Dye effluent treatment with photocatalytic technique and adsorption process had an objective for studying the combination process between Titanium dioxide and activated carbon from dye effluent. The dye effluents were prepared from the direct dye reactive dye acid dye disperse dye and basic dye. The effluent dyes from the completely dyeing process at 1 % owf initially. All of dye structures were azo. From the study direct dye and reactive were successfully using combination process between photocatalytic technique and adsorption process whereas disperse dye favored in adsorption process. However acid dye and basic were ignored in this experiment cause of they were a bit of dye concentration in their effluent. The optimum condition for direct dye was 10g/l Titanium dioxide for 6 hours and 5 g/l activated carbon for 6 hours continuously. Reactive dye was performed in continuous condition as 10g/l Titanium dioxide for 6 hours and 10 g/l activated carbon for 6 hours. Disperse dye was the particular process in adsorption by activated carbon 15 g/l for 4 hours. It was summarized that the treatment of photocatalytic technique and adsorption process were upon on the type of dye.

The study is on “Satisfaction to Marketing Communication Tools : A Case Study of Business Organization of the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personal (BOWT)”. The aims of the study were (1) to study the level of exposition on education information as well as the level of satisfaction of marketing communication tools of BOWT (2) to compare the satisfaction towards marketing communication tools of BOWT among groups with different demographic characteristics and (3) to study the relationship between the exposition of education information and the satisfaction towards marketing communication tools of BOWT. The method of data collection had been carried out through questionnaire survey. The sampling groups consist of 400 teachers professors and instructors. The findings showed that the sampling groups received information on education at the moderate level. The highest exposition level is on general education information followed by information on production and distribution of BOWT goods and general information respectively. The satisfaction towards marketing communication tools in general was rated as “high”. For different marketing communication tools the highest level of satisfaction was rated on sale representatives who gave any information at the ( ง ) point of purchase of BOWT. The high level was rated on leaflets and catalogues. The low level was rated on newsletter or “Suksapan News” which was sent through postal mails. Moreover it was found that certain factors include age level of education employment duration office agencies/units and monthly income affected the satisfaction towards marketing communication tools with statistical significance at 0.05 level. The overall information exposition was in line with the satisfaction towards marketing communication tools at the “high” level. Also it was found that marketing communication tools through website (www.suksapan.or.th) poster / banner leaflet / catalogue newsletter of “Suksapan News” BOWT training programs and public relation news affected the exposition of education information in 3 areas i.e. general education information production and distribution of BOWT products and other general information. The marketing communication through sale representatives of BOWT affected the exposition of education information in 2 areas i.e. general education information as well as information on production and distribution of BOWT products.

Roles of Folk Media in Promoting Tourism of Talad Kow Hong Community Amphoe Bang Plama, Suphanburi.
Roles of Folk Media in Promoting Tourism of Talad Kow Hong Community Amphoe Bang Plama, Suphanburi.

This research was to analyze the roles of using folk media in promoting tourism and to find the guideline in using media to promote tourism. The research used Talad Kow Hong community Amphoe Bang Plama Suphanburi Province as the study site as it was an important tourist resource because of its historical significance and there were some interesting phenomena of using folk media in line of semiotics. The research results reveal that folk media had the content reflecting 3 semiotic forms: first - those of historical traces such as archaic sites and artifacts and the legends transmitted through generations; second-the long-standing cultural values such as the traditional mode of production and old styled architecture still perpetuate and the last-the social values such as the Thai-Chinese relationship and the strong hold of societal traditions. All of these were embedded in the folk media. In regard to the forms of signification it was found that the folkmedia signified mainly through hidden messages. One had to rely on in-depth interpretation of the information along with the social contexts to gain understanding of their valid meaning. Besides it was also found that there were some uses of semiotic components to compose the message to be communicated as well. One of additional issues found was that the values and the meanings conveyed through the community’s folk media semiotic signs were significantly related and relevant to tourism.

A novel method for measuring total antioxidant capacity and its application to monitoring the antioxidant status in Thai herbs.
A novel method for measuring total antioxidant capacity and its application to monitoring the antioxidant status in Thai herbs.

A novel and simple method for measuring total antioxidant capacity or T AC in Thai herb extracts has been developed. The principle is based on generating free radical the deep blue Imipramine radical is generated by oxidizing Imipramine by ammonium tetravanadate in acid medium that can be easily scavenged by antioxidant compounds in the sample. Decreasing in the absorption spectrum at 620 nm related with antioxidant capacity was detected by spectrophotometer method in the proposed of practicable and low-cost However improvement of the throughput Flow injection analysis (FIA) was applied. The variables affecting the signal such as pH reagent concentrations linear relationship was optimized. The novel assay is linear up to 2800 mg Trolox equivalent/L its precision value is lower than 1% RSD and these are no interference from NaOH NaCI and N~C03 The method was applied for determination of three extract fractions of G. sootepensis. The results show the different of antioxidant capacity in each fraction with S I has the most TAC following S2 and S3 respectively. Although a good correlation of the present method was observed between two methods DPPH and Follin Ciocalteu reagent Finally the developed method was easy stable inexpensive environmental friendly and automated measures total antioxidant capacity.

A novel spectrophotometric method for determination of melamine
A novel spectrophotometric method for determination of melamine

The aim of this research was to develop a novel convenient low cost environmental friendly and simply method for determination of melamine in milk samples. The chemical reaction of this method was based on the complexation of melamine aldehyde and ketone called Mannich reaction. The absorption of the product complex was recorded by spectrophotometric technique at 236 nm. The method validation was good with linear range of 0.1-2.5 ppm and the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.08 ppm. The method revealed precision with %RSD values no greater than 5%. To quantitY the amount of melamine in raw milk standard addition was applied with recoveries in a range from 76-91 %.
