This research is developed and designed wall clocks decorative home From sawdust waste in the factory Bang Pho district in Bangkok. The study was conducted by testing groups of wood manufacturer Bang Pho community the results are as follows. The study found that the criteria of design analysis from the experts were 3.97 at a high level and the satisfaction of the product production was 4.11 at a high level. When evaluating the overall picture the mean score of 4.04 was high level.
การเปลี่ยนแปลงสมบัติทางกลของวัสดุผสมพีวีซีและผงขี้เลื่อยไม้ ภายใต้สภาวะการใช้งานที่มีความชื้น
This research work was to study the effect of moisture on mechanical properties of wood/polyvinylchloride composites (WPVC). WPVC specimens in ratio of PVC and wood (100:100 by weight) were prepared by using twin screw extruder. The water conditions for WPVC specimen immersion testing were varied for temperatures of 30-70 oC and specimen immersion time of 0-120 h. The moisture effect was investigated by measuring flexural properties and hardness of WPVC as comparing with case of PVC specimen. The result suggested that flexural modulus of WPVC tended to decrease with increasing time of water immersion and then remained unchanged at immersion time of more than 72 and 48 h for water temperature of 30 and 70 oC respectively. The decrease rate in flexural modulus enhanced when water temperature increased. Flexural modulus of PVC slightly changed with increasing both immersion time and water temperature. Flexural strength for both PVC and WPVC specimens were found the change at water temperature of 70 oC only. Flexural strength of PVC tended to slightly increase with increasing immersion time whereas flexural strength of WPVC slightly decreased with increasing immersion time. Hardness of PVC specimen in cases of both water temperature of 30 and 70 oC slightly increased with increasing immersion time. For WPVC hardness tended to decrease with increasing immersion time and water temperature.
The used of bamboo residues from chopstick production for mushroom cultivation material
Bamboo sawdust from chopstick production process was used as substrate for Indian oyster (Phoenix mushroom) cultivation. Experimental studies in cultivation material including wood sawdust bamboo sawdust and fermented chopped straw for 4 experiments - first experiment used 100 % of wood sawdust the second experiment used 25 % of bamboo sawdust mixed with 75 % of fermented chopped straw the third one used 50 % of bamboo sawdust mixed with 50 % of fermented chopped straw the forth one used 75 % of bamboo sawdust mixed with 25 % of fermented chopped straw and the last one used 100 % of bamboo sawdust. All experiments were analyzed for chemical properties nutrients in substrates for mushroom growing and yield of mushroom. The results showed that each type of mushroom substrate with different humidity. pH is suitable for use as a mushroom cultivation material. For quantity of nutrients in bamboo sawdust is more than wood sawdust. Increasing of nutrients is depending on increase fermented chopped straw. For mycelia growth in wood sawdust were faster than a bamboo sawdust culture. Yield of Indian oyster (Phoenix mushroom) found in any treatments. Especially in experiment 3 (50 % of bamboo sawdust mixed with 50 % of fermented chopped straw) is more suitable for Indian oyster (Phoenix mushroom) cultivation which compared to the other treatments because of highest yield mushrooms (175.11 grams per piece).
