This research aims to produce scrap page kaolin of brick construction. The kaolin clay ratio of 100: 0 80:20 60:40 50:50 40:60 20:80 and 0: 100 by volume Add mixed with rice husk and rice 15 percent by weight A total of seven ratios. According to standard tests or TIS. 77-2545 ordinary story brick building. The moisture content and water absorption is increasing. While density Thermal conductivity resistance flexural and compressive strength tends to decrease. The best ratio of 80:20 by volume with compressive strength 43.16 kg / cm 2 and 24.93 percent water absorption. Criteria standard of TIS. 77-2545 requiring compressive strength not less than 35 kg / cm2 and water absorption must not be higher than 25 percent. Can be used in the manufacture of brick construction including building decorative wall can be developed into products. Because skin color and beautiful

The ORC power plant is a promising technology to generate electricity from low-temperature heat sources. However implementation of the ORC for low capacity electricity generation is unattractive at the commercial level. Scroll compressors are massively produced to be used in refrigeration and air-conditioning applications. Using a scroll compressor in reverse as an expander can reduce the investment cost of low-capacity ORC power plants. In this study 2 scroll compressors that are available in the automotive air-conditioning market of Thailand were modified and used as the expander of a 1 kW ORC power plant. The performances of these 2 scrolls were compared and the plant performance was investigated. A heat source temperature from 100°C to 150°C was supplied to the plant. It was found that the gross power is higher by 18-35% for the larger expander (110 cc/rev) than for the smaller expander (85.7 cc/rev). The larger one provides the isentropic efficiency of 37-76% and the gross power of 806-1926 W. In addition the effects of check valve installation were examined and compared with those of the tests without check valve installation. It was revealed that the isentropic efficiency increases by 18% while the gross power decreases by 4-22% when the check valve was installed.

นวัตกรรมคอนกรีตมวลเบาแบบเซลลูล่าด้วยการใช้วัสดุเหลือทิ้ง

This research presents a study of the compressive strength tensile strength flexural strength and water absorption of Cellular Lightweight Concrete containing fine fly ash and ground bagasse ash. Portland cement (CT) is partially replaced with pozzolans 20 30 and 40% by weight of the cementitious materials. The results show that the compressive strength tensile strength flexural strength and low water absorption of Cellular Lightweight Concrete improves substantially with partial replacement of Portland cement with fly ash and bagasse ash. Cellular Lightweight Concrete mix cement containing 20 and 30% of pozzolans can be used to make cementitious materials. In addition the use of fly ash and ground bagasse ash produces Cellular Lightweight Concrete mix with good compressive strength tensile strength flexural strength and water absorption.

Compressive strength determination of bottom ash mixed with dust stone and portland cement
Compressive strength determination of bottom ash mixed with dust stone and portland cement

This research was to determine the appropriated mixing ratio of bottom ash and admixture (dust rock and Portland cement type 1) for improving the compressive strength. Bottom ash was used instead of soil and the quantities of admixture were 0 2 4 6 8 and 10% by dry weight of bottom ash. The specimens were cured for 7 14 28 and 90 days. Results of compressive strength test show that the admixture of 8% was the best mixing ratio. The increasing primary strength is developed from hydration reaction and the increasing secondary strength at 90 days is developed from pozzolanic reaction. Moreover the compressive strength of this specimen is close to the compressive strength of laterite

Effect of binders on shrinkage cracking behavior of concrete
Effect of binders on shrinkage cracking behavior of concrete

This research was aimed to study the effect of binders on cracking behavior of high strength concrete under restrained shrinkage condition. The cracking behaviors of concrete that study were cracking age in uniaxially restrained shrinkage test shrinkage rate free shrinkage crack propagation and strength of concrete. The binders used in this study were fly ash and limestone powder. The weight percentage of replacement of cement by fly ash and limestone powder were 30 and 10% respectively. The water to binder ratios was 0.35. The results indicated that the influence parameters of shrinkage cracking were type of binder amount of free shrinkage shrinkage rate and tensile creep of concrete. The use of fly ash and limestone powder could reduce free shrinkage and shrinkage rate of concrete and result in the longer cracking age than cement-only concrete. The tensile creep of cement-only concrete was higher than that of limestone powder concrete and fly ash concrete respectively
