การพัฒนาเครื่องคัดแยกสิ่งเจือปนในเมล็ดข้าวปลูก

Thailand is an agricultural country. Most of the population consists of farmer. The rice is suitable to the climate of the country. And the main export of Thai is rice. The preparation of grain is also important. The farmer have to has an experience to choose the grain for growing the rice in farm. Good grian will give the high product. And good grain should completely free from contamination of disease and insect. Then it will be healthy seedlings. It is easy to harvest crops in a very high quality. Even it has good and high quality but it still has in impurities in the seed. Then the idea to create a project of sorting impurities from seeds. From the first it was built to help farmers to separate impurities such as grasses and husks. But the problem is the size of the maching is 140 x 150 x 160 cm which is larg and heavy then it makes the inconvenient to move. The preparation of the project is to develop an interest in sorting impurities in grain. The objective is to reduce the size to a smaller size than before. And increase the work more efficiency. The main aim is to sorting impurities in grain. Preparing the rice and put into the machin when power is opened. Rice will be flowing through the sieve which it works as a distribution and contamination. Then it will fail down into the sorting room. Impurities will be removed and the wind from the fan will blow the seeds. So we will get the good product and high quality. The results of the test. Wind is the best performance of the machine. Separating rice grains is 5.4 meters per second. The test of separating of the rice grains in 5 times and in the test of the 10 20 30 40 and 50 kg with a mixture of 10 percent of husk. the most effective of sorting rice is 10 kg. It can be isolated 99.30 percent with in 1.23 minutes.

The effect of pesticides on farmers and the distribution of residual pesticides in rice plants and rice grain was studied in rice farming area covered in Samchuk district Suphanburi province. The situation and health effects related to pesticides was conducted using an individual interview and filled-form questionnaire with 126 samples. The participants were male of 68.3% and female of 31.7%. Educational level of participants was to be 36.5% and 24.6% for primary and elementary levels respectively. One-third of farmers (33.3%) reported a monthly income in the range of 5000 to 10000 Baht. A quarter of farmers (25.4%) got higher a monthly income with 10001 to 15000 Baht. Family members was found to be 4 persons (54%) 5 persons (19.8%) and over 5 persons (11.1%). All participants concerned the behavior and perception related pesticides for their highly toxicities and extremely dangerously death. A half of herbicide (50%) was glyphosate. Seriously paraquat (commercial name of Gramoxone) was found to be 22%. On the other hand the most of insecticide (55%) was an abamectin and carbofuran (commercial name of Furadan) was found to be 15%. A 20 samples of rice plants and rice grain was collected by random sampling. The residual carbofuran and glyphosate in rice plants and rice grain was determined using standard method. It was found that carbofuran was found in the range of ND-0.05 μg/kg and ND-0.08 μg/kg for rice plants and rice grain respectively. Glyphosate was found in the range of ND-0.26 μg/ kg and ND– 0 . 2 2 μg/ kg for rice plants and rice grain respectively. The residual levels of carbofuran and glyphosate in rice plants and rice grain depended on a spray period time their decomposition and the concentration of carbofuran and glyphosate. The residual levels of carbofuran and glyphosate did not significantly quantitative correlation between rice plants and rice grain.

This research work presents the development of algorithms and programs used for classifying of white rice grains obtained from the camera by using image processing techniques. This procedure begins with improving input images converting color images to binary images by setting the threshold value automatically by using the Otsu’s method noise filter process image processing with structural elements that form a square determining the grain boundary by using the Canny’s operator determining the length of the grain by using the Euclidean’s method. Next the length results of the grains have been obtained from the decision process based on the Rice Standards of Thailand (RST) in order to receive the type solutions of tested white rice. From the testing results for 800 images it has been shown that in case of 500 images the developed program provided the mean absolute error of the grain length of 0.01 mm per grain. Moreover for testing of 300 images the developed program provided the separation accuracy of the grains up to 99.33% in term of the RST. This can be useful in determining the price of white rice in a rice mill with farmers.

The innovation construction for the toughness measurement of rice kernel with the inner pressure method
The innovation construction for the toughness measurement of rice kernel with the inner pressure method

During the rice processing the possible situations of rice kernel cracking and breakage are commonly occurred and these consequences cause a low marketing price. According to this issue the real-time observation and together with the knowledge base of mechanical properties should be essentially helpful in detection of these defect observations. The objective of this work was established to study the mechanical stress-strain properties of rice kernels via our in-house pneumatic system design. We found that stress-strain of RD6 RD15 Phitsanulok 2 and Khao Dawk Mali 105 were greater than KhaoYipun DOAI with moisture content of 20% w.b. These results tentatively indicated the mechanical stress-strains occurred were from the difference of rice shapes. Moreover we could recognize that the characteristics of these various shapes significantly followed the scaling law of the relation between strain and time. We also found that the breaking force was different value for rice varieties. This parameter obtained can be such a high potential approach that can be used for further developing in the quantitative classification of rice varieties.
