The Problems and Utilization of Instructional Innovations of Lecturers atthe Faculty of Industrial Education
This is a survey research. Its objective was an attempt to analyze the problems and utilization of instructional innovations of lecturers at the Faculty of Industrial Education Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The sample group consists of 38 lecturers from four departments. The questionnaires were provided as the research tool to collect data. Statistical analysis was applied by using percentage mean standard deviation t-test and F-test technique. The research results were that the lecturers were different in gender age and educational background but problems in using instructional innovation were at the moderate level. The most internal important problematic factor was their attitude toward the utilization of innovation. The most external important problematic factor was lack of financial supporting on the production of instructional innovation. Lectures under the Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Department had problems in difficulty of using instructional innovation more than those of the Electrical Engineering Department. The Estimation of Reliability for Multidimensional Scale Using Different Extractions and Sample Sizes
The purpose of this research was to study and compare the reliability of Allen’s method (ΩW) and McDonald’s method (ωMD) using a NEO Five – Factor Inventory Scale and three different extractions with three different sample sizes. The sample was freshmen of Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok area. The results of the research were as the reliability of multidimensional scale from different extractions within the different sample sizes when using ΩW and ωMD were different with statistical significance at the level of .05. The estimation of reliability of multidimensional scale was most appropriate when using 3000 pseudo populations as the representative of large sample. The extraction of generalized least squares or principal factors with ΩW should be used with the sample sizes of 100 and 200 while the extraction of principal factors with ΩW should be used with the sample size of 500.
