The purposes of Design Project of Business Party Costume for Women inspired by Sino- Portuguese architecture are to study Sino-Portuguese architectural structures in Phuket to study costume design works in 2011-2012 and to create five Business Party costumes for women inspired by Sino-Portuguese architecture. Sino-Portuguese architecture has remarkable structures and styles combining western architecture with eastern styles. In Thailand this style is mostly found in buildings and houses in the southern region and the best preserved buildings are in Phuket. The mixture of classic renaissance and neo-classic styles was well combined with Sino-Thai Art making it significant and distinctive. Nowadays these constructions are regarded as conserved buildings. Therefore the author designed Business Party costumes for women which can be worn to work and also for special occasions resulting in saving time and money. The idea for working women costume design was influenced by Sino-Portuguese architectural features adding more various patterns and styles of costume. For analyzing the method of descriptive analysis of Sino-Portuguese architecture was used dividing criteria into four analytical aspects focusing on physical features and analyzing sample pictures of the architecture to create the costumes. In conclusion according to the study in Sino-Portuguese architecture it can be summarized that Sino-Portuguese architecture is not only the combination between western and eastern architectural styles. This combination was influenced by English Dutch (Dutch or Holland now is Netherland) Portuguese (Portugal) and French styles. However all of them were originated from Greek and Roman. Sino-Portuguese architecture in Phuket is similar to those in Penang. It can be said that Phuket and Penang at that time were sister cities and the decoration styles in Phuket were influenced and changed over time. As for the costume design the clothes were designed to be worn for many occasions for example it can be worn to work then go for special occasion without changing. The design aimed to be comfortable beautiful in patterns and ornaments and easy to wear as well as time-saving.

The costume design Avant-Garde style by development to actually wesable aims to study and adapt basic concepts of Avant- Garde costume design in order to develop and apply for developing a unique outstanding and fashionable costume which was inspired by the natural protection of armadillos. For the method of study I had done a research concerning patterns of Avant-Garde costume and the self-mechanism of armadillos so that I can apply it in my design and make it wearable in real life. As the result the pattern of Avant-Garde costume has distinctive feature in its unique figure and materials which can be furthered in designing Avant-Garde costume. Moreover the pattern can be used as a guide for the practical and fashionable patternjs adjustment. From my study I have found that combining details and main features of Avant-Garde costume and armadillos together will bring the success. Because designing practical Avant-Garde costume it will have to compose those details and features in order to get numerous forms of pattern but still be in Avant-Garde style. And that will be another advancement of Avant-Garde fashion.

Objective To study the pattern Kaleidoscope Ladies Clothes Ready-to-wear used as inspiration in designing clothes. By incorporating the concept of fashion design to achieve an attractive design for ages. Study. And analyze data related to the Kaleidoscope pattern is in the database to create a design inspired clothing Ready-to- wear. Tools used in the study is a descriptive analysis. Dead Lake is analyzed. Divided by the second analysis focusing on the physical characteristics of the Kaleidoscope pattern. Patterned and structured format. To be used as database design clothes Ready-to-Wear. The study resulted in ladies clothing inspired by the patterns of Kaleidoscope. The study design and data analysis related to Kaleidoscope. In terms of the pattern of Kaleidoscope. The purpose of the project is to study and design a collection which bring the idea from dressing of Cleo Pathra in a movie named “Cleo Pathra” 1963 to applied for create outfits that wearable in daily life. By brought an identity of the way she wears the outfit in the movie. The result of study divided into 2 sections a form of dressing and color and technique. Was found that most of the outfit is rather simply fit and also techniques . Therefore this collection was brought those ideas to created and developed into ultramodern form. According to the result of studied and information about design and women wear to analyze the way to solve a problem. I density and obviously style fit with personality and wearable. Which emphasizing the adjustment to create a new form and the principle is simplicity style to designed to correspond with the idea. In order this study provides the fascinating and up- to-date dresses.

The objective of this fashion thesis was to study womens clothing design in party wear style inspired by Thai Lacquer Art (Lai Rod Nam) in Ayutthaya era. The outstanding points of Ayutthaya era’s Lacquer Art: appearance and pattern of lacquer decorating Tripitaka cabinet were applied in connection to Khon costumes to create and design womens clothing in elegant and tasteful party wear style. The instruments included Ayutthaya era’s Lacquer Art analysis form consisting of layout and pattern placement and color use Khon costumes analysis form consisting of costumes layout focusing on physical nature and overall work analysis. The results of this study showed as follows. The author applied Thai Lacquer Art pattern decorating Tripitaka cabinet in Ayutthaya era including Kanok Pleaw Kanok Ruang Khao Pun Pruksa and pattern in animal figures to redesign and reorganize the work. Digital printing technique was use to press the pattern on the fabric to be applied to Khon costumes structure. This study focused on the design and development of clothing that is modern while remains the identity of Thai Lacquer Art.
