Technology Transfer to Community for Existing Career Development and New Career Creation
This project has three main purposes: to provide training courses for producing and packaging of food textile craft and handicraft community products; to conduct a workshop for initial quality evaluation of community products and their packages; and to encourage the community to develop its products according to Thai Community Product Standard. The methodology of the project included assessing need for technology transfer; preparing the project; appointing the committee; recruiting trainees; inviting speakers; preparing instructors documents place and facilities; conducting the training course; and following up project achievement. Results from the 20 training courses with 204 target trainees revealed satisfaction in training at the level of 83.20%. About 46.15% of the trainees were ready for the community product standard guarantee and 33.17% were able to create new careers.

This project aims to develop RFID reader. With the following scope can scan at least 15 cards save both entry and exit data display Welcome on the screen and add or reduce codes by yourself The test results show that the RFID scanner can scan both key cards and manually scan both in and out. The screen also shows Welcome when someone enters and shows thank you when someone shows that the developed scanner can be applied really slowly
Properties of polypropylene conductive fiber from sheath-core bicomponent fiber
This is the study of a conductive sheath-core bicomponent fibers. The intentions of the experiments were to investigate feasibility of conductive sheath-core bicomponent fiber forming using selected materials and the fibers’ properties. The trails were to extrude the bicomponent fibers with conductive materials in sheath section and supporting materials in core section. The conductive carbon black was selected as conductive material to compound with polypropylene. The virgin polypropylene was chosen as core material in the fibers. It was problematic to form fibers using the conductive carbon black polypropylene compound alone therefore the virgin polypropylene was used as the core section in the fibers to promote production stability. The sheath-core carbon black compound bicomponent fibers were steadily produced with designated machine settings. The produced fibers were tested for their physical and mechanical properties and electrical conductivity. The results shows that the fibers with the carbon black polypropylene compound as the fibers’ sheath section and the virgin polypropylene as the fibers’ core section have conductive property. The conductivity of the fibers increased when their sheath sections were thicker as the ratio of the carbon black compound become higher. Even though thicker sheath section of the fibers (40% and over) have higher conductivity the physical properties of the fibers become weaken and less applicable as textile fibers.

This research was resulted of the characterization of cement paste composites (CPC) blended with palmyra fiber ash and surface-treated on short SWNT prepared by an electroless plating process. The cement paste composites included cement 270 meshes of palmyra fiber ash and short SWNT. The design of experiment was divided into 3 conditions namely uncuring 28 and 56 days in distilled water. The properties of CPC were carried out in chemical composition physical mechanical mineral phase microstructure and statistical analysis. It was found that in the chemical compositions an amount of silicon dioxide aluminium oxide and ferric oxide were 51.53% which was rated in class C. The bulk densities of CPC series between PFA10 (C) and PFA5AgSWNT0.01 (G) cured 56-day distilled water were an increased 38%. Then the highest specific electrical resistivity of CPC series PFA5OSWNT0.03 (F) cured 56-day distilled water was 1.14±0.31 mega-ohm.mm. The highest compressive strength of CPC series PFA5AgSWNT0.01 (G) cured at 28-day distilled water was 25.45±2.00 MPa compared with the OPC (A) was an increased 5%. Which the bulk densities of CPC series between PFA10 (C) and PFA5AgSWNT0.01 (G) were statistical analyzed the mostly cured at significant difference α = 0.05. In addition CPC series PFA5AgSWNT0.01 (G) mainly contained calcite portlandite quartz dolomite and ettringite were caused increasing compressive strength. And the SEM microphotograph were also displayed the calcium silicate hydrate portlandite and ettringite. Consequently the PFA was used to ability pozzolanic material using for lightweight concrete of CPC.

The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge management of local wisdom. This qualitative research was mainly conducted at Bang-Khurat Subdistrict Bangbuathong Nonthaburi. The research tools were in-depth and focus group interview. The statistical data analysis was SWOT and content analysis. The results were found as follows: 1. Community products: Bang-Khurat’s local products were commercially available including 1. traditional Khao-Chae 2. plastic basketry 3. clay artificial flowers 4.silk artificial flowers 5. genuine leather/patent leather bag products 6. magnetic mobile 7. leather bags 8. silk-lined pottery 9. organic riceberry 10. water spinach farm groups 11. OTOP Nawatwithi tourism community Khlong Ta-Chom Village moo.9 Bang-Khurat Subdistrict. 2. The SWOT analysis of Bang-Khurat products: It was revealed as following: 1. Strength: There were good leaders well-qualified staff and high-quality materials found in the local community. 2. Weakness: Most of the staff did not have enough money and lack of IT marketing and public relation knowledge. The last problem was ignorance of younger generation. 3. Opportunity: As a result of todays many more lines of businesses the community had opportunities to do E-commerce establish a small and micro community enterprise (SMCE) to earn their living increase income and build their brand. Moreover the government sectors were ready to support the community. 4. Threat: According to the community discussions their main obstacles were production marketing and technology. 3. Bang-Khurat s knowledge management: The source of knowledge came from their ancestors knowledgeable persons experts from the outside communities autonomy learning and study visit. 4. Body of knowledge’s process: The characteristics of local wisdom were both traditional and developed mostly starting from acquiring the knowledge experimenting adapting and improving the original products to the new ones. 5. Knowledge transfer: The knowledge was transmitted both formally and informally to their offspring interested neighbors students and youth in the community. 6. Knowledge management plans: They included family businesses group member training taking knowledge notes online teaching and providing some learning courses for local schools and academic institutions. 7. Knowledge management problems: According to the community discussions there were lack of continuity management and coordinators no official grouping limited scope of knowledge ignorance of younger generation and lack of inheritors.
