A comparative study of the costs and returns of barramundi culture in ponds, brackish and salt water. a case study sea bass cultue in prachuap khiri khan province
A comparative study. The purpose was to study the costs and the cost of return. Comparative analysis of the difference between revenue and the cost of return breakeven Between brackish and salt water fish white snapper. This study used data from interviews with of 24 cases. The period 6% of Interest rate of study 5-year. - A study of the brackish cost per acre was 355127.00 baht Salt water 31556.34 baht cost was 850784.15 baht Salt water 788305.00 baht Income yield 1914250.00 baht. and Salt water 1908750.00 baht. the cost according to the net present value (NPV) were positive value equal 620881.68 baht Salt water 628974.65 baht and the internal rate of return (IRR) 16.95% Salt water 17.45 % with a payback period of 1 year 9 months 6 days Salt water 1year 8 months 4 days and the breakeven point is equal to 96529.25 baht Salt water 86643.80 Baht. - The salt water yield worthwhile than brackish water.
Effects of cryoprotectants on qualities of dorab wolf-herring gel and fish balls
The objectives of this study was to evaluate effects of cryoprotectants on Dorab wolf herring gel qualities using sucrose (3 and 6%) with sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP 0.3%) as cryoprotectants at 0 3 and 6 freeze-thaw cycle (-18 C 18 hr. freezing and 5 C 6 hr. thawing). The results showed that added 3 and 6% sucrose in combination with 0.3% STPP to washed minced fish resulted in whiter gel than washed minced fish with no cryoprotectants and unwashed minced fish at 0 3 and 6 freeze-thaw cycles (P0.05). Besides expressible moisture of washed minced fish with cryoprotectants added was found lower than washed minced fish with no cryoprotectants and unwashed minced fish at 0 3 and 6 freeze-thaw cycle (P 0.05). Textural properties i.e. washed minced fish with cryoprotectants gel strength (breaking force g) was higher than washed minced fish with no cryoprotectants at 0 freeze-thaw cycle but gel elasticity (deformation cm.) was not statistically different (P>0.05).
The effect of using fishes condensate as feed containing on rearing of climbing perch (anabas testudineus bloch)
The experiment on using of different levels fishes condensate as feed contain in climbing perch (Anabas testudineus Bloch). To study on growth rate (SGR) feed conversion ratio (FCR) protein efficiency ratio (PER) and survival rate of climbing perch. The diets contained 40% protein and 3200 Kcal/Kg (DE) in all formulas with varying levels ; 0 25 50 and 75% of fishes condensate replacement of fish meal respectively and compared with pellet feed (formula 5). The diets were given for 10 weeks to fish which the initial average weight were 4.43+0.14 g. The result showed that the SGR FCR PER and survival rate of climbing perch was 25 percentage of fishes condensate (formula 2) gave highest growth performance as SGR 0.72+0.16 (%/day) and PER 1.12+0.22 were significantly different (p<0.05) with 0 75 and 50% respectively but not significantly different from the control feed (formula 5). All of the feed formulas showed no effect on survival rate (p>0.05).
South east asia travel destination and travel motivation of tourists
The objectives of this research were to study the travel destination in South East Asia and travel motivation of European tourists. Survey research methodology was exploited by distributing questionnaires to sample group of 400 tourists which 198 were returned. Then descriptive statistic parameters including frequencies percentages means standard deviations and inferential statistics included a t-test one-way ANOVA Person’s Correlation Coefficients and Cronbach’s Alpha were employed to analyze the data with .05 significance level. The result of the research reveal that the first 5 tourist destination ranking of South East Asia country were Thai Vietnam Cambodia Indonesia and Malaysia. The result indicated that there are non-significant differences in both of travel motivation mean of European tourist which result also found the significant relationship between push and pull motivation.
Evaluation of genetic variation of neolissochilus stracheyi wild populations in the nan river watershed using microsatellite dna markers
This study evaluated the genetic diversity of two natural populations of Neolissochilus stracheyi in Nan River watershed Amphoe Bokluea (BK) and Amphoe Mae Jarim (MJ). We analyzed microsatellite markers originally developed for Tor tambroides (Nguten et al. 2009). Three out of five microsatellite loci analyzed were polymorphic . Genetic variation within BK and MJ populations were not different. The number of allele per locus and allelic richness averaged over three loci was 2.33 and 2.67 for BK and MJ respectively. Observed heterozygosity value was 0.50 and 0.56 and the average expected heterozygosity was 0.41 and 0.53 for BK and MJ respectively. In addition the two populations were genetically distinct (P<0.05) and geographic isolation of two locations may explain this genetic pattern.
