The objectives of this research1) to study demand on the short-term training courses in Home Economics. (Arts and Crafts) of housewife group from Samut-Songkram province2) to compare such demand from each demographic criteria; age average household monthly income educational status and number of family members3) to study usage of local natural materials from the studied group.The sampling group was 241 housewives from Samut-Songkram province which were chose by Stratified Sampling method. Questionnaires were used as tool for analyzing the statistic figures;frequency percentage mean standard deviation one way ANOVA and Multiple comparison test by Scheffe’s method The results showed that1) Demand on the short-term training courses in Home Economics (Arts and Crafts) of housewife from Samut-Songkram province group was in high level with an average 3.57)2) Comparing such demand from each demographic criteria; age was statistically significant at .05 level while average household monthly income educational status and number of family members were not statistically significant. 3) The local natural materials used from the studied group were coconut palms banana trees Sesbania Namnam tree (Cynometra cauliflora L.) Suicide tree and water hyacinth.

This research is a pre-experiment research of one-shot case study type. The objective is to study the effect of training program on Art crafts in Banbangkhae Social Welfare Development Center for the elderly. The target populations are 15 voluntarily elder persons residing in Banbangkhae Social Welfare Development Center Sooksan Building in 2010 who have been selected by the center officials. The Elders are in good physical health and able to participate in the activities. Tool used is a training program on Art crafts for the elderly consisting of Performance Skill Measurement Forms and Satisfaction Questionnaires. Data analysis is descriptive statistics. The results of the research are that: 1) Performance skill scores of the elderly are in a good level. 2) Their satisfactions to participate in the training on the aspects of the lecturer date and time of the training materials and equipments activities topics of training are in a high level.

The research aimed to study and develop handicraft products from elephant dung paper for community income generation in Ayutthaya province and to compare the product satisfaction of the target group for the original style and the new one of elephant dung paper The target group eas from 143 tourists from other provinces and 143 of local tourists. Both of target groups would like to but handicraft products from elephant dung paper and helped generate community income in Ayutthaya province. Research tool eas done by questionnaire and data were analyzed by statistically percentage mean and mode. Questionnaire was used for the product attributes satisfacion avaluation of the target grouq including alternative evaluation process and comparison of product styles evaluation process. Data were analyzed by statistically percentage.mean and t-test dependent sample The results of were foun as follows: 1. The target group chose the third style of handicraft products from elephant dung paper 2. For the product attributs satisfaction of the target group it was found that the new style of hansicraft prosuct was more acceptable than the oniginal one at a significance level of 0.05.

The Products Development of Crafting Herbal Soap Carved for OTOP Of Tambon Prakhonchai Amphur Prakhonchai Burirum Province” aims to study the development of the Herbal Soap Carved products which made from a household waste soap by applying to indigenous..knowledge. This research is both a quality and quantity research. Data were collected gathering related documents and researches.Then developed new formula for soap carving. The 5 developed formula of soap was tested and comments by experts . The product of soap carvings has 3 herbal scent lemongrass-scent Kaffir- scent and Lemon- scent. Using the Survey Research method. The target group of 100 people. The tool was used in collecting information. consisted of The 5 formulas of soap product 5 sets and the questionnaires 2 sets sets 1 for professionals include questionnaires about physical properties of soap scented of soap which suited for crave products. Analyzed by using a statistical average and the open of the answer.
