การพิมพ์สีครั่งบนผ้าฝ้ายและผ้าพอลิเอสเตอร์โดยไม่ใช้การมอร์แดนท์สำหรับผู้ประกอบการรายย่อย
This research had an aim for studying the printing process of LACCIFER LACCA KERR. (LAC) on cotton and polyester fabric. The Lac dye was extracted by using Sodium hypochlorite solution Sodium hydroxide Hydrogen peroxide and diethyl ether then Acetic acid was used for dye sedimentation. Thenthe printing condition and color fastness to washing crocking and light were examined. The efficiency of solution for extraction process were found Diethyl ether > Sodium hypochlorite solution > Sodium hydroxide > Hydrogen peroxide respectively. The hot air was suitable fixation process for cotton and polyester printing. The cotton fixation was 150oC for 5 minutes it is 11.87 in color strength. And the polyester fabric was fixed at 220oC for 3 minutes the 8.27 color strength was shown. The both of cotton and polyester were printed with Lac dye had the good color fastness to crocking and light and moderate in washing fastness. This study can apply the Lac dye on cotton and polyester fabric by a printing technique without mordanting. Then it can reduce some chemicals in the textile printing industry. This process can applied and transfer for small enterprise for Lac value added appication.
Influence of the mordant on dyeing properties of cotton yarn with natural dye extracted from teak leaves
The objective of this research was to study influence of five different kinds of the mordant copper sulfate (CuSO4) ferrous sulphate (FeSO4) alum and chitosan on dyeing properties of cotton yarn with natural dye extracted from teak leaves. Cotton yarn dyeing with the extracted dye from teak leaves was carried out at 60?C for 30 minutes with a material to liquor ratio of 1:5. Three mordanting methods such as pre mordanting simultaneous mordanting and post mordanting were used. After that dyed clothes were subjected to measurement using CIELAB system and fastness tests. The effect of kinds of mordents on the hue of dyeing of cotton yarn shown that CuSO4 FeSO4 gave greenish yellow and yellowish brown respectively. While as alum and chitosan gave violet red. Moreover using CuSO4 (pre mordanting or simultaneous mordanting) and FeSO4 (simultaneous mordanting) improved fastness properties to light better than without a mordant.

This research aims to experiment with natural dye from the longan leaves Color fastness UV protection Designed textile products from Textile dyeing of longan leaves. and to teach the dye from longan leaves for design and processing of textile products to the community under the concept of the creative economy. The study consisted of two parts The first part is Color fastness and UV protection from fabric dye from longan leaves. The second part is Designed textile products from Textile dyeing of longan leaves. The research area at Yu Wa San Pa Tong district Chiang Mai province area planted with longan. This research is part of the solution to the problem of waste longan leaves. In addition farmers have to produce compost leaves and fruits are often destroyed by the fire. Impact on air pollution and Haze occurred in Chiang Mai now. Natural dye extracted from longan leaves was applied to a silk fabric by exhaustion dyeing process. Aluminium potassium sulfate ferrous sulfate copper sulfate and stannous chloride were used as mordants. The dyeing was conducted with and without metallic salt mordants using three different mordanting methods pre-mordanting meta-mordanting and post-mordanting. The colour of each dyed material was investigated in term of the CIELAB (L* a* and b*) and K/S value. The color fastness to washing rubbing perspiration light and water of the dyed samples was determined according to ISO test method. The results show that the optimal results were achieved when dyeing at 80 ?C for 50 minutes and at pH 3. Silk fabric dyed in a solution composed of a Longan from leaves without mordant showed a shade of pale yellowish-brown while those mordanted with stannous chloride alum and copper sulfate produced a variety of medium to dark yellowish-brown color shades. However duller and darker brown shade was obtained with ferrous sulfate mordant. The color fastness to washing water perspiration and rubbing were good to very good. However the light fastness results showed fair level except fabric without mordanted whose colour change rating was poor. The results confirmed that natural dyes from longan leaves extract with metal mordants have potential applications in fabric dyeing and in producing very good UV-protective silk fabrics. The second part is research data collected from literature research related research and field data was collected by interviewing recording a career field research brainstorming sessions and participatory action research between the villagers to researchers. The findings presented by descriptive analysis. The result is Textile product design of longan leaves dyed fabrics must take into account the capacity of the group. The villagers have restrictions on the production of textile products. There is no potential for forming other products. In addition to the garment as well as the group was started. The natural dyes of the longan leaves is new knowledge for the group. Therefore textile products in the early to conclude that the textile products the group members have expertise in manufacturing mens casual shirts ladies casual shirts and scarf. Create patterns with a variety of tie-dye technique. The silk material used as the main material used is cotton minority. Users is a group of conservative tastes nature lovers and those with artistic taste. The procession design and production-oriented textile products are Green Design
Development of Batik Painting Technique Silk Fabric via Natural Dyes
The aim of this research is to paint silk fabric with batik technique using five natural dyes from margosa bark lac mango leaves marigold and otaheite gooseberry bark. The pre-mordant and after-mordant techniques were used in this work. Ten mordants Aluminum potassium sulphate Copper (II) sulphate Sodium dichromate Tannic acid Tartaric acid Tin (II) chloride and Calcium acetate-monohydrate were applied. The batik fabrics were characterized in color strength rubbing fastness washing fastness light fastness and stiffness. The result indicated that silk fabric painted with natural dye from margosa bark could use all 10 mordants to improve color strength and gave various shades of color. The silk fabric painted with natural dye from lac could not use all 10 mordants to improve color strength but it gave various shade. The silk fabric painted with natural dye from mango leaves marigold and otaheite gooseberry bark showed that almost 10 mordants gave higher color strength and various shade. The mordanting technique would give good fastness and reduce the stiffness of batik fabric.
