Evaluation technique for northern corn leaf blight resistance and identification of resistance genes position in maize with dna markers
Evaluation technique for northern corn leaf blight resistance and identification of resistance genes position in maize with dna markers

This study aims to develop a new evaluation technique for Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB) resistance in maize under greenhouse condition. Ki48/Ki47 F2 (160 lines) and 2 commercial verities (Hi-Brix3 and Insee2) were evaluated. For this technique 10-14 day old seedlings (4-5 leaves) were sprayed with ACIL1 spore suspension (104spores/ml.) for infection. The results of this technique correlated with the results from the common technique under field condition which used 21-25 days old seedlings (6-7 leaves) (correlation value = 0.658). This evaluation technique was used to assist in QTL mapping of NCLB resistance. Population of Ki48/Ki47 F2 (160 lines) were analyzed for QTL mapping by using Simple Sequence Repeats (SSR) markers. It was found that major parental polymorphism located on chromosome 5 and chromosome 8. When Single QTL analysis was performed SSR marker UMC1365 could clearly indentified qualitative trait loci on chromosome 5 and SSR markers UMC1095 UMC1268 and UMC2356 could clearly indentified qualitative trait loci on chromosome 8.

The establishment and evaluation of graduates competence in the programme of bachelor of science in industrial education (mechanical engineering)
The establishment and evaluation of graduates competence in the programme of bachelor of science in industrial education (mechanical engineering)

The research objectives were to establish and evaluate the graduates competence in the programme of bachelor of science in industrial education (mechanical engineering) of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. The research tools were functional map by 12 specialists. Data inspection of quality by finding specialists ‘s index of consistency (IOC). The data was analyzed by statistic as percentage and F-test. Population groups were 55 students of the fifth year. The research results were as following 1) The establishment of the graduates competence consisted of 1 key purpose 2 key roles 6 key functions 25 units of competence and 423 elements of competence. 2) The evaluation of the graduates competence by using theory test as following : The units of competence of applied teaching were score average 63.12% basic mechanic and applied mechanic were score average 63.99% automotive technology were score average 63.07%. As the result of F-test that the testers of 3 units of competence were difference at significance level 0.05.

Construction and efficiency evaluation of experiment set for work-piece analysis based on various cutting edge parameters of punch-die
Construction and efficiency evaluation of experiment set for work-piece analysis based on various cutting edge parameters of punch-die

This research aims to construct and evaluate efficiency of experiment set for work-piece analysis based on variety of cutting edge parameters of punch-die. The parameters included clearance punch shape and inclination of punch edge that related to cutting force error in diameter and deformation of work-piece. The developed experimental set was evaluated by 15 experts using 5-point scale questionnaire which was divided into two parts: content and worksheet and experiment set design. The efficiency evaluation was done by using the experiment set to teach a sample group of 15 students. Results showed that quality of the proposed experiment set was in the highest level with average score of 4.65 (SD = 0.47). The efficiency evaluation by teaching a sample student group revealed that the efficiency was 85.43/84.00 which was higher than the criteria of 80/80 in research hypothesis. Therefore it can be concluded that the constructed experiment set could be used to enhance students’ analytical thinking in punch-die work.

Fatigue life evaluation of a closed-loop oscillating heat-pipe with check valves (CLOHP/CV) at operated temperature
Fatigue life evaluation of a closed-loop oscillating heat-pipe with check valves (CLOHP/CV) at operated temperature

This study evaluates the fatigue life of a closed-loop oscillating heat-pipe with check valves (CLOHP/CV). The method was predicting the fatigue life of the copper tube to apply for the CLOHP/CV. The fatigue test was carried out by using the specimens made of copper tube (C1220) at the temperature of 293 (room temperature) 473 and 573 K. The three types of hourglass shaped specimen included uniform type one-wave type and two-wave type specimens. It was found that the effect was a direct extension of material structures of specimen and hourglass shaped. It can be said that the number of cycles to failure (Nf) of the two-wave type specimen hourglass shaped specimen was rather sensitive to fatigue motion during testing and the temperature of 573 K has the greatest failure impact.

Evaluation of curriculum for the bachelor of science program in computer technology of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon

The purpose of this study was to Evaluation of Curriculum for the Bachelor of Science Program in Computer Technology of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The CIPP Model was used as evaluated model. The samples in this research were 125 undergraduates 14 Instructors 17 graduates and 11 employers of graduates. The 4 questionnaires of rating scales was used as the research instrument. Percentage mean standard deviation were statistical method to analyze data. The results were as follows: 1. The samples agreed with the Context Evaluation in the aspect of curriculum objectives curriculum structure curriculum content were in moderate levels. 2. The samples agreed with the Input Evaluation in the aspect of Characteristics of undergraduates and Characteristics of instructors were in high levels supporting education was in moderate levels. 3.The samples agreed with the Process Evaluation in the aspect of curriculum Management. teaching Management experience training were in high levels . 4 . The sample’s satisfaction towards Input Evaluation in the aspect of professional knowledge and Professional Characteristics were in moderate levels Ethics was in high levels .
