Cross-cultural examination of the relationship of service quality perceived value, customer satisfaction and Loyalty in the Drug Store in Bangkok, Thailand
The cross-cultural customer experience and the service environment were two of the most important aspects of retailing that should be prioritized particularly in pharmacy shops. This research investigated the retail experience at the pharmacy store from the perspectives of people from a variety of diverse backgrounds and different geographical locations. The interview was planned and performed by the researcher using a semi-structured format. Participants were recruited from a variety of community-based pharmaceutical shop during the pandemic in the Bangkok areas. The researcher applied convenience sample with the assistance of the owner of the pharmaceutical shop. The analysis of the data was transcribed verbatim and analyzed for key themes via manual inductive coding and constant comparison. The research participants shared their personal experiences with purchasing drugs and associated items during the pandemic. They were also exposed to the stores atmosphere and sanitary environment. Misappropriation of retail space might be caused by dissatisfaction with the shopping experience. A variety of behavioral strategies that improved the retail experience such as creating a dedicated section in the shop for relevant items or updating the in-store environment may help improve the retail experience for customers. The authors provided suggestions for how retailers might use their newly acquired knowledge about consumer behavior. Each of these themes also offered the possibility of further investigation in the future.

The researcher used quantitative methods which involved empirical research. The instrument of research was a questionnaire used to collect data from 520 customers of SF cinema city in Bangkok. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency percentage mean standard deviation and structural equation model analysis. It was found that the model was consistent with the empirical data. Goodness of fit measures were found to be Chi-square (2) = 288.293; Degree of freedom = 256; p-value = 0.081; Relative Chi-square (2/df) = 1.126; Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) = 0.965; Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index (AGFI) = 0.933; Comparative Fit Index (CFI) = 0.999; Standardized Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR) = 0.055 and Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) = 0.016. It was also found that (1) Price perceived value had a positive and direct influence on trust; (2) Emotional perceived value had a positive and direct influence on trust; (3) Price perceived value had a positive and direct influence on customer satisfaction; (4) Emotional perceived value had a positive and direct influence on customer satisfaction; (5) Trust had a positive and direct influence on customer satisfaction; (6) Trust had a positive and direct influence on word-of-mouth; (7) Trust had a positive and direct influence on Revisit; (8) Customer satisfaction had a positive and direct influence on word-of-mouth and (9) Customer satisfaction had a positive and direct influence on revisit. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics by the frequency distribution percentage distribution mean standard deviation and Correlation Coefficient analysis. The study results revealed that Bangkok Bank PCL employees were more attentive for the reason that the service users should be equally treated for example queuing. Marketing Mix (4P’s) was seriously applied to promote due to highly and strategically competitive market to help tracing the service or sales which had not been launched.
