. Observed heterozygosity value was 0.50 and 0.56 and the average expected heterozygosity was 0.41 and 0.53 for BK and MJ respectively. In addition the two populations were genetically distinct (P<0.05) and geographic isolation of two locations may explain this genetic pattern.

Effect of the lycopene fortification from gac fruit (momordica cochinchinensis spreng) on quality of chicken nuggets product
Effect of the lycopene fortification from gac fruit (momordica cochinchinensis spreng) on quality of chicken nuggets product

The objective of this research was to study the effect of lycopene fortification from gac fruit (Momordica cochinchinensis Spreng) in different levels (1 1.5 2 %) compared with standard formula and addition of BHT 100 ppm on physical properties and consumer acceptance of chicken nuggets product. The analysis showed that the sensorial evaluation of nuggets chicken fortification at 2 % lycopene had accepted overall liking score in range like moderately to like very much (p>0.05) of chicken nuggets. Antioxidant activity using by DPPH and total phenol content were the highest (14.04% and 4.43 mgGAE/g) significantly. Furthermore also found that adding powder lycopene levels had the ability to retard oxidation activities similar BHT 100 ppm after storage at 4 C for a period of one month and inhibit the rancidity effective a 2-fold compared to control.
