The purposes of the research were to study and investigate the relationship between the role perception in Home Economics profession of students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology and personal and supporting factors. The personal factor consisted of gender year level academic achievement and department. Supporting factor consisted of knowledge experience in Home Economics profession attitude towards Home Economics profession and students’ participation in professional activities. Researchers used stratified random sampling to obtain a sample population of 318 bachelor’s degree students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. Research tools were a questionnaire and a test. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The results were found that the role perception in Home Economics profession of students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology was at the high level. There was a significant relationship between the role perception in Home Economics profession of students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology and year level department attitude towards Home Economics profession and students’ participation in professional activities at the 0.05 level. There was not a significant relationship between the role perception in Home Economics profession of students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology and gender academic achievement and knowledge and experience in Home Economics profession.

This research aimed to study 1) the demand for short-term vocational training courses in home economics 2) create a training curriculum of home economics profession short of demand. The objectives of this research are to study and compare the problems of studying of Home Economics Profession Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The study is divided into Problems of students education administration academic students affairs and the environment in the university. The independent variables in this study are gender year level department and students’ achievement. The sample were 381 of students who studying in the first academic year of 2014 The sample were taken from a stratified random sampling and collecting data by using questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The findings found that the overall problems was at the low level at the mean score of 2.37. The problems area of students were at the low level at the mean score of 2.32. The problems area of education administration were at the low level at the mean score of 2.40. The problems area of academic were at the low level at the mean score of 2.23. The problems area of student affairs were at the low level at the mean score of 2.35 and the problems area of environment in the university were at the moderate level at the mean score of 2.55. After comparing all the problems of studying with the independent variable; gender department and students’ achievement it was found that the difference was not significant. year level of studying were significant at the level of 0.05

Thailand has become a member of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) which aims to stimulate economic growth social progress sociocultural evolution and also cooperation among its members. The main goal of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is to transform the region into a single market and production base to become more stable and prosperous. Hence in order to prepare ourselves to the changes in a very near future it is essential to encourage and support students to improve their working skills and knowledge to enter the ASEAN community confidently. In order to examine on the acknowledgement and the preparation in terms of working skill for ASEAN undergraduate students in the first year of Food Service Industry Program were chosen by using purposive sampling. Fifty-five questionnaires were collected. The result shows that most of the students at 75.47 percent are female 52.83 percent of them are eighteen years old and 43.39 percent use internet regularly. The evaluation on students’ knowledge capability and working experience which are considered to be beneficial for entering the ASEAN community shows that most of the students are very well prepared in both personality and potential. Moreover the majority are also very well educated about ASEAN in terms of economic growth social progress sociocultural evolution. The research also analyzed on the differences on gender of the students and channel of the resources about ASEAN that may have an impact on their knowledge and potential. The result shows that there are no significant differences between each gender and channel (P ≤ 0.05).

Objectives of this research are to study comparison of the attitude and interest of the training course in Thai culinary Training for trainees in Juvenile Vocational Training Center using ages educational status and time of training as comparison criteria. Sample group was 254 trainees in the Juvenile Vocational Training Center which were chosen by stratified sampling method. Questionnaires were used as the tool to analyze frequency percentage means and standard deviation One-way ANOVA and multiple comparison test by Scheffe’s method were used.
