A Smart Mobile PV-Wind Hybrid System Prototype for isolated electrification
A Smart Mobile PV-Wind Hybrid System Prototype for isolated electrification

This paper presents the design and construction of a Mobile PV-Wind-Battery-Diesel Hybrid System Prototype for isolated electrification. The system includes a real-time monitoring system and a control unit which can control all components automatically. The design uses a short calculation method and then simulated by Homer program. The mobile unit is considered as a mobility utility for remote areas therefore the unit is constructed in a container unit which can be able to be transferred comfortably. The design has the components as : PV 2 kWp Wind turbine 1 kW Battery 24 kWh and Diesel Generator 5kW. From a long experiment the system can operate as the design and it is working stably to supply power to the load. The paper will describe fully for the design construction monitored data and analysis.

Speed Control System Design in Bicycle Robot by Low Power Method
Speed Control System Design in Bicycle Robot by Low Power Method

This paper presents compare results performance between two conventional controllers for bicycle robot. The bicycle speed control system was a highly nonlinear model multivariable and absolutely unstable. It has used for testing various design control techniques for low power. The objectives of this paper had to developed speed control which derived the mechanic model and experiment. Controllers are Proportional-Integral-Derivatives (PID) and on-off dynamic control. The dynamic system which also includes not stable friction effects the linear zed system model is used as a basis for the design to apply to speed. Computer simulation and experiment have been done controller are capable to control output speed wheel control system successfully. The results show PID controller better then on-off dynamic controller.

A Solid-State Device for Fault Protection in Low Voltage Wind Turbine System
A Solid-State Device for Fault Protection in Low Voltage Wind Turbine System

This paper presents how to design and build electrical protection equipment to apply for a wind turbine generator system which is modeled on low voltage 3 phase 380 volts system. This electrical equipment acts as a switch to open-close an electrical circuit to prevent an electrical system as well as equipments or devices in the system. It will open the circuit quickly and decrease the contact arcing of a circuit breaker. The implementation of power electronic properties is used instead of mechanical parts which is called “Solid-State Beaker”. This article presents a method of solid-state breaker simulation on the mathematical analysis via MATLAB/ Simulink program in the cases of fault occurring in an electrical system. The simulation is used as a comparison when it is brought into the system. The fault voltage is detected by RMS Method which is implemented in LAB View program. The detection signal will be sent to the solid-state breaker and order it to cut off all three lines simultaneously to confirm the efficient running of solid- state breaker. But this paper has not yet considered the effect of Harmonic.

Green Management Improves Organizational Productivity:Cases of Total Quality Management and Lean Initiatives
Green Management Improves Organizational Productivity:Cases of Total Quality Management and Lean Initiatives

The organizational environments have been dynamically changed. Chief executive officer must turn an ailing organization around by rethinking a new mission. With global competition and trend of environmental performance improvement the green management then becomes substantially strategic orientation. The new management techniques such as Total Quality Management and Lean Management are introduced to the organization for achieving its new mission. The researchers use case studies method to describe the causal relationship between productivity derived from continuous improvement initiatives and green management by presenting four empirical cases. The results of all cases were measured by differentiation and integration criterion and then quantified by the concept of Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing. The findings of this paper are the causal inference and continuous improvement initiative procedure

Modeling and Forecasting the Demand for Automotive Part of Foreign Markets to Thailand
Modeling and Forecasting the Demand for Automotive Part of Foreign Markets to Thailand

The problem of this research is automotive part companies do not have order because of the world economic crisis and effect to automotive industry. Automotive and automotive parts demand in the world decrease. Automotive Industry of Thailand received affect. Automotive part companies cannot export to foreign markets. The companies in Thailand need the forecasting of automotive part quantity demanded by foreign markets by selecting the most accurate model. This paper presents the modeling for forecasting demand for automotive part of foreign markets to Thailand with time series forecasting techniques. In this study the automotive part are wheels and including parts and accessories because Thailand exported the most in group of automotive parts. These five countries have consistently demanded the largest number of wheels and including parts and accessories are Japan China South Korea Germany and Indonesia. The research involves historical collecting data for the period of 1997 to 2008. The evaluation function of forecast error is used with MAPE. The results reveal that each country suits for each model in term of the chosen dimension. The government can use the forecasting demand for effective production planning by informing manufactures.
