The properties study of lightWeight brick mixed
The objectives of this research aimed to study the appropriate ratio for making light weight brick which composed of the sawdust and water hyacinth and to study the efficiency of light weight brick. The research method was done by study the mechanical properties the compressive strengths and the physical properties with water absorption. The main materials were as follows: type 1-normal Portland cement lime gypsum aluminum powder ratio 30:9:9:2 and researchers determined 5 levels including of sand sawdust and water hyacinth according to the following proportions 40:5:5 30:10:10 20:15:15 10:20:20 and 0:25:25. The results revealed that the most appropriated ratio of the light weight brick was 40:5:5. The maximum compressive strength was 1.63 N/mm2. It is close to 2 N/mm2 from class 2 light weight brick standards value. The lowest value of water absorption was 514.29 kg/m3. It is close to 500 kg/m3 from water absorption of light weight brick standard value. Therefore these results supported the environmental conservation objective by increasing the economics values of sawdust and water hyacinth.
The removal efficiency of oil and grease from cafeteria wastewater by using chitosan from shrimp shell
Chitosan natural cationic polysaccharides is synthesized by deacetylation of chitin one of the major structural elements of exoskeleton of crustacean shrimps. Due to its combination of many unique properties such as no toxicity biocompatibility and biodegradability chitosan has been widely used to adsorb fat and heavy metal absorbents. The present study was undertaken to demonstrate that chitosan extracted from shrimp shell wastes had ability in fat and oil adsorption. In the process 50% chitin in shrimp shells was first obtained and converted into for 25% chitosan through demineralization deproteination and deacetylation process. The highest adsorption performance at 72% was achieved at the chitosan sample at the condition composed of 0.6 g chitosan agitating in 400 mg/L of synthetic water comprising of fat and oil shaking at 90 rpm/min for 10 min. and thus equilibrating for 15 min. at room temperature. Its fat and oil removal efficiency was a effectively close the with that of commercial chitosan (86% and 85% oil and grease removal efficiency). The synthetic chitosan revealed 68.42% adsorption efficiency in treating in water sample with 570 mg/L of oil and fat from the effluent in the canteen at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon North Campus. Therefore from overall the chitosan prepared from shrimp shells could possibly be further developed for future application in oil and fat removal from waste water treatment system.
Development and cement sheet reinforced with natural fiber
This research project has developed and produced natural fiber-reinforced cement tiles by incorporating natural fibers from para rubber leaves and torpedo grass and mixing them with cement and then compressed into a mold with dimensions of cube was 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm. The ratio of fiber and cement were 1:9 2:8 and 3:7 respectively. This study used both types of natural fibers including para rubber leaves and torpedo grass. This research found that torpedo grass mixed with cement in a ratio of 1:9 provided high quality of reinforced cement. The density of this sample was found 2.07 g/cm3. Moreover the dry shrinkage value and water absorption were 0.02% 0.10% respectively. The compressive strength was 64.25 kN or 0.23 MPa. In comparison with the standards of non-load bearing concrete blocks according to TIS 58-2530 the result shown that some experimental data are lower than criteria standard. Furthermore the adhesives (i.e. silica) are very important for the quality of natural fiber-reinforced cement

The research aims to investigate the problems and needs of the Lat Mayom Floating Market community in order to find ways to develop the market and improve the ability of tourism stakeholders to welcome foreign tourists. The research methodology was qualitative and data was collected by means of in-depth interviews with 20 tourism stakeholders in Lat Mayom Floating Market and a focus group discussion with 6 of these stakeholders. The research results indicate that Lat Mayom Floating Market is centred on agricultural tourism that presents the Thai way of life. The research identified several problems faced by floating market stakeholders including: difficulty in communicating in English; lack of tourism facilities to welcome tourists in the area of the floating market; and inadequate transfer of local wisdom and knowledge of tourism management to the younger generation. Due to these problems the participants stressed the need to receive training to develop their English and tourism management skills as well as the need to improve tourism facilities at this tourist site. Possible solutions to these problems identified by the research results include a project to train locals in many topics such as basic English for tourism service techniques to welcome tourists and knowledge of sustainable tourism management. The target group of this project should be locals who live in the area of Lat Mayom Floating Market. It is important that the training program be long-term to enable locals to practice English that can be used in real situations. Participants suggested that such a program could be organised by volunteers or by the government. Recommendations for developing Lat Mayom Floating Market include raising the awareness of both locals and tourists about conserving the environment and tourist safety (especially when taking boat rides); and preserving authentic culture of locals by developing only the tourism facilities (e.g. public toilets) that need to be improved not ง developing too many facilities such as parking lots or accommodation in order to limit the number of tourists to ensure the sustainability of Lat Mayom Floating Market.

This research aims to study and to promote labor right awareness in career preparation for Liberal Arts Students University Technology of Phra Nakhon. Interview and group discussion were used in this qualitative research. The sample was 12 of senior students from Faculty of Liberal Arts University of Technology Phra Nakhon in second semester of academic year 2016. The research instrument was a structured interview. The results were as follows: 1. All students were aware of labor right awareness in working time 8 hours a day and 1 hour of breaking time on weekdays. 2. Most students were aware of a weekly holiday at least once a week. 3. Most students were aware of the right to sick leave and to go for private business. If their leaves were 3 or more a medical certificate was required. 4. All students were aware of the wages paid to employees were not less than the legal minimum wage. Most students were aware of the payroll calculation that can be calculated by the length of the work and paid per hourly daily or weekly wages. 5. Most students were aware of the need for employers to provide welfare benefits as required by law. It is legal to place an announcement at the workplace of the employees. 6. Most students lacked awareness of the right to compensation in all cases; definition and conditions of compensation to be paid by the employer to the employee in case of termination of employment without offense under Section 119 other than that of other types of payers paid by the employer to the employee. Including normal and special compensation rates. 7. Guidelines to promote labor right awareness were through various media of universities faculties and branches such as websites announcement and including teaching on labor right in relevant fields.
