Air Car
Air Car

Nowadays energy conservation is widely recognized due to fuel crisis. Petroleum is one of the primary energy used in various aspects especially by factories which consume energy at very high rate. Air pollution has been caused for this reason. Lots of industrial sectors have paid attention to this problem and have found out in different ways to manage it. The purpose of this work was to apply compressed air energy which is zero emission energy as an alternative energy instead of fossil energy. This energy was used in a prototype small three-wheeler powered by an impact wrench. The vehicle carried two tanks of 10 liters of air which pressure is 90 bars. The three-wheeler used chains and gears to transmit power to wheels. The gear increased torque ratio of the impact wrench. An air valve was controlled by a sling-controlling lever. On rear wheel hub 3-speed gear was fitted to enable the car move conveniently according to speed of motor and road condition. Test results showed that air car could move with the maximum speed of 21.4 km/hr and the farthest distance of 1917 meters. The longest period of time which the car could move was about 5-6 minutes. The highest torque produced by impact wrench was 2.323 Nm at rotating speed of 3400 rpm. It was also found that between the rotating speed of 2000 and 4000 rpm the impact wrench produced the best performance and this is a good condition to be chosen for further research and development for maximum efficiency.

A Smart Mobile PV-Wind Hybrid System Prototype for isolated electrification
A Smart Mobile PV-Wind Hybrid System Prototype for isolated electrification

This paper presents the design and construction of a Mobile PV-Wind-Battery-Diesel Hybrid System Prototype for isolated electrification. The system includes a real-time monitoring system and a control unit which can control all components automatically. The design uses a short calculation method and then simulated by Homer program. The mobile unit is considered as a mobility utility for remote areas therefore the unit is constructed in a container unit which can be able to be transferred comfortably. The design has the components as : PV 2 kWp Wind turbine 1 kW Battery 24 kWh and Diesel Generator 5kW. From a long experiment the system can operate as the design and it is working stably to supply power to the load. The paper will describe fully for the design construction monitored data and analysis.

Main Causes and Prevention of Occupational Slipping Tripping and Falling in Thailand
Main Causes and Prevention of Occupational Slipping Tripping and Falling in Thailand

The purpose of this study was aimed to identify the main causes and prevention of occupational slipping tripping and falling in Thailand. The results revealed that number of the accidents caused by the occupational slipping tripping and falling was high ranked of all occupational accidents in every worldly part. This study consisted of 6 operational processes. Firstly it involved seeking for statistic data and information about number of the accidents the Office of Social Security 2008. Secondly analysis of most frequently-occurred businesses in Thailand was performed. Thirdly survey planning was established by which the questionnaires were instrumental to gather data and interviewing was carried out with those concerned personnel. Fourthly selecting the survey site and lastly analysis and conclusion was made to identify the causes of the accidents as well as recommendation on prevention of the accidents. The results indicated that the causes of problem consisted of the three following factors; personnel work-associated equipments and tools and workplace environment. For personnel factor the workers were inadvertent while on duty low educated lacked of experience and safety skill training seniority drunkard or drug addicted. Regarding to work-associated equipments and tools the workers did not wear the preventive equipments safety helmet safety shoes or working barefooted. Regarding to workplace environment the ground were blocked wet and rough including the climate in wet season from the month of May to October. There were no sign or warning sign of danger. It’s suggested that the preventive action for accidents included providing the appropriate training before real performance prohibiting the alcoholic beverage dirking or the use of illicit drug. Some behaviors should be modified for examples; the elder workers should be put in the job that is lesser in risk. Consciousness and campaign on safety should be urged. It should invest on safety equipments and safety shoes; including inspecting the ground and installing the easily visual sign or warning sign in risky area.

A System Dynamics Model to Analyze Behavior of Manufacturing in Supply Chain
A System Dynamics Model to Analyze Behavior of Manufacturing in Supply Chain

This research offers. The system dynamics study of supply chain processes in the manufacturing industry. The production is made-up of make to order from the building stock and flow with the fourth cycle and parameters define to test the behavior by using Vensim program to simulation situation by the time 50 weeks showed that the response to increases in the order of 20% in the production process made the amplification behavior. The process resulted in levels of inventory bog down. The reduction of inventory conflicts with the desire to keep the inventory caused by delays of customer change. The organizational behavior is not balance the products backlog and made the level of order fulfillment ratio lower than 100%

Speed Control System Design in Bicycle Robot by Low Power Method
Speed Control System Design in Bicycle Robot by Low Power Method

This paper presents compare results performance between two conventional controllers for bicycle robot. The bicycle speed control system was a highly nonlinear model multivariable and absolutely unstable. It has used for testing various design control techniques for low power. The objectives of this paper had to developed speed control which derived the mechanic model and experiment. Controllers are Proportional-Integral-Derivatives (PID) and on-off dynamic control. The dynamic system which also includes not stable friction effects the linear zed system model is used as a basis for the design to apply to speed. Computer simulation and experiment have been done controller are capable to control output speed wheel control system successfully. The results show PID controller better then on-off dynamic controller.
